Hawk treats their customers like family. They dont try to sell you things you dont need. They have fixed my daughter's car after Firestone fixed their machine to say it was out of alignment and needed new tires when we already had new tires. Hawk said she didn't need any of that. Today they are fixing mine. I thought I needed an alignment but didn't. My 3 tires were bald and battery needed replacement. It hasn't been starting right or not at all. The cable was corroded but it was the battery. I was about to drive to San Antonio to pick up my boat. Thank goodness I came here first to make sure it was ok to drive that far. A blowout towing would not have been good. This place used to be my go-to for any of my automobile needs when I lived in Red Oak. Haven't been there in the last 7 years as I moved to DeSoto. Today I had a major oil glitch and happened to be a couple miles away and took my car there. Ali and his hard working guys took care of me. Customer service was great. Pricing was what made it not so enjoyable. $500 for just labor to replace rear shocks. Called Nissan dealership and was quoted same pricing with parts labor and warranty. This was just for labor as well. I knew it was overpriced but work was already done by the time I was quoted other prices. I know you get what you pay for but I know it is not $500 just for labor. My fault for not doing more research. I came here because of all the good stuff I kept hearing about this place. read more

This is a great auto care center. They are always honest and upfront with everything. My car starting sounding really weird on the way home from work on 3/4/25. Lucky for me, I live in Red Oak where they are located. They took one look at my car and knew what was wrong. They fixed it and I was on my way. They are great for most any car repair you need. I've had my oil changed here 3-4 times. This morning, I dropped by for an oil change with one car in front of me. After seeing two different vehicles pulled in before me, I decided to leave. The mechanic stated I was delayed because I asked about a tire rotation. I went 1 min down the road, was serviced immediately, and told your tires are very new we don't recommend a rotation before 10k miles. I should have been serviced at Hawks rather than waiting almost an hour and disregarded as a customer. read more

Went in to have alignment done. In and out in 15 minutes. I thought that was too fast for alignment. So when I looked the report, the after number were the same is before. They never adjusted anything. The camber is in green but right on the line of going to red, he never adjusted to bring back to center on anything. Just took my money. My camber was 4.9 when I came in and it's 4.9 on the way out. When I tell them they just try to blow smoke up your butt. All of you women and men they don't know anything about cars, stay away. I had my air conditioner looked at. They ripped me off. Did a lot of talking. Held my vehicle for 8 hours and the showed me a line that they insinuated they replaced. Nothing was replaced and they tried to explain away the fact that it wasn't going to get cool because of a plastic gear that was able to slip. A whole bunch of trash talk. 900$ later and it still doesn't work. These people are scammers. I watched them "look" at a woman's brakes and decide that she needed all four brakes replaced. They didn't drive it or anything just walked out spent less than five minutes and said all four needed replaced. If you are a woman alone and are asking about something that could be expensive for sure it will be expensive not the cheaper cost. You will be scammed here. read more

My dad purchased a scooter and needed it inspected. He and I went up there to get the inspection and they took the scooter back pretty much right away. Did the inspection and we were done in 15 minutes. They also did NOT charge him. Brought him his scooter and keys and told him to have a nice day. My dad tried on 3 occasions to pay the owner but he declined. I couldn't believe it. I will recommend and use hawks Auto care from this day forward for anything my car or dads scooter may need. The customer service was superb all the way around hands down! It was extremely nice of the owner to do it for free. Not what we expected. If I could give a no star I would. Took my 2019 Tahoe with 2000 miles in for an alignment after I had lowered it. They said it was good to go. 9 months later it needs new tires and took it to Christian brothers in waxahachie to redo alignment. They found that hawks had tac welded the camber bolts and broke 4 of the pins. $650 later and thanks to Christian brothers my wife's car is safe again. Will never take another car here ever again read more
