    Cup $12
    Isabel L.

Love the idea of this place but it's definitely expensive for what it is. They charge $12 for this small cup and it's a very tiny portion. I believe they also charge extra for certain items. Great to have if you're in a pinch and craving some charcuterie but you're definitely just paying for the convenience.

Found this place on Instagram and added to my list of places to hit the next time I was in NYC, which was yesterday! After a matinee of &Juliet, we placed an order online and headed over to pick up our boxes. Everything was so good! The spice habanero jam is a must have as well as their seasonal pomegranate-glazed ricotta! I wish they had one in the DC area b/c I would be a frequent visitor!!!!

Thank you for staying later and making a gorgeous box for us. We loved the meats and cheeses you picked and the olives and jam. A short walk to Washington square park. Perfection.

Such a fun snack/ meal so share with friends! I love that you can pick each item that goes in your box! There's not many seating options but great to bring to the park!

10/10 this was the best little treat to our walk home from Washington sq. Park. The employees were super accommodating and informative. Thank you Max and Christian!

This is the Custom Charcuterie Box from Cured

Okay so me and the fam treked down to the city to have lunch at Wyld in the West Village. After that we walked over to Madmen Espresso on Bleeker. Our main objective was checking out Kured on Thompson. Right in central Greenwich Village near WSPark. So when you walk in the vibe is nice- no tables. Thats okay this was to go. So, you walk up like one would at Subway or Chipotle for example , but the difference is you're purchasing a take out Charcuterie board in a to go box. So you pick your box and start from the left. You tell the person with the box what you would like and they arrange it very nicely. Pick your selections such as fine hams, cheeses, pickled veggies, chutney, crackers, olives etc. It was high end, they let you taste. Check out the spicy dry rub Chipotle cheddar, yum! Friendly and helpful staff, cool street. Will go back. I'm out.

Ok... that was a bit confusing. Seems everything on the menu was extra charge. The staff were not very helpful. But items did look fresh.

Soooo yummy and the staff is so sweet! 10/10 experience! Good portion sizes and not too expensive. Loved.

    Custom board

They also have various meats, pastas, olives, pickled vegetables. Anything you'd need to make a cheese board. Though they also have pre-made boards for when you're in a pinch. They also have butters, oils, sauces, marinades. Fresh breads, honeys, chocolates, coffees and teas. They have cheesemongers throughout the store, just waiting to help you out and find your dream cheeses! They also have a snack counter/small cafe where you can try dishes made with their cheeses (like a Mac n cheese bar, grilled cheese, etc). Murray's also ships cheeses and products. And they have classes to teach you about cheese, wine, and charcuterie!

This class just did not need the standards of other classes I've gone to. The reason I gave this 3-stars is because what you get for $100 is just not worth the price, plus the final product was inedible. The class consists of giving you flour and eggs to make the pasta, then roll it (which was super rushed), a "cheese tasting" (three tiny portions of cheese with some pesto) and unlimited wine (sparking white and red). You then bring the pasta home to cook it (with the instructions to use a fork if you haven't had enough time to roll your dough, which some didn't). I made the pasta when I got home and it was completely inedible as was the person's I went with. The instructor was nice and the room is beautiful, which is why I added a few stars. They're also great about making sure that your wine is filled up. Overall, I would not recommend for this price, especially when the end product was a throwaway.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with nothing but warm hospitality. Our server was incredibly friendly and even asked if we had a show to get to so he could expedite our food. So considerate! The prix fixe was really good value - starter, main, desert AND a bottle of wine for $99! The salad was really tasty, I liked the warm walnuts and the figs added a nice contrast of texture and sweetness. Of the other items in the tasting board, I really enjoyed the Kashkaval cheese. We didn't opt for any add ons/fondue dippers with our fondue, so only had bread. While we did feel full at the end, next time I'd go for an add on for more variety. Highly recommend and can't emphasize the warm hospitality and great service enough.

And because I was looking forward to fondue that day, we decided to go with the regular menu. The base fondue was $24/pp which I think was really reasonable. We ordered: ~ Cheddar & Cider fondue - Cheddar, cider, onion jam (the flavors really complimented well. The cider gave it a nice sweetness to the cheese. I can eat the cheese all day) The fondue was served in a cast iron pot and you get baguette for the dipping. You can pay more for additional add ons but we decided to just stick with the baguette. ~ Two Skewers Plate (Kofte Colorado lamb, herbs, spices & Chicken yogurt, red pepper, herbs, spices) Served with house-made harissa and tzatziki, and a choice of mushroom bulgur or squash caponata. ( We were informed if you don't like olives go with the mushroom bulgur, which we did). Initially I was worried the chicken skewers would be too dry ( as that is the case for a lot of places) but no, the chicken wasn't dry and it was well seasoned. I'm happy that I went. It's a cute little date spot to do fondue.

I don't think they actually milk the goats or wash the rinds, if that's what you're asking. Nor do they have a company retail shop as far as I know, at least not here. Nevertheless, I have had so much pleasure over the years their cheeses in my local shops and restaurants, now called Mitica (meaning "myth") here in the US, that I want to give them a shout-out here. What prompted this was a small sliver of Campo de Montalban I picked up from the "odds and ends" bin at Whole Foods, that happened to be perfectly paired with a bourbon-barrel aged heirloom cider I also bought there, it was a lot like the Spanish cheese Mancheco but more rounded for me with a little funkiness in addition to the nutty taste. Anyway, it was one of those peak cheese moments. Several other Mitica cheeses are on my go-to list, so all I can say is Thank You!!! FWIW they have started to import other mediterranean products like olive oil, chocolate, and so on, but are mostly known for cheese.
