They all worked on the card and the results blew me away. I wanted to be able to keep it and look at it forever, but it was fragile and needed expert framing. A friend suggested Artistic Edge, and the rest is history. Jessica spent the best part of an hour with me going over all the various possibilities. The color of the frame, the size, the matting, the various parts next to each other, the weight of what would be the final product. She acted like I was the only person of importance throughout all of this back-and-forth as I changed my mind over and over. Finally I was ready, and she said that it would be ready by X amount of time --- probably a bit sooner. Off I went. WEEKS before the date promised Kathy called and said the artwork was ready. When I arrived and saw it displayed I cried --- it was exactly what I wanted and ever so much more! Kathy talked to me --- and LISTENED --- as though I was the most important person in the world at that moment --- I told her all about who made the sticker card artwork and when and why, and she just listened and smiled and chatted and was wonderful. I took my artwork home, hung it up, and took pictures for all the sticker artists to enjoy. Everything has come out perfectly! This is a beautiful, meaningful, lovely piece of art, in the absolutely perfect frame. Artistic Edge did an awesome job --- they respected the artwork, they respected me, they threw their artistic talents into this, and I feel that at the same time they got a kick out of doing it. I can fully endorse this studio & Greg's work however. I had 2 prints, a larger 24x36 & a 24×16.5" looking to get custom framed. I had a target budget in mind going in, knowing what most other shops charge for similar service. And was glad that Greg's accommodative pricing fell within my expectations. I know I could always go to a store like Michael's for custom framing, but you'll likely never get the quality of workmanship afforded here at Procyon Gallery. 1 man crew with Greg doing it all here in a true craftsman's studio. You might find inch thick dust-bunnies around the store, but don't let that scare you off, lol. Just the sign of dedicated artisan. Not a sterile, impersonal gallery that you might find in more tonier towns. Greg isn't shy offering his opinion on how your art would look best by his eye. But, don't be afraid to stick to your guns and go with the framing schematics that look best to you. And, after the job on my 1st print was complete, he conceded that I had the better eye for that particular project. Street parking's also a little tricky if there's no spots just outside the studio on mid-to-lower Georgia St. I got lucky most times, but there's ample parking behind the building, or just around the corner on Sonoma Blvd. Gallery is closed Sun. & Mon. and closes at 2 on Saturdays. Area is also generally safe during gallery hours. Satisfied customer here, thumbs up.

I thought it was so cool that I got to go behind the counter and pick frame options off the wall - they really have everything you could ever need! We found a matte and frame that worked well with my other degree, which I brought for reference. The whole thing was under $300, which was very reasonable for what I ordered! They also gave me a discount for being a first-time customer and they also offer teacher discounts! The framing was estimated to take 6 weeks, which was a little long. However, the wait is worth it, as they custom-order and shape the frame to your needs. My order was finished in a little less than that timeline, which I appreciated. They also gave me hanging advice and tips for where it would look best. I love how it turned out and will definitely be back when I next have something special to commemorate!
