I've only had state inspections and an emissions test here (no longer needing safety). The emissions test is $18.50. I've enjoyed my experience. Bonus points that it's less than 5 minutes from me. Every time I pull up, someone greets me at my window and takes care of it. I just show my vehicle insurance on my phone. I've never had to wait longer than 10-15 minutes for the inspections. Oil changes will take longer, of course. There's 3 bays that they work from. There are coupons on their website. There's a small waiting area while you wait. It's clean and has a TV and Keurig. There's a clear window view of them doing the work. You can also hear what's happening. I overheard some enthusiastic comments about my Crown. Haha. Thank you. I'm a Toyota person and had my previous one for 20 years. The nice guy who greeted me said he had his Camry for 311,000+ miles. Impressive. There were a quite a few people here but they worked through everyone with great efficiency. One of the mechanics even brought me around back to explain one of the services he was doing. I pulled in looking like a deer lost in headlights because I was unsure if I was on the right side and the owner/manager walked up to my car with the biggest nicest smile and made me feel better about not knowing where to go LOL. I told him what I needed and he said, of course they could do that and instantly took my vehicle to start the inspection process. I actually had a Groupon for an inspection at another place, but they didn't open until 9am, and this place had already opened at 8am, and I was nearby and in the mood to just go ahead and check getting an inspection off my list so I can renew my registration before it expires. I checked with them to see what the wait would be, and I was told 10 minutes. SOLD. I went inside and waited, and sure enough, not quite 10 minutes later, I was paying and about to be on my way. Service was quick and friendly, and I was able to be on my way in a very short amount of time. I stopped in to get an oil change and while I'm waiting I hear the garage guys talking about how I have no oil and borderline making fun of me for it. The guy came in and shouted to the whole room that I have no oil and I can blow out my engine. I told him, "I know. That's why I'm here." Then he goes out to the garage and starts mocking me to the other guys. I should not be subject to be made fun of when going in to service my car. Had my car serviced here because I was having issues with it cranking and needed to get it inspected- they got right on it and was able to run the diagnostic and get the results within 20 mins! There weren't any issues with my car, I had just been sold a bad battery from another place. They even advised me of the bay tarry warranty that was still on from the other place. I got some pushback from the battery store, they told me to tell the shop it was my charging point- got me in again same day to double check that this wasn't true simply for my peace of mind. I used to go to another place and decided to give these guys a shot - Sam was exceptionally knowledgeable and educated me on my car as far as important maintenance to keep up with so that the car runs efficiently. I could tell he was not attempting to over sell me because he showed me a few things that needed immediate attention - and some others that he said I could wait a little while longer before fixing - Sam showed me the color discrepancy of some of the fluids and the difference between my current AC and Engine (very dusty) filters to a new one. Website states that emails will be responded to within 48 hours. I have emailed twice without response. Kwik Kar Washington removed fasteners from the under-shield of my Bronco Sport during an oil change and did not replace them. The fasteners also maintain the liner in the wheel well, so this caused the liner to hang down and get torn up by the tire. Also lost a mud flap. The vehicle is new and had not been serviced anywhere else. I've been a customer of this Kwik Kar for several years, but this is the second incident I've had in the past few months. I came in for an oil change and the first thing the guy told me was their prices had gone up $20. I reluctantly decided to let them do the oil change. I waited a while, and then when I checked out, they went over the bill and mentioned a " coupon" (which I wasn't sure what they were talking about.) After I paid, I realized they charged me for an oil change AND inspection. I NEVER mentioned needing an inspection. He said, "well, sometimes people want it done early." I said, "today is April 1st; mine isn't due until June!" Then he told me it was a mistake. I was very confused and asked if they inspected my car. He said, "No, it was just on your bill as a mistake." I told him that I hope this was a mistake and they do not make this a practice to do this to other customers. They got mad cuz I wouldn't let them charge me $50 to change 1 filter. I called 3 other places all of them said around $30. So they changed oil and nothing else. Didn't reset oil life on truck. Didn't remove previous oil change sticker. Didn't replace wiper blades. Didn't check or replace air filter. Filled washer fluid with straight water. I had the wipers and air filter to put on truck. Bunch of scam artists and rip off. Last month when I was there they changed a ladies air filter without notifying her and then charged her $40 for it. She had to fight them to remove it. I'll never go back. And I'll never recommend them to anyone. Went another day an hour before closing. Just wanted fuel filter changed but they were more interested in leaving early over making a quick $50 for a whole 15 min job. I'll never be back here. I'll tell everyone to stay clear of this place. I arrived about 5 p.m. and was told they were not doing any more inspections that day (never mind their closing hour is 7 p.m.). I left work early anticipating a long wait so I was extremely disappointed in them. So I went down the street to Kwik Kar. There was no line, no wait, I was in and out within minutes. Bye" Kwik kar needs to train their employees in the most basic selling and influencing customers. Because he showed zero ability to sell. Especially after I called firestone a mile away, the employee greeted me, asked what car I have initially, told me a fair and honest price plus he gave me a 15 dollar off coupon. He told me what all I would get "oil filter, replaced mobile 1 oil etc. And how fast he could get me in and out. Now that is a SALE. And appropriately firestone gets the money.
