I thought it was so cool that I got to go behind the counter and pick frame options off the wall - they really have everything you could ever need! We found a matte and frame that worked well with my other degree, which I brought for reference. The whole thing was under $300, which was very reasonable for what I ordered! They also gave me a discount for being a first-time customer and they also offer teacher discounts! The framing was estimated to take 6 weeks, which was a little long. However, the wait is worth it, as they custom-order and shape the frame to your needs. My order was finished in a little less than that timeline, which I appreciated. They also gave me hanging advice and tips for where it would look best. I love how it turned out and will definitely be back when I next have something special to commemorate!

They all worked on the card and the results blew me away. I wanted to be able to keep it and look at it forever, but it was fragile and needed expert framing. A friend suggested Artistic Edge, and the rest is history. Jessica spent the best part of an hour with me going over all the various possibilities. The color of the frame, the size, the matting, the various parts next to each other, the weight of what would be the final product. She acted like I was the only person of importance throughout all of this back-and-forth as I changed my mind over and over. Finally I was ready, and she said that it would be ready by X amount of time --- probably a bit sooner. Off I went. WEEKS before the date promised Kathy called and said the artwork was ready. When I arrived and saw it displayed I cried --- it was exactly what I wanted and ever so much more! Kathy talked to me --- and LISTENED --- as though I was the most important person in the world at that moment --- I told her all about who made the sticker card artwork and when and why, and she just listened and smiled and chatted and was wonderful. I took my artwork home, hung it up, and took pictures for all the sticker artists to enjoy. Everything has come out perfectly! This is a beautiful, meaningful, lovely piece of art, in the absolutely perfect frame. Artistic Edge did an awesome job --- they respected the artwork, they respected me, they threw their artistic talents into this, and I feel that at the same time they got a kick out of doing it. We all of us have beautiful, meaningful artistic treasures hanging around our homes. I can promise you that if you bring them in, Artistic Edge will give them glory in a whole new dimension! What a fantastic place!!!

I can tell from his work, he is really passionated and proud of his craft, which is a very rare gem these days. I'm really speechless at the kind of work that he did. I came in with a damaged canvas. He stated that he can fixed it by vacuuming it out. He said it will most likely fix most of it and it will require time for the canvas to sketch and heal. I came in today not expecting the best but I was wrong. He made my canvas piece look 10x better than it was before. It simple language, he made it look flawless. When I mean flawless, I mean flawless. If anyone knows me, I am so OCD and very picky with how I want any of my finish product/piece/collections to look a certain way and Doug met that expectation. I thought I was going to come in and have to ask for a refund if I see one thing wrong or not perfect with the frame, but I didn't have to. Everything was perfect. Furthermore, Doug and his daughter were extremely patient with me as I was going over how I want something to be done a certain way. They were very understanding, friendly, provided excellent insight, and was just awesome in general. I'm already having more work being done with them as I'm typing this. I'm going to let them frame up some of my rare comic books and I can't wait to see how it will turn out. I'm definitely going to refer a few of my comic con friends to him. Sadly, I had no luck. The dresses in other costume shops were soo pricey around $150-275 just for rental, and the online ones I found were too shabby for its price or just not appropriate. I accidentally stumbled upon the Enchanted Cellar, when I was watching a play at Wright Hall. I am so glad I found this place because Roxanne is very knowledgable about the time frame of the costumes, and they had a good selection of dresses for every era. I would call ahead to double check the hours, if they have what you are looking for, and the price range for the type of costume you are looking for. I tried on lots of dresses, finally found what I wanted (took me at least one hour). Also I paid around 46 bucks for 2 or 3 weeks rental with student id (Roxanne was very accommodating, since my event was in San Francisco, and I couldn't be in Davis for some time), but I think the price depends on the costume and the duration. She even tailored the dress a little bit to make sure it fits me. A+ service. Additionally, although some of the costumes here are pretty old, they have a high quality because they were actually made here mostly for plays. If you don't want to have overdone or slutty costumes for Halloween or any other event, definitely check this place out! The price might be questionable and out of range especially for students, but a lot better than many places. Recommended!

We couldn't have been happier, starting with her initial analysis along with the painstaking care that brought our 29" x 36" heirloom oil painting back to life. The painting had hung in my parent's dining room for many years and before that it was in my grandparents' and great grandparents' homes in the Chicago area. On initial inspection, Stella told us that the last restoration had been botched and that the framed painting had been improperly mounted on Masonite. She detailed the restoration process and gave us two options -- full or partial restoration -- with two different price tags. We chose the full restoration. She sent us photos as the restoration progressed so we could see how much of a difference this would make. Now, 3 months later, we have our beloved painting back in our home. We're seeing detail and colors that we never knew existed. And best of all, the final price was exactly what she had quoted to us. Stella is a real pro!
