I am extremely disappointed with the experience my son and his friend had at Kyle's Kitchen. They are teenagers and placed an order, waited a long time (about 40 minutes), but only received half of it. When my son went back to the counter to ask for the rest of his order, the staff insisted that they had already given it to him. He tried to explain that he never received it, but instead of resolving the issue, they accused him of lying and refused to give him what he paid for. He came home upset and frustrated--not only did he lose his allowance money, but he was also treated unfairly. I am certain that if an adult had been in his place, the situation would have been handled differently. A teenager is still a paying customer and deserves to be treated with respect. This was an unacceptable experience, and I will not be returning. read more

Disappointed and Concerned - Not Allergy Friendly. I was really looking forward to dining here, but unfortunately, I had to leave before even ordering due to a serious lack of allergy accommodations. I informed the staff about a peanut allergy, and while they said they would notify the chef, they also made it clear they couldn't guarantee there would be no cross-contamination. For someone with a life-threatening allergy, that's just not acceptable. I understand that not all restaurants can be completely allergen-free, but the lack of a safe option--or even a real attempt to provide one--was disappointing. It's 2025, and you'd expect more awareness and preparedness around food allergies. If you or someone you're dining with has a peanut allergy, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. We were traveling to this area for a varsity volleyball game and decided to stop here to grab a bite to eat. After waiting 30 mins for our order I inquired how much longer it would take and was informed it would be another 15 minutes. I decided to get a refund because now I was late for my daughter's game. Upon watching the worker bag the food, she continues to touch the food with her bare hands, pressing it down. she then used the counter rag to wipe down the counter and then proceeded to bag other to go orders and touching their food without gloves. such cross contamination. My go to lunch place. The kale Cesar salad is all I get. So healthy and tasty. I always add garbanzo beans to it for added protein. Super easy to order. I order online and you get points towards rewards. Gives you a time to pick up and i just drive right over. It's ready within seconds of me getting their because they bag it up. Customer service is always great here. As soon as anyone walks in they are greater right away. No complaint here. Exceptional service and food for a great cost. They also donate to some great causes. Really don't like to leave reviews under three stars, but in this case I need to. A group of graduate students at UCSB ordered from Kyle's to host an end-of-quarter dinner. I got a vegan meal. At this point in the evolution of vegan cuisine, I do have generally high expectations of vegan burgers. Guess that's where I went wrong. Because we ordered as a large group, there wasn't a ton of choice in terms of options. Everyone got a burger, salad, and dessert. However, we did have the ability to specify dietary restrictions, and I was clear about being lactose intolerant and vegan. So, it was pretty sad when I took my my order out of the bag. The Earth Burger looked good, but the patty was bland without the garlic aioli, which isn't vegan. Having made my own garlic aioli, I know it's not hard to make one dairy-free, but sadly that didn't seem to be an option. For some reason, the caramelized onions had been left off my burger, and the crushed avo was a super skimpy little smear on the upper bun. On the whole, it was good in terms of its protein content, at 13 grams, but beyond that I wasn't satisfied. And I'm not even sure if the bun was vegan. The salad was most definitely not vegan. It came topped with plenty of shaved parmesan. If only they'd been that generous with the avo on the burger. It was meant to be a mix of kale and romaine, but I eat kale all the time and can tell you that there was 0% kale in the mix. After picking out the cheese, I was left with a small portion of plain romaine lettuce. That's a very sad excuse for a vegan salad. Then there was dessert: a regular old chocolate chip cookie. Not even pretending to be vegan. I'm sorry, but what? There are so. Many. Vegan cookie recipes and bakers out there. Please, help a vegan get some sugar. As my first restaurant food order in months (due to Covid), I am left sadly dissatisfied. If someone from Kyle's is reading this, please, up your vegan game! I already tried the OG Krispy Chicken but haddddd to give their Spicy Krispy Chicken sandwich a try. It knocked Chick-fil-A out the water guys. Very juicy and tender chicken no doubt. And feel free to sub any Krispy chicken in their other burgers as well. Their brioche bun + a well seasoned and fried chicken is lip smacking good. I always was a fan of their seasoned fries also. Price is reasonable as usual and I enjoy ordering online for ease of pick up, ordering, and noting any requests. I appreciate them allowing me to get sides of their house made sauces. I'm really digging their new spicy aioli! Can't go wrong with their Kyle sauce (thousand island), garlic aioli, or jalapeño ranch either. I have had several menu items from their soups to burgers, but this will be my go to from now on!! This a great burger spot in Goleta! What stands out for me besides the already delicious burgers is the brioche bun. It's thick but soft and very crunchy. Maybe it's because I don't eat a lot burgers with brioche buns but wow, I wish all burgers came with buns like what Kyle's Kitchen uses. My wife got the Earth Burger and paired it with an Ahi side salad. She liked the burger but loved the Ahi side salad. Maybe it's because she was surprised that she could get any of their main salads as a side salad with the burgers. Very awesome she said! And of course my son got the kid cheeseburger meal. He scarfed that thing down because he loves burgers. We went on a busy Saturday night and all the seats inside were taken so we sat outside. It was a little cold outside so we asked if they could turn on the heaters. Unfortunately they didn't have propane tanks so we had to make due. Only knock I'll give this place. Came here for the first time today for lunch. The location was convenient and the atmosphere was welcoming. People were sitting outside in the patio area enjoying company and good food. There was laughter and smiles abundant! We ordered online, so we could use the first timer promo code and get $ off our order. By the time we ordered and drove over the food was ready. Yay! We took it onto the patio under an umbrella and unboxed our fresh bag of goodies! My fiancé had the combo with the Mountain Climber, fries and a chocolate shake. The crispy outer and soft inner fries and chocolate shake outshined the burger in his opinion. But all had fresh ingredients and were devoured! They forgot his side or ranch though. I had the Earth burger and I thought the veggie patty was delicious! The online menu said the onions were caramelized but they weren't in my burger so I took them off. They forgot the garlic aioli, but remembered my side of Kyle's sauce so I put that on instead, which was key. Otherwise it would have been dry. A bit annoying to not get what I ordered and having the dissect my burger, but once the dissection was finished it was a yummy burger. The wheat bun was delicious and they didn't skimp on the avocado. I left feeling satisfied but not weighed down. I love the case this place supports. That's the best part of the vibe here. read more

Great for take out during the stay at home order! Visited Kyle's Kitchen on Easter Sunday while the stay at home order was in place. Ordered online and drove to the restaurant 30 minutes later to pick up our food. The large parking lot was almost empty. Cars came and went while we were there. Everyone was picking up takeout from Kyle's Kitchen. I waited until everyone exited before I entered the restaurant. Although only open for take out and delivery at this time, the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The decor was farmhouse meets industrial. Chalkboard signs adorned the walls. The atmosphere was very welcoming. At the time of my visit, there were two people working the counter. Both were appropriately masked and gloved. My wait inside was about 5 minutes. Service was friendly and helpful. Our food was well packaged and marked. The quality and taste of the food (Ahi in My Body Burger, Earth Burger, Cheesy Pig Burger, Quinoa-Keen-what? Salad and 4 cookies) were delicious! The portion sizes and pricing were good. We even received a surprise Easter egg with jelly beans and a number for a drawing. What I like most about this restaurant is that they donate a portion of their proceeds to special needs organizations in the community. I'll be back! read more

They're just so satisfying to eat; the crunch is always perfect, the bun is beautiful and shiny and soft, and they give you as many extra pickles as you need. Ok. I've always loved Kyle's and the burgers are so delicious. When I ate meat, I loved the California club as it was just amazingly good. Now, I always get the Ahi burger and often the Thai peanut salad. The thing is, they changed the fry seasoning to a more basic (still good but not as good) one and the prices have gone through the roof since Covid. Still good for a quick dinner/lunch but the prices have limited those to the point where it's cheaper to get fancy ramen from Nikka than a burger and a side. All together, an amazing restaurant, just a little bit steep prices. Also, fast amazing nice service and really awesome atmosphere that feels really alive. read more
