I don't do a lot of five star ratings, but if you want a really good burger and fries, you'd be hard pressed to find a better meal. I had the mountain climber and my kid had the classic burger. I ordered double meat because previous comments referred to thin patties. Absolutely delicious and it had that char flavor (fire grilled) that is so hard to master. We split an order of fries and both tried the sparkling lemonade with cucumber. Everything was just how it should be, I was stuffed, and the service was good too. I'll be coming up to Goleta on and off for (at least) the next four years my kid is at UCSB, and I hope to eat here at least once on each trip. read more

My compliments to Natalie from Kyle's kitchen for making one of the best chocolate milkshakes I've had in many many years. The milkshake's smooth consistency of chocolate and ice cream combined with the precise amount of fluid, and blended to create a perfect taste sensation. To finish off the milkshake presentation in the tall parfait glass, the whip cream was expertly applied like a volcanic mountain. My compliments to Natalie and the entire Kyle's kitchen team for another outstanding dining experience! read more

after a very long drive, arrived here quite peckish. their earth burger and kale&cranberries salad hit the spot: tasty. friendly staff and service. read more

So disappointed in the tomato basil soup! It used to be my favorite because they put in cheese and croutons. I guess they don't anymore! It also is more expensive then it used to be! Now it is $7 and it used to be $5. read more

One of my new favorite spots in Goleta. The soups are homemade and healthy. The arugula chicken pesto sandwich is my favorite. The cucumber drink is delicious. The place tends to get busy especially for dinners on the weekend so prepared to wait in line and sit outside. read more

Delicious & Affordable eats on the healthier side. The Cheesy Pig & Bacon & Egg Burgers were really good and better than any fast food burger and were ready in about the same time. The ingredients are fresh. The fries taste so good and even the Stinky Pig Fries with bacon & bleu cheese weren't greasy. Must also try the fresh squeezed juices and lemonade. To top it off we sat outside under umbrellas with a cool breeze and great music to complete the ultimate lunch experience on a weekday. Can't wait to be back again! Forgot to mention that they give some proceeds to children with special needs and the restaurant is an inspiration of Kyle, a special needs student from a nearby school. read more

Honestly, I expected to really like this place, based on its reviews, the concept, etc. but was sorely disappointed with my burger. The bun and toppings were great, but the patty was tiny, and very overcooked. The meat just wasn't tasty or worth the price compared to somewhere like the habit or in n out. The fries were pretty delicious, but ours were not very hot by the time we got them. Service was good, and is the only reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 2. read more

Just tried this new Restaraunt in Goleta and was presently surprised. From the creators of Silver Greens, Kyle's Kitchen gives traditional American food a healthy upgrade. Their hand cut fries are amazing. The prices are amazingly affordable and I love that they give you the "double the protein" option for $1.50 more...'cause baby needs the meat! I had the seared Ahi burger, double protein, at it was mmm mmm good! read more

great staff, service, food, & mission!!!! cool atmosphere, friendly people, and really yummy food. I'm a fan

My wife had the Thai salad and thought it was very good, except that the added chicken was dry. I chose the cheesy pig burger and added crispy onions and my burger was too dry for liking as well. A little ketchup helped but it still didn't impress me. Bottom line: I would go again if my friends were already going there but it wouldn't be one of my top choices. My wife said she would go again with someone that appreciates a good salad. Bonus points for friendly employees, tasty shakes and cool atmosphere. read more

We are vegetarian and were excited to try their veggie burger. My husband and I tried it on two separate occasions. My veggie burger was awful. It tasted like it was made with spoiled quinoa. My husband said his was all mushy and slimy and it made him feel ill for the rest of the day. We won't be back until they come up with a new recipe. read more

pretty good food. service is good. its a bit on the pricey side, and theyve forgotten paid for add-ons on more than one occasion. considering how expensive it is to add chicken to salads, they should be on top of that. for large salads, adding chicken is $4. $2 is the small salad price. read more

Kyle's Kitchen is one of our most favorite restaurants to take our family to. They have the most amazing salads- mine being the Kickin' Cowboy (with chicken). The Kickin' Cowboy comes with crispy onion strings and jalepenos along with many more fixin's, it's delicious! The kids love their burgers and especially their french fries (they are the best). Oh- and their shakes/malts are flavorful and creamy. Also their brioche buns are to die for- very soft and buttery, melts in your mouth! There's something for everyone at Kyle's Kitchen. Plus it's location is near Trader Joe's and Albertsons, which makes it easy to swing in for a bite while out running errands. The servers are friendly, and they have a giant chalkboard wall to help entertain the younger kids while waiting for their food. We love to eat there, and we also find it convenient to swing in there for take out food as well. Good food, good service, A+ restaurant! read more

Great atmosphere, fun easygoing. Generous service, good price for serving size. Crispy fries

French fries came out cold and flaccid. Veggie burger was so-so.

Service is great, and food was delicious. They have a wide range of desserts and burgers.

Kyle's Kitchen burgers are amazing. I'm gluten free so I get em lettuce wrapped. Not always thrilled about a lettuce wrap but they are solid here. Their fries are great too. Great value over all. read more

Yummy Tuscan chicken and Thai peanut salad! Reasonably priced and consistently good food, with a feel-good mission. This business gives so much to local nonprofits, especially helping those with special needs. My kids like the veggie burger and the Cheesy Pig burger, and the fries are good too. We also like Silvergreens, their other location with similar menu, when we are downtown. read more

Kyle's Kitchen was great! The food was fresh and delicious. There was a minor mistake on our order, the staff was more than accommodating. Loved the vibe from the staff, and the decor. So happy to have a restaurant in town with such a positive team! Looking forward to adding this place to my dining out list! read more

First time here and I'm very satisfied. A simple but not too simple menu. More than just hamburgers, they offer fish, chicken and vegetarian sandwiches. Good looking salads too. I had a high quality carrot curry soup as a side. Impressive for a "burger" joint. A very friendly staff to top it off. I'll be back. read more

Kyle's Kitchen - Inside - Salad Near Me - Goleta, California

The food was great for the price and they support a great cause. We got the wrong salad, they took it back and replaced it with no problem. Regardless if you like their food or not, their proceeds support the special needs community reaching their potential. Look up their story if this doesn't convince you already. read more

Have been here a few times, and the food is alright. Nothing too special, the burgers are pretty small. It's not like I wont go here again or something, but it's also not my first choice. I'd probably give it 3 stars, but added one for the mission of the whole thing read more

I've been here several time for my lunch break and it's excellent. Parking is easy. Food is good and priced well. I like their music. All the employees have been nice. I enjoy the family and kid atmosphere. Only thing I might dislike is that noise levels can be high. Otherwise, grab a great healthy burger, fries and chocolate malt at Kyle's. And maybe draw on the wall too. read more

Fantastic everything! Fun new place in Goleta. Still some small growing pains. But as good as they are, it will get worked out. read more

I got the chicken club without the sauce and it was good. What I really wanted was the cheesy hamburger, fries, and shake. Must go back next time! Yummy! The tip donation is a great idea! read more

I had the Thai salad and it was delicious, exactly what I was hoping for. Because they can "skinny up" shakes I had one too and it tasted just as good. Both kids had the Kyle's Burger and they were gobbled down in no time. They thought the burges were delicious The service was quite friendly and prompt. read more

A friendly and peaceful environment greets you as you enter the very large and open ordering area here. I really enjoy the bacon&egg burger as well as the soups. Such a great place for a great cause. Such an amazing idea for the community. read more

I love Kyle's!! I highly recommend getting the half ahi salad with french fries on the side, and one of the local beers they have on tap! The staff is sweet and courteous, and always ready with a smile! Thanks, Kyle's Kitchen and keep up the great work!! read more

We went there twice within the same week and the food taste decent the first and not so good the second. Hopefully they will get more consistent over time. The brioche buns are a nice touch and tasty but the rest of the burger is nothing to write home about. It's an OK place but pricey for what it is. read more

It is really good for the price. I am amazed at the subtle heat of the jalapenos in the Kicking Cowboy salad which make it spicy but not overwhelming. I also love the ahi sandwich. For the price, you cannot beat this place. read more

Very clean place was recommended by a coworker and I'm very glad I gave it a try. Great food, great service and very nice staff. Will come back anytime I'm back in the area. read more

Been here many times, each time something has been very wrong, burgers were either raw or burnt never cooked normally, the Salads and fire fries have consistently been missing half the items that are supposed to be on them. One Saturday at 5pm they were even out of buns so no burgers could be ordered but the staff seamed annoyed that people weren't still ordering. I keep trying to give this place a chance because everyone loves it but honestly every time I've been it's been a nightmare read more

Good beer choices. Fries were on the small side but really good. My only problem was the quinoa veggie patty. It was too soft and melted into the bread. The Thai side salad was amazing though and the beef patty is great. I'm coming back. read more

Amazing food run by a more amazing family! I love the burgers, the ambiance, and every food creation they put together. Silvergreens and Kyles Kitchen are my favorite! read more

If you are craving a small 3 oz burger, this is the place for you. If you're looking to feel full after you eat your burger, find another place to eat. Do not recommend. read more

I like the handcut fries there , I think it is more delicious than any other fries in town. The staff is always friendly toward the customers. The only reason I am taking off a star is because it can take a bit long for them to deliver the food. Aside from that , everything is great! read more

I have eaten at Kyle's before, and enjoyed it. I am now trying to not eat meat, so I got the earth burger, and it was very much like earth. It was mushy and flavorless. Had the fries been decent I would have been almost OK but it was a basket full of 1/2" long ends or scraps or something, not resembling french fries. The earth burger patty was really bad. It was almost s though it was not cooked. It has egg in it so I hope it was. Mushy and without flavor and with the really thick bun, it was just not edible. I could not eat it. Wasted a lot of money! read more

Open until 9:00 pm but you can't get a milkshake with your meal because they've already cleaned the equipment. Really?

Great spot for a fast, fairly healthy meal with kids. Service is always friendly, place is clean and you might be lucky enough to have Kyle visit your table to say hello. read more
