Disorganized, not punctual, very rude even to Veterans. Don't bring your vehicle here. If you do prepare to be displaced from your vehicle for many days. They work on 60 cars at a time biting off way more than they can chew. To whoever you speak to on the phone to Check the status of your vehicle You will be greeted with attitude and threats to return vehicle incomplete of the work needed to be done. This is a great place to have your vehicle worked on or inspected, Motorcycle Inspections too! We've used Mack's Automotive for a number of years and vehicle types. They've always been more than capable of handling anything from minor brake work to major electrical, or engine related problems. Service is great and wait time is very good, depending on your individual vehicles needs. Pricing is always right, they don't charge you for what they didn't do, unlike other places in the big city! Just moved into town and needed to get my car inspected before getting my Texas license plates. Although Mack's does not let you schedule appointments, they assured me on the phone that I can just show up and get it done on the spot. I went one morning, and sure enough, I was in and out within 10 minutes. I appreciate the quick service. They also directed me to where I needed to go to submit my paperwork (since I am new to town). MacK's Automotive is on the top of my list here in Midlothian. The shop chemistry is outstanding. Everyone there is nice and the mechanics are excellent. Brandon took care of our car. He immediately diagnosed my carburetor issue as he found a stretch throttle return spring. He wasted no time in personally picking up the part and got me on the road. The owner Junior has assembled a great team. Take your car to MacK's if you need service. You will be pleasantly surprised. I have always had a good experience with them and have always recommended them. (HUGE MISTAKE AFTER HOW THEY TREATED ME) However this last time, I received an estimate of 2k (yikes but sometimes things are pricy) when I got there the receptionist told me $3K!!!!!!!!!! (My car isn't even worth much more than that) The HUGE problem with this is not only did they not bother to call and check with me BEFORE they added the massive price difference (I dont know how many of yall have an extra grand just laying around I sure dont) But when I continually stated to the receptionist that was not NEAR what I was quoted and expressed my confusion and concern she completely ignored ALL OF MY CONCERNS. She literally acted like she did not hear me. Talk about insult to injury!!! I can not believe a supposed valued loyal customer was treated this way. read more

This place is the place to get your car fixed. They are great! These guys are really friendly and every time I go they all ways call me and my mom by name. We've been coming here for about 5 years and we love it. They are very fair and honest. If they can't fix it for some reason they will be straight with you and tell you, instead of trying to BS you or find ways to charge you. This place strives for TQM - Total Quality Management! They always put the customer first and aren't satisfied until your satisfied.
