The staff is very friendly and they're happy to help you with your projects or answer questions. They have a lot of great art on display and we even found a piece that we purchased while we were there. We loved that they also have framing inspiration hanging so you can get an idea of different projects that they might be able to do for you. Now that we know about this spot we'll be back to frame some of the pieces we've been waiting to hang up.

They all worked on the card and the results blew me away. I wanted to be able to keep it and look at it forever, but it was fragile and needed expert framing. A friend suggested Artistic Edge, and the rest is history. Jessica spent the best part of an hour with me going over all the various possibilities. The color of the frame, the size, the matting, the various parts next to each other, the weight of what would be the final product. She acted like I was the only person of importance throughout all of this back-and-forth as I changed my mind over and over. Finally I was ready, and she said that it would be ready by X amount of time --- probably a bit sooner. Off I went. WEEKS before the date promised Kathy called and said the artwork was ready. When I arrived and saw it displayed I cried --- it was exactly what I wanted and ever so much more! Kathy talked to me --- and LISTENED --- as though I was the most important person in the world at that moment --- I told her all about who made the sticker card artwork and when and why, and she just listened and smiled and chatted and was wonderful. I took my artwork home, hung it up, and took pictures for all the sticker artists to enjoy. Everything has come out perfectly! This is a beautiful, meaningful, lovely piece of art, in the absolutely perfect frame. Artistic Edge did an awesome job --- they respected the artwork, they respected me, they threw their artistic talents into this, and I feel that at the same time they got a kick out of doing it. We all of us have beautiful, meaningful artistic treasures hanging around our homes. I can promise you that if you bring them in, Artistic Edge will give them glory in a whole new dimension! What a fantastic place!!!

It would be very difficult to give an accurate estimate that way because there's a lot of dry rot underneath the steps which needed to be inspected in-person. R&B Framing was the only company which showed up to take a look at the steps. Two days later, Jose Cedillo emailed me an estimate and thoroughly answered my questions. His company uses Redwood or cedar wood for Victorian homes, though cedar does cost extra. We were surprised by how fast his crew finished the job. They showed up on April 9th, early in the morning and worked until the evening. They arrived the next day to finish the rest of the steps and the banisters. He also painted the banisters according to the original white creme color. If it's a legacy house, they'll stick to the originality of the Victorian architecture. (Per building code regulations, when a house is considered a legacy house the paint must be the original--or close to the original color--of when the house was first built.)

Using the existing substructure that was still viable, they built this beautiful redwood deck and used a stain that we selected. All boards were stained on all sides prior to construction and protective tape was applied to the substructure so that there was no wood to wood contact. All joints were tight and gaps were consistent. Workers were polite and pleasant and on time and cleaned up after themselves . Great job!!! Highly recommended!

We couldn't have been happier, starting with her initial analysis along with the painstaking care that brought our 29" x 36" heirloom oil painting back to life. The painting had hung in my parent's dining room for many years and before that it was in my grandparents' and great grandparents' homes in the Chicago area. On initial inspection, Stella told us that the last restoration had been botched and that the framed painting had been improperly mounted on Masonite. She detailed the restoration process and gave us two options -- full or partial restoration -- with two different price tags. We chose the full restoration. She sent us photos as the restoration progressed so we could see how much of a difference this would make. Now, 3 months later, we have our beloved painting back in our home. We're seeing detail and colors that we never knew existed. And best of all, the final price was exactly what she had quoted to us. Stella is a real pro!

The frames are made of plaster, that was cast over wire. They are at least 100 years old. Chunks missing. The photos are curved. No glass covered them. The glass was lost or broken years ago. No way she could find glass that could fit the photos and the frame. The restoration took Stella around 3 months. Now I am talking about MUSEUM QUALITY restoration. When I picked them up I couldn't believe my eyes. The picture of my Grandfather, (which was almost torn in half and is the only known picture of him in our family)was nearly pristine! As was the one of my Grandmother. Now these treasures will be able to be passed down for many, many generations. Thank you so much Stella. We are so fortunate to have such an Artist in the Sacramento area. P.S. If you are a good client Perhaps you will be privileged to meet Zeus.

Hello, I would like to share my experience with TAP PLASTICS…read more in Sacramento California. On 09/17/2026 while cleaning my refrigerator, i dropped a lower glass shelf that broke into a million pieces. I called TAP and inquired about having a piece of plastic cut to fit. I was given an VERY FAIR PRICE and then to top it off,I i was told it could happen while I wait. (Envisioning Jesus smiling down on me) So I cleaned up the broke glass, grabbed the plastic surrounding that houses the shelf and shuffled on over to TAP PLASTICS. Upon arrival I was greeted by employee in "training" or so it said on his name tag *PAUL* I would not have know otherwise as he conducted himself like a veteran employee. Paul noticed when I walked in, wearing a surgery recovery boot, quickly brought over a chair for me to to sit in next to the counter (incredibly thoughtful) I introduced myself, that I had called ahead and that I also needed a piece of plastic for an overhead kitchen light. (Had been broke for awhile but since I was going to TAP, now is the time to replace it :)) Paul double checked the measurements I had calculated. Took my 2 piece order, thoroughly and thoughtful explained the process. Paul also said " we will make sure it fits before you leave!" (this guy was reading my mind) Paul took my payment and what seemed like only a few minutes later another gentleman brought me my new items. We fit the new shattered proof piece and it went in like butter. Perfect fit, (I heard angels singing) my days seldom go this smoothly. Just like that, I was off and going. TAP PLASTICS is your go to place for all things plastic. They have a nice store front / showroom with lots of nifty items and supplies to complete your tasks. If you haven't been there, do yourself a favor and stop by. THANKS AGAIN PAUL FOR THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
