My daughter bought me a $35 Amazon gift card from Woodman's for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, the card was accidentally thrown away because it was still inside the envelope. The very next day, when I went to add the gift card to my Amazon account, we realized the envelope was gone. My daughter contacted Woodman's and was told to contact Amazon. Amazon said they could not help without the gift card serial number, which was not printed on the receipt, and told us to go back to Woodman's. I then called Woodman's with the original receipt and asked if they could help locate the serial number or provide any assistance. They refused to help, even after the issue was escalated to the corporate level. Update: After writing the review, someone from Woodman's did help us out. We appreciate the help. If the people at the store and corporate were as nice, I would have given an excellent experience. I enjoy the variety that Woodman's carries. Thank you customer service for caring about me and my family.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience…read more My 15-year-old son had his first job interview scheduled with this company on June 25 at 3:30 PM. He received an automated reminder text an hour before the interview, confirming it was still on schedule, but the call never came. He texted the same number for an explanation and got only another automated reply directing him to email. I emailed that address and received no response. I also called corporate headquarters three times during business hours and was sent to voicemail each time, with no return call. Mistakes happen, but the complete lack of communication, accountability, or even a basic apology is unacceptable. This was my son's first experience with the job application process, and he was simply ignored.

On this particular occasion I was in the only employee run checkout lane that was open (nothing unusual, but completely annoying). As I waited I received a text from my mother. So as I was reading and replying to the text apparently lane 1 opened and I didn't hear her say it the first time. By the time I heard the older woman announce she was open and walked over she was angry and I heard d her say "Jesus Christ". I didn't take offense for religious reasons , but felt it was unnecessary. I will not be going back to the pig anytime soon as I work in Oshkosh and have multiple options. I've always wanted to support local, but I won't be spoken to like that!

Sunday mornings are kind of a madhouse, but any weekday early enough in the morning is calm and serene. Their weekly specials are amazing and such a fantastic price point. Those are what get you in the door. Be careful not to deviate too much from those, as the middle-of-the-store items are extraordinarily pricey. Cereal, flour, soda, etc are sooooo expensive! Shop around the perimeter of the store and you won't be disappointed. This is pretty much the only store that I get my produce from. Everything is indeed "days fresher". I like that they have lanes for you to bag your own things because I don't really trust too many people to bag my groceries. I have had enough squished loaves of bread in my lifetime that I just like to bag my stuff myself. Sometimes even though they literally have every single lane open, you still have to wait three people deep to check out. The store is clean and well lit. I also like that they offer a free jello cube from the deli and free cookie to your kiddos as you shop!
