Great day for customer service at this location in Waxahachie. I needed coolant for my Mercedes and was going to do it mysel. I couldn't even get the hood up. lol Decided to ask a young man named Coy if he would open the hood at this location. He not only opened the hood , asked if he could assist with putting coolant in my car. Coy made sure I had purchased the correct coolant and explained why that was so important for my type of car. My 21-yr-old daughter went to Kwik Kar to have her AC recharged. They said initially that it would be $160 to re-charge it. After over a 2 hr wait, they came back and said that it could not be charged, needed a compressor, and that the bill would be $183.16. The A/C still didn't work. I wish they would have told her up front that the procedure might not fix the problem and that if it didn't the (long) diagnosis would still be expensive. That seems like a lot of money to just be told "it doesn't work." read more

This place is a scamming franchise. They tricked me in paying for and oil filter houser saying I had a broken oil cap. So, because I trusted them they made pay $41 for an oil filter houser for the smallest chip on the outside. They told me that all of my oil would leak out if I didn't change the oil filter houser. The women staff is horrible. As soon as I call to report this issue to them they accuse me of stealing air fresheners that are free at other locations. Went for an inspection and was told the inspector was at lunch from 12 to 1pm and it would be at least 45 minutes. Funny thing is, it was 1 pm! I sat there about 6 minutes and went inside and asked if they knew when the inspector would be back. The little ponytail girl was very rude. There are other better places to have your car looked at! Fine for oil change but nothing else. Belt issue recently. Took vehicle there instead of my normal excellent mechanic because they are closer. Dropped off the vehicle and was informed that the mechanism holding up the belt needed to be replaced ($500+). Drove the vehicle home and parked it for a few days and drove the Infinity Q60. Drove the Chevy Cruze to work the next day and the same issue, same noise; called to inform that I'm bringing it back because the issue is still there. The mechanic stated he drove it and found that a spark plug was lose and was causing the noise that sounds like a belt. I assumed that they would tighten it and that would be that, but instead I was charged for a diagnostic test (no lights were on). They had the audacity to charge me another $70+. I called the mechanic while on the parking lot to see what the issue was prior to walking in. The mechanic stated $37.50 but once inside, I was charged $70. I asked the mechanic to explain what happened 3 min ago that change the prices (doubled). He tried to ignore the question and kind of brushed me off. Well, never again will they see any of our 4 cars. Not a good move. Also, he tried to stare me down to see if I would back off with my questions. No sir!!!! Kwik Kar is my go to with an auto needs. I have been getting my oil changed there for years and I have never had a single issue. I have had a Ford Focus and a Chevy Impala that they have treated so well! I love their full service oil change. Additionally, I recently had my check engine light come on and they helped me out and even recommended a place to get the issue fixed. read more

Showed up at 3:45 for an inspection after being told to come back because they were on an hour and a 1/2 lunch break. They closed at 5 but I was told inspections won't start till Monday at 8 AM . I would never go back this place again and I hope no one else does either read more

Clean, well lit waiting area. Customer service is great. Oil change for a truck was $60.00 which is almost double what I pay elsewhere right down the road. Needed one bad as I was going out of town so did not complain too much to myself about price since they did vacuum it out. Will use again if in a hurry but if not in a hurry will go elsewhere. read more

They have two bays that are strictly for oil changes and they can fit two cars in each bay- super efficient system they have! When NTB lost my appointment (again) I started looking elsewhere. I was not waiting 90 minutes for a simple oil change. Two miles down the road, and these fellows had my truck parked over a bay in under 5 minutes. Another 5 and they'd found a broken brake light (5 bucks) and were ready to replace the windshield wipers (around $20). In 20 minutes I was driving out of there. That's the way you do it. read more

They take advantage of you if you don't know what your doing I got taxed $50 for an oil change when the last time I came here it was $25. Hell if wanted to pay that I would've went to the dealership. My fault for not saying anything but I was desperate for an oil change. They could've had a returning customer but I'll just go somewhere else now. read more

This is the BEST place! I wasted an hour of my day attempting to get my oil changed elsewhere & then, in a time crunch, made the drive down to Kwik Kar hoping they'd get me in & out. They did, as always, with exceptional service. Took my 2019 Ram in for 1st oil change. Lady that greeted me in front of building was very friendly. They didn't have my oil filter in stock as it is 2019 truck but asked if I wanted to come back or wait 20 minutes as the Dodge dealer would bring filter. I waited as I wasn't in a hurry. Dealer brought filter and they completed the pm (preventative maintenance). Met the owner as I was waiting, very friendly guy. 1st visit here for me but will bring all vehicles here from now on. They have two bays for oil changes that will fit 4 cars. Clean shop and very nice people. Highly recommend. I came here after reading the great reviews and after local Dodge dealer told me it would be several hours for oil change as they are short handed. read more

I asked for "just an oil change" . They did a full service oil change, by default I guess. Then charged me $50. I was in a hurry and had some other place to be so I didn't contest it. Looking back I wish I had because for some reason one of the bigger guys that works there was suddenly standing in the back part of the checkout counter eyeballing me while I paid. I didn't think much of it in the moment, but looking back I fully believe it was an intimidation attempt in case I did protest the price of the service I did not ask for. So there you go. My mind was elsewhere at the time and I needed to leave. I'll either never go back again or see if they try to pull that stunt again. read more
