I am a DIYer and I replaced my own cv axles, after that my transmission stop engaging so i took my car there. they charged me $180 for diagnostic and they pointed out i had the wrong parts, so i replaced my cv axle with them and what followed was a grind noise that they ridicularized me saying it was my fault, i swallowed it dry because i know i got the wrong part from the start and i let it go. After a month the grinding noise was too much and i noticed my brake bracket was completely loose, so I took it there again. Result: they charge me for the missing pin it was on my car from the start, i declined, so they say something like 20 years of experience tried to dodge from parts of the inspection, put the pin back in 5 min (most likely my own that was sitting there for a month) and someone drove the car like a crack head to test drive(i saw when i was leaving, they saw me they did not hold back neither), and gave me call gave me back the keys no words about damage on the wheels, tires, loss of wheel balance, absolute silence. Tried to call after do expose all issues and hang up on me at first then manager called me then i lost it when i realized he is also the owner and central part of the disregard for this place because i pointed out personally to him all issues that needed to be addressed. What a disgraceful customer experience, halfass service, awful professionalism, ludacrous price with a tone of disrespect all along. This is the Kwik Kar to go to, hands down. The prices are better, the service is better, and you are treated very well. My advisor was a gentleman named Forrest and he was excellent. He explained the pricing to me beforehand, which did not happen at a different Kwik Kar location I had gone to. These folks will not try to upsell you on things you don't need. The word must have gotten out on how good this place is, since there were several customers already there when I arrived. I will only be going to this Kwik Kar from now on. I love this place! Honestly, I don't quite understand all the negative reviews/ratings, as I've always had an extremely awesome experience when I'd go here. They're very kind and helpful, not just to me but to others that I see walking in as well. They're very quick and efficient with their services and do a really good job. They also explain anything to you should you need it in a friendly manner. I feel that they're very genuine and sincere here. Some services can be a little costly, but they try to help you where they can and will discount things when they're able to. Went by to see if they could check the fuses and bulbs in my Honda because a couple of interior lights weren't working. They tried to convince me that the bulbs were burnt out, and you could not change the bulbs, but had to change the entire assemblies at a cost of $1100! Checked with someone else and all you have to do is replace the bulbs! What a rip off joint! I will give them one star because they told me I accidentally pushed the lock button on the passenger window causing it not to roll down. read more

The staff here is very kind and have a way of helping you be calm when you are stressed about your vehicle. Being a woman it is sometimes hard to find trustworthy help with vehicles and these two gentlemen that assisted me in an oil change and an inspection where so respectful. I will always go back and drive from Dallas to use this location. I wish I knew their names to state them but they know who they are and I wanted to thank them again. The shop manager & front desk phone operator refuse to give shop insurance, upper management, or owner's contact information. As a female navigating the predominately male auto mechanic world its difficult finding a reputable & trustworthy shop for service. I'm a returning oil change customer - shop serviced my previous vehicles & expected quality service on my newest but instead left with complete negligence on a routine oil change. Rip Off Artist - Arturo Garcia and his crew take advantage of women who come to him for service. They will go so far as to cut hoses and sabotage good running cars. They will persuade you in the work bay and try to hit you for the up charge even with a sign saying 'no customers in the bay'. Constant smoking as they work on you car from the very old guy with white hair looks like doc form back to the future. I knew of the family that use to own the shop before the horrible new management a couple years ago. They were descent folk. These are shysters in operation, the place should be shut down or case law suit at best. They really cut the hose on my wife's car. What Low lives.. Agree with all the other 1 star comments. Very RUDE! Called for a pre-purchase inspection, receptionist said yes they do do them, asked for the year, make and model. She said one second let me check with someone if we can do it. She came back on and asked if I had ever been in before. I said I had not I live out of state. She said oh hold on. Then enters Mark. i needed an oil change and general inspection, was in and out in 30 minutes for $80. way faster than Honda dealership. that said, they tried to sell me on things I didn't need or wasn't due for including transmission fluid replacement, which isn't due on Honda's until 60,000 miles. they tried to tell me it needs to be replaced at 25,000 miles. weird that the Honda dealership wouldn't mention that seeing as I'm close to 50k miles??? This shop was my saving grace in a stressful situation. On Tuesday, my car died as I was parking at work. I own a 2012 Honda Accord, that has been, by all accounts, a very reliable vehicle for as long as I've owned it. I live in Rowlett, and typically take my car to the Kwik Kar in Sasche, TX. I work about a block away from this shop, and after replacing the battery, and realizing the problem was my alternator, I drove it to the closest place, fearing it wouldn't make it back to Sasche. On arrival, I was greeted with a smile by Diane. She made me feel at home and completely at ease, promising my car would be on the lift within 15 minutes (and she was true to her word). Not only was my car looked at, but I was told that the alternator was my issue within 20 minutes. She ordered my part, and had I it installed in a timely manner. I had nowhere else to be (and no way to get there even if I did), so I sat in the waiting room while my car was worked on. While waiting, I witnessed Diane handle multiple different clients (both in person and over the phone). She handled each situation with strict professionalism, and care. At one point, a potential customer called on the phone. From what I could gather from this customer yelling and Diane's responses to her, she had purchased a second hand car that didn't come equipped with an oil pan or a key. While Diane was attempting to coach this individual on potential solutions to her problem, the client became irate and began yelling over the phone. Not only did this individual want to drive the car (sans key AND oil pan) to the shop, she appeared to want an exact breakdown of costs associated with repairs (which, in my mind, would have been impossible). Needless to say, this individual sounded difficult (to put it nicely). Diane handled a 15ish minute call with grace, never once becoming flustered. I'm not sure of what came of the situation, but I was impressed by the professionalism exhibited by the staff when in a difficult situation. From a personal experience, I was treated with compassion. I've read other reviews stating that employees were "rude" to customers. I didn't experience this at all. In fact, while I am wholeheartedly devoted to my shop in Sasche, knowing that there is a reliable mechanic so close to my place of business makes me feel so much better. Thank you for all of the hard work, and for getting my car back on the road. One thing I like about them is that they will not do work on your car/truck if it's not needed and if its not worth it, based on the value of your car. All I have to say is yikes. I came here for an inspection. I had no issues with the inspection but this place is so disorganized. While I was here, a customers key was lost. The lady at the front desk was not wearing a mask. The rest of the shop people were not wearing their masks over their nose. And the best part, so much cussing going on. I admit that I knew my window tint might be too dark but they had passed it 2 years in a row. So I took it to them again and after doing the entire inspection they failed it for window tint being too dark. Most places that care about their customers would inform them of that issue prior to doing to the entire inspection but they went ahead with it and charged me full price for the fail. I am not sure but I think it may be because I started getting my oil changed across the street because I can go get a Taco at Fuzzy's while I wait. This place suspiciously didn't have a Yelp entry, so I created one to help out fellow car owners. Do not give this place your business. I went in for an oil change and inspection. The oil change is more expensive than anyone else in the area, but I thought since they were doing my inspection I might as well get it done. I told the mechanic there was a problem with my taillight. The bulb was not out so I thought it was a fuse. The young mechanic was rude and condescending, so then an older man came out. Maybe the father/owner. I told him I need an inspection, but I need you to fix the fuse for my taillight, because I assume this is required for an inspection. They said ok. I get a call a few hours later. The receptionist proceeds to tell me all the reasons I failed the inspection, one of which is my windows are too dark?? She acts like she knows what she's talking about, but she doesn't have a clue. I go to pick up my car and the old man tells me I'm going to need an entire new taillight assembly, and that the electrical is bad. And that he failed me at my inspection! So I still have to pay. I told him that was unreasonable, since I addressed the taillight from the beginning! So I reluctantly paid the full bill, and left. Later that night, I found the blown fuse, replaced it, and fixed my taillight. Do not give this place your business. Not only are they overpriced, but they take advantage of you and don't know what they are doing. This is one of those auto repair places that your hear nightmare stories about. I went here for years but my recent visit was pretty bad. I had a oil change and didn't realize until 2 days later they over inflated all 4 tires. My handheld gauge display 60 psi but I think it was much higher because the gauge can only go up to 60. The recommended tire pressure for my car is between 32-35 psi. I released the air to a safe pressure and called in to report the issue. They immediately were on the defensive mode. They said my gauge was broken and there was no way in the world they could have made this kind of mistake. When I first discover the issue, I thought about driving my car back to the shop to show them but it was way to risky. Was told my oil pan was leaking which I thought was odd because my oil level was never an issue. I elected to not pay the additional hundreds of dollars for a new oil pan because o did not believe them. A day latter I'm driving down the road and all my engine lights come on and start blinking and my oil light. I immediately pull over an call a tow truck. Upon close inspection the oil screw had called out. They tried to screw the oil plug in just enough to make the oil leak slowly and make me think I really had an issue with my oil pan so I would come back and waste my money. I had the tow truck tow it back to them to put oil back in my engine and screw the plug back in. No Leaks after that, no Issues or comments about my oil pan any where else. Haven't been back since I refuse to step foot in that place ever again. read more

A few days later, I discovered that he had forced and broken my light switch. Now the fog lights come on and stay on in all settings (with both the parking lights and headlights). The fog lights are only supposed to come on when you pull out the light switch. Am very Unhappy. Will never go here again. read more

I was hesitant to bring my car back here after the change of ownership, but I thought I would give the new owners a chance. Boy was that a mistake. Arturo is a very shady character. He is very pleasant and nice, but I don't think he speaks much truth. I could write out all of the details of how they "fixed" my car twice only for it to run worse than before, how they over charged for parts and labor only to say a week later that my car needed an additional $1000 worth of work, and then how he tried to buy my car low balling me only to keep going up in price when he saw I wasn't going for it. I eventually was done dealing with them and had to tow my car away from there to another shop that was much more honest and had a long standing reputation of good work. They fixed my car for only $300 and said the work Arturo told me I needed was not true. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this place not even for an oil change or an inspection. I don't know where to start. I am still in shock while I am writing this. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION ! I won't be coming back to this location ever again. I have recently moved to the area and this oil change is next to my place.I found out they never replace the filters, and they did not fill the oil in during oil changes. I have been here the last 3 oil changes, and sure enough, my filter looks terrible and dirty like it's not been replaced in a long time. Most mechanics are rude the cashier the old lady is very mean and rude as can be, and they claim to give you synthetic oil, they up charge you but don't actually give it to you, synthetic oil should last you longer why my car showing me that with in 2 month engine oil is low? I only drive from work to home less than 3 miles every day. Also they will put wrong date.the sticker on your car next service date is the same month unless you pay attention on it. So I saw the sticker and I called this old guy he said he is the owner his name is dean. He was yelled at me and told me to leave the property. Actually if i didn't close my car window he was about to punch me.he was rude and at that point I was shocked . They really messed up my car.
