Food was normal. Nothing impressively good nor horrible. We did the combo set with two ramen, karage and two desserts. The waiter got our order wrong two times. First he got us two drinks that we didn't order. Then he gave us two of the spicy ramen when we ordered two tonkatsu. And he forgot about our dessert while we sat waiting there for 20 minutes. The guy seemed new but he really didn't know the menu well. The ambiance was really bad too as there was a wet pipe smell near where I was sitting on the second floor and really loud obnoxious family with two screaming kids. Came in right when they opened and nobody was to be found. Got the food and it was just ok. The spicy tonkotsu ramen was way too oily and greasy. The miso was just ok. The bun fell apart quite easily. I had to sit around and wait 5 minutes for the worker to figure out how to work the card machine, just for me to have to go up to the front to pay. The popcorn chicken wasn't bad but can't really mess that up. I will probably come back to try other things. The service was great and the place looked just as it was before it was burned down. Came back for their after renovations opening promotion. Came during weekday dinner and it was not crowded. We were seated upstairs as I don't think the booths were opened yet. We ordered the mega ramen and popcorn chicken. The shrimp tempura was good. But make sure to take it out the broth or it will become soggy. The soup base is still a little bland but it wasn't bad. Haven't gone to kyuramen in awhile and they finally reopened the Flushing branch! Had the #4 and it was pretty good. The Thai ice tea was definitely a must get though it was a bit sweet. The service was amazing and the waitress did a really good job explaining what to order and offer us assistance in making decision. We came at 2 and there wasn't that many people and definitely a good place to come for a quick food. Overall, the service was great and definitely recommend coming for their Thai ice tea and excellent service! read more

I came across the restaurant on Instagram and since I'm always game to find the best Ramen plus wanting to try omurice, this was my visit while I was in Flushing. Upon walking in, we were greeted and was immediately brought to our table. I recommend making a reservation. Overwhelmed by the choices, decided to just stick to Ramen and went for the Ramen two ways, Tonkotsu-Shio + Black Garlic Tonkotsu. Both were delicious but final verdict, going forward order a whole bowl of tonkkotsu-shio. The broth was rich, the noodle was al dente as it should be, & pork belly melt in your mouth... Not to mention the silky soft boiled soy sauce egg. Perfect meal for a wintry weather like today. Though very full, I had to try the crepe cake which is another one of my fav. Love ube so shared over with my bro. Not too sweet though the cream was a little heavier than I like. Not sure if I order again. Overall the service was friendly. If you're looking for ramen with a delicious broth in flushing, this is the spot to try. The noodles have a good bite to it. The topping are cooked to my liking. The omurice here is also good. Comes to you hot so you have to wait about 10-20min depending on how pack the place gets. Remember to check in if you want a free thai ice tea/ green tea dessert. Both good and save you about 3-5$. 1 per person. Came here around 6pm and had to wait about 10-20min to be seated for 2. This place gets full around 7pm. Will come back for more. read more

Kyuramen is probably one of my go-to ramen places in Queens. They have other locations in NYC, but I have only dine in this location a few times. I have tried three types of their ramen: #1. Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu, #2. Kyushu Tonkotsu Shio, and #4. Sapporo Miso Ramen (regular) and honestly I couldn't really taste the difference in their broths. If you noticed on their menu, all the toppings for their ramen are the same and it's just different broths. I also have tried their Classic Omurice (with Demi Glace) before COVID lockdown began and it was very delicious from what I remember. I have tried two of their desserts: Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly and the Matcha Pudding w. Red Bean. I enjoyed the matcha pudding and there can be some matcha bitterness taste. The Japanese cherry blossom jelly was a nice refreshing treat and there's some lychee jelly pieces in the dessert too. But, the jelly dessert overall was a bit sweet for me. Overall, Kyuramen is a good ramen spot for Flushing and I haven't had a bad experience dining here. I hope the other Kyuramen locations are just as good as this one. read more

Established in 2019.

The founder originally enjoyed eating ramen, and decided to study ramen. He repeatedly visited Japan to taste different flavored ramen noodles. Later, he simply opened his own ramen shop, in order to make the Japanese ramen a more affordable daily cuisine. The noodles are thick, different from your usual ramen spot but it really clings onto the broth. I think it was a solid bowl of ramen but I felt it was super salty, highly concentrated. Midway through, the kitchen guy gives me a can of Kungfu Tea green tea and said it's complimentary. The tea really helped with the saltiness. Overall, it's a good bowl of food court ramen but nothing spectacular. I saw another customer get a special combo meal, which has the ramen, fried chicken from the vendor next to this and a drink from Kungfu Tea also next to this place.

This doesn't affect the quality of the food or the experience but it was just something I noticed. They were still very attentive and provided great service. I and my girlfriend were chose the combination B, which are include Kyushu Tonkotsu Shio Ramen(we choose the straight style noodle), Miso Ramen(we choose the wavy style noodle), Popcorn Chicken, Matcha Pudding with Red Bean and Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly(But they current sold out of it, so we get two Matcha Pudding instead). Just a few minutes chatting with my girlfriend, the ramen already be done and put in-front of us. Both of Ramen get Seaweed, Bamboo Shoots, Chashu Porks, Half Marinated Egg and Corns! First we took a spoon of the soup. My gf's Kyushu Tonkotsu Shio Ramen is mild, rich bone soup taste with little bit sweet. My Miso Ramen is spicy, not really strong, with little bit sweet as well. Anyway, both ramen soup are really tasty. Then it's the noodle part. OMG!! It's Al Dente!!! Especially when I take the noodle with soup together into my mouth. It's an amazing experience!! The popcorn chicken is crispy outside and juicy inside!! Su~~Su~~Su~~(We just could not stop enjoying it. And in Japanese tradition if you make the noise of eating noodle, it means the ramen is super delicious!! More louder more tasty!! Respect to the chef!!) The best is also at the end. Let me introduce the Matcha Pudding with Red Bean, the restaurant gives you a small dish of milk let you mix with Matcha Pudding and Red Bean. I can 100% promise they made the Matcha Pudding by themselves. It's fantastic! The strong the Matcha taste with little bit of bitterness of Matcha, which is exactly perfect for us. The milk will make the pudding more smooth. It makes me feel like I am taking the Matcha Milk tea with Red Bean. One more thing I have to say is the service!! The waiters and waitresses will notice that when you are running out the napkin of water. They will immediately come to you to check if you need more. The store manager will ask the customers how does today's ramens or dessert taste when you are finishing, to make sure that customers will have the best eating experience in his restaurant. I was there with my family last Thursday a guy with glasses was taking our order and after we order without asking he just took all the menu away while I'm still looking at the drinks and I try to tell him I want to keep the drink menu he turn his back and walk away. When I finally really to order the drink There was nobody around I have to walk out of my booth walk inside the restaurant to tell they what I want. What kind of service is that customer have search for their waiter to make a order. And I visit again today because a friend is in town she want to try this place I was like fuck it maybe this time will be better but same fucking thing no greeting people take your order and walk away when you need them for something nobody is around and most worker there don't speak English I'm not trying to be a dick but your restaurant is in New York your worker should be able to communicate and explain the menu to none Asian customer. My friend was tryouts trying to ask for a different type of soup to go with the noodle but the waitress stand there looking at us like we stupid. Seriously what kind of fucking service is that. If you're looking for a good ramen spot in the neighborhood, Kyuramen is a great choice. This chain restaurant offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with two floors of seating. The first floor has bar seating and private covered booths, while the second floor features an open layout. Their largest table can accommodate up to 8 guests. On my first visit during the grand opening, I sat at the bar. I enjoyed the ambiance and the view, and I tried the omurice omelette. While I liked it overall, I found it a bit dry, even with the sauce. During my second visit, my friends and I tried the black garlic Tokyo Tonkatsu ramen. This was a hit! The ramen was incredibly flavorful, and I left feeling full and satisfied. For my third visit, I went for the yin yang bowl, which is half tonkatsu and half spicy ramen. It was a great way to enjoy the best of both worlds. On my fourth visit, I tried the honeycomb platter, which comes with five different appetizers. My favorites were the shrimp tempura and eel tamago. I also had the curry ramen with tonkatsu. The broth was rich and delicious, but unfortunately, the tonkatsu was too hard and difficult to eat, so I couldn't finish it. As for drinks, the lemonade and Thai iced tea are both excellent. I'm not a dessert person, but they do offer many beautiful cakes and Japanese desserts. Come to a Ramen spot, we must try their ramen noodles. They deserve 0 star. I barely write any yelp review but I have to write it this time. I went to try out this restaurant with my friends because we saw good reviews from Facebook and yelp. Indeed it was a worst dining experience for us. The waitress was very rude to us when we asked him if we can change to another table because the table he gave us got nothing to cover the sides as we were dining out on the street but the other empty tables have covers. He said it is what it is, can't change table. My friends really wanted to try the omelette over rice so we decided to stay and ignored the rude waitress. However, the plates and folks were very oily and not so clean. When the food came, the rice and the green beans were so hard to chew. The curry sauce with the omelette rice was super salty. We also ordered the Thai iced tea, which made us very mad because they used the powder to make the Thai iced tea instead of making it with the real tea and milk for us. We were confused because we saw they served other table with the real Thai iced tea (Thai tea with milk on top). Very disappointing!!! I recently tried the Ying Yang Bowl at Kyuramen, and it was easily one of the most interesting ramen dishes I've had in a while. The bowl is split into two different broths, which lets you experience two flavors in one meal. This is by far my favorite hotpot place in the city! The service is amazing and the quality of the food is great. We arrived at the restaurant at around 6PM on a Saturday night. There were at least 20 parties ahead of us and we waited about 1.5 hours before being seated. Good news is that they have a little waiting area with free drinks, games, origami, and cell phone screen protectors that you can use while you wait. After we were seated inside, we were given an apron, a bag to put our masks in, and a iPad to place our orders. There's also a sauce bar with complimentary fruits, side dishes, and soup. We got the four soup base option (tomato, mushroom, spicy, and bone broth). All soup bases came with a decent amount of ingredients. I especially recommend the tomato and the spicy broth as both were very authentic. Unfortunately, the dancing noodle was no longer an option due to the pandemic. From the outside, this place may seem like a normal noodle bar. However, do not be deceived. Walking in, I did not expect much, but after I was seated, I was in shock. My friend and I ended up getting a private room for our dining experience and it was quite nice. After we decided on what to order, there was a button that we pressed for service and our server arrived in less than a minute. Aside from the quick service and nice atmosphere, the food was much better than I have expected. The takuyaki melted in my mouth as I took the first bite. My taste buds were begging for more. The ramen tasted much better and it was perhaps on the best ramen I've ever had. After the food, we took a look at the bill and it was quite cheap for the amount we got. BEWARE of the TIP SCAM!!! They mess around the suggested tip guide to cheat you to tip more. On the bill's suggested gratuity, they calculate the tip post tax. Tip should be based on the pretax amount, since the service you received has nothing to do with the tax. It is not a significant amount in our case, but it does make a difference if the bill was larger and it does add up for the waiter. Very unethical practice. Do not recommend!!!. A very DISHONEST business that rob their customers in front of their face!! Do you know that a man has actually sued Cheesecake Factory for messing up the suggested gratuity. Dont know if the case has been settle yet. You can google it and learn from it ;P read more

This was my second time trying Ramen and I was skeptical because the first time I tried it somewhere else it wasn't good but WOW! The ramen here is so delicious! The broth was amazing, the noodles were perfect, the pork bun was also delicious & the matcha pudding is definitely worth trying, the Thai Iced tea !!!Our waitress Yvette was the best! Such a sweet person, we felt so welcomed. Will be going back for sure! Also, their outdoor dining set up is great, so cozy, private & most importantly following all COVID guidelines. We received alcohol wipes for our hands before and after our meals. read more

If you're a ramen lover, Kyuramen is a must-visit! From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The broth is rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices, and the noodles are perfectly cooked--chewy yet tender. Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but I was practically dying of hunger so I popped in. The definition of a hole-in-the-wall. I got the regular hamburger and wow... there are no words. A classic burger done right. Crips bun, juicy patty, stuffed with all the essentials (ketchup, shredded lettuce, tomato, and pickles). There's about a million option availably between the meu board and wall full of specials, so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself! You won't be disappointed. read more
