Took a 2021 Lexus rx350 in for an oil change. They completed the oil change The next morning there was oil on the driveway. Took it to a Firestone in Arlington and they found the oil filter canister was cracked. So this Firestone had to do another complete oil change and replace the oil filter canister that was broken by the Firestone in waxahachie. As I have mentioned before this Firestone in waxahachie has gone downhill very fast. Seems they can't keep managers and quality techs working here. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! By far the worst Firestone location I have ever been to. Brought my vehicle on Friday, the third of October, to get the timing belt replaced. They told me the mechanic will take a look at my vehicle on Tuesday when he's in, I said No problem. Called on Wednesday to get an update. They told me to call back on Friday, the 10th. I instead drove over there to check on it. One of the guys there told me they hadn't had time to look at my vehicle. He then suggested I should take it somewhere else if I couldn't wait. I said no problem, will it be done next week? THEY SAID YES!! I left. Called next week on October 14th, they said they didn't have an update but to call back on Friday. I said okay. I called on Friday the 17th. To my surprise, the person I spoke to on the phone told me they didn't have it ready. He then proceeded to tell me I was "FORCING" them to work on my vehicle. At what point did I force you guys to work on my vehicle? I said. He had no response. I said What now, he said the tech didn't feel "comfortable" working on it. I said Do not touch my vehicle. I'm on my way to get it. Lastly, the guy said, "We won't charge you for the diagnostics". DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Horrible customer service, lack of communication, and professionalism. Honestly, I'm not the type of person to leave reviews, but I just needed an alignment. When I called the store, some kid named Cypress answered. I asked very politely if there were any openings, and he responded with a terrible attitude: "Didn't I talk to you earlier?" Like no-I had just called. Simply put, if you don't know how to ask questions or hold a conversation, you shouldn't be answering the phone. This company beat me out of alot of money. I told them all the things that I had done to car and put it all in there notes then came back and charged me for the work that I had done. This is unacceptable for customer to put there trust in company's like this and they still don't fix your problems but over charge you for work that was already completed. I advised everyone to do your homework about this company before taking your vehicle to them. They never tried to work out anything with me and never told me about what needed to be done to fix the problem. Firestone tires are good tires but this location is not worthy of selling them. We stopped our car off at 3pm and was told it would be a couple of hours so we left and came back and left and came and left and came... finally at almost 7pm they finally got it completed. If you look at the parking lot you will see this location is losing business and customers and I can see why. The tires are good but the service is slow to the point of being unbearable. read more

I took my vehicle to have 4 new tires put on. After $800 dollars of tires and my wife picking my vehicle up, I get back in from my work, and realize I'm missing my front drivers side Chevrolet cover cap, and all four of my metal American flag valve stem cover caps that were personally given to me by a very important friend of mine. Upon calling the store Rodolfo advises me that he can't find my stuff and that his tech move so fast and unless told by the customer they just throw stuff away. Also would like to point out store opens at 7:00 but according to Rodolfo the technicians aren't in yet. I'm a little confused on how this place is even still open! Mind you my phone call to him was at 7:24 AM. Not to mention, when I left my truck was running fine and that same day I ended up having to have it towed due to a radiator fan assembly and thermostat issue. 2,000 more dollars later and now my truck is fixed. I'd avoid this place, customer service and absolute atrocity, and the way the staff clear runs this place is a joke. If I could leave a -5 star review I would but it's not an option! read more

I've been going to the Firestone in Waxahachie for about 10 years now. This weekend, I took my car in for some basic maintenance, an oil change and care care package. Nothing complicated or time-consuming. Just had to go pick it up because they couldn't get the work done even though I dropped it off on Saturday around noon. The staff spend more time smoking than they do actually working on cars. You would think that smoking would be prohibited near an area that has gasoline and oil, but nope - they sit and smoke and the entire lobby smells like an ashtray. There are cigarette butts all over near the entrance. Both the quality and timeliness of service have been getting progressively worse, so it's clear the store manager simply doesn't care. I would avoid this place like the plague. I used to use Firestone regularly for my auto maintenance, but since moving here I have had nothing but poor service. The latest episode was a brake job. After setting up an appointment the week prior, it took them 2 1/2 hours to diagnose that my brake pads didn't need changing but the rotors needed to be replaced in the front. It took them another hour to finish the job, and then they charged me more than was quoted on the phone. I know it's not easy to find a good mechanic in a new area, but I am still looking. read more

Now they out to pack up charges even when you know what's wrong with your vehicle . i had to get towed back twice after (over 10 hours combined wait time) faulty repairs.. fix a problem , another problem appears .. Just went in for just a air/fuel sensor $97.00 bucks at AutoZone. Spent a lot of money there this past year on all three vehicles. Every time I come here I have to wait for hours for service to be completed. I would've been okay with that I guess, but they lost me as a customer because of my last experience. I brought my minivan in because of a recurring flat tire. (I live in a new construction neighborhood so it's normal for us to have flat tires.) The technician told me they found nothing in my tire and it must be the cold weather that lowers the pressure in my tire. I also inquired about the tread being too low in the front two tires and he said the treads were fine. (Mind you my tires were under warranty at that time.) A few weeks later we brought the van back in for the same reasons and this time low and behold we were told we needed new tires for the reasons I brought the van in in the first place. By this time our warranty was up, so we had to pay for new tires. That was unethical what they did and I will not be returning. read more

I spent the night last night at my best friend Connie's house, so I went to the one in Waxahachie o do an oil change and inspection. How long does that really seriously take to do??!!!!!! I dropped my car off at 10:30am, and was told a couple hours. Ok no problem so we go to a nail salon do our nails, go eat lunch, and go back about 1pm. They haven't even touched my car!!!! They finally called and left a voicemail to pick up about 3:21pm. WTF!!!! For something so simple, how does it take that long!!!! Are they just sitting around with their thumbs stuck up their behinds!!!! I'm mean..... seriously!!!! I came back to pick up and manager knew I was waiting; he told me it was almost done and they would have it right out. 15 minutes later I notice nobody is even working on my car; manager says they pulled the mechanic to start on another car - even though they knew I was waiting. All they had to do was put tires back on and add oil, and it took an additional 45 minutes. Also, I paid for car care package which included rotating tires. I always mark my tires so I can tell if they have been rotated - they were not. read more

Went is to have a oil leak diagnosed . They told me that the leak was at my oil filter assembly and the only way to fix would be an engine replacement. I requested they check the oil cooler, they stated that the did, but that was not where the leak was coming from. I know they did not check because they would have been forced to drain all the oil to check it. I took the truck to the Nissan dealership, they replaced a $12 rubber o-ring in the oil cooler and leak is gone. read more

I'm giving 2 star because they are friendly. HOWEVER, I went in for an oil change and I also had a low tire. At the end, on the papers I was handed it said it was inspected and the tire came in at 36 and left at 35psi. I left and checked my tire with a gauge as soon as I stopped. It was the same low 30 psi as when I came in. They NEVER checked air pressure though they documented they did. Also, the mileage they wrote down was 2000 miles off the actual mileage. Someone isn't doing their job. I did call and they said come back and they would add air and the guy was like, "that's the one that was low." I thought, "thanks for telling me what I know." I just hope they actually put new oil in my car. UPDATE (next day)--I appreciate the store manager calling and owning up to the mistake and apologizing. I'm sure it was just one person that did this and not an example of the whole store. Like I said before, they are very friendly. read more

I made an appointment for 1pm. My daughter and I sat and waited an hour and our vehicle was still not being serviced. If I wanted to wait an hour, i could have done it at home. They made some bs excuse that they have a 2 hour appointment window. So if i make an appointment at 8am when they open, my vehicle will sit for an hour then so they can keep their appointment window? I think not. I came in for a 30 minute job at most. Tire rotation and balancing... Im sorry but i wil never come here again. Needless to say i got my keys and left. I went for an alignment, got there and only two people were waiting. As I enter the female at the front went out the side door. I stood there for 7 minutes waiting as she walked by seen me but stayed in the Bay Area. When she finally came back told me to wait cause she's trying to figure something out. 11 minutes later she figures that she should ask the customer about a key pertaining to his lug nuts. I then stated, "it took you that long"? So instead of asking the customer first about "his" vehicle. She was running around talking to techs about it. ‍After that I was done, thought hard about calling corporate but did not. Every that day in the Bay Area was either on his phone, walking around, or like one guy was sitting down eating by the alignment machine. I left my car for a simple oil change at 9:10 a.m. and when I went back at 12:15 to pick it up I was told there was a scheduled appointment before mine and mine was next. What? He said that the ticket said it was a 2:00 pick up time. Was never told any of that and my car had not even been moved. Ask if I wanted to reschedule. I took my truck in for an oil change and told them my top radiator hose was leaking. They called me two hours later and told me I need to replace the hose and a Y connector it attached to for a grand total of $545. I declined and picked up my truck after spending 10 minutes online. I would give a zero if I could. Made an appt for 11am to have my car aligned, brake fluid flushed and car inspected. After 30 mins was notified that they couldn't do an alignment on my 2019 Mercedes. I told them over the phone while making my appt three days ago what type of vehicle I had. So I proceeded to wait until 1pm (2hours) and my car had not moved from its place in the parking lot. It is now 2pm and it's still waiting to be inspected. They should have told me they were behind or that it was going to take this long. Very angry and frustrated. read more

I wanted to tell my story from about a year ago. I brought my truck in for a state inspection. They were busy, so I left it with them. Got a call saying it needed brake work. The brakes were fine when I brought it in and I do all my own maintenence, so I knew it was in good shape, no leaks and a firm pedal. When I got there, they said I needed both front brake calipers replaced, along with new pads and rotors. They said a caliper was leaking. I got under the truck and saw a leak from the fitting on the caliper. There was no drips on the wheel from a leak, or any signs of it leaking other than the fresh fluid. The tech had loosened the brake line on purpose. After calls to a distict manager, they appolgised and said it would not happen again. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone getting told they need work done, get a second opinion. As for me, I tightened the brake line, and a year later it is still fine. read more

I went in for an alignment on my 96 Nissan Sentra. They were pleasant, they did the alignment, they broke my turn signal lever assembly and said nothing. The high beam lights either won't turn on or won't shut off. The same with the turn signal. The signal lever moves in all different directions, it's broke. After I picked it up and discovered the issue, I decided I would never go back there. For them to do this is incredibly unprofessional and shows a complete lack of respect for the customer. Did the mechanic do this and not say anything...possibly. But, why is there not a service manager or shop foreman verifying repairs? read more
