Waterbean is spacious, they have indoor seating as well as covered outdoor seating. I was waited on immediately and asked the barista for his suggestion. Creamer was offered as a self-serve from a pitcher. It certainly felt better than opening 9 creamer cups between two people. Free water was offered at the end of the line, too. So, no waiting for a refill. I also got two pastries to go-- both were spectacular. Sweet in a savory and memorable way, rather than being over-the-top and masking fake-y ingredients with sugar like many places do. The bakers do a wonderful job. Despite the crowd and line, the employees moved quickly and kindly. Pleasantries were still exchanged and things made-to-order were out in a timely manner. The people here work very hard. It's a hectic job but they do it well and they do it without sacrificing small niceties or helpfulness. The interior was nice, too. Tables were kept clean and there was a nice area for little ones to occupy themselves while parents enjoyed their drink and meal. Books, some plushies, and pretend-play toys were there. No tablets or items that could make them hyper. I very much enjoyed my experience after a hard night and morning. Thank you to everyone that works at Cocotte for showing up and staying kind. Yes, the coffee is very affordable BECAUSE all the staff are volunteers. No one is getting paid and they LOVE what they do. All smiles and great service. The proceeds go to local and global missions of the church. Win, win all the way around. The place itself is very spacious. Two levels. The seating areas are comfortable and far enough apart you can have some semiprivacy if you need it. My friend who brought me says she comes here all the time to study (she's in college). All of the staff knew her by name. (love places like that) I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't really speak to the coffee (although my friend says it's pretty good). I am a tea drinker though and they have a variety of flavors, some refresher juice drinks, a few pastries. Please support. The vibe is friendly, relaxed, and everyone behind the bar has been consistently great. One moment really sold me on this place: I accidentally placed a to-go order to the wrong Summit location. Totally my fault. They didn't make it a thing at all--just made my drink on the spot and didn't charge me again. That kind of customer service sticks with you. My usual is a decaf Americano. Simple order, but they nail it every time. You still get that nice richness and "oiliness" you want from good coffee, and you can tell they're using fresh beans. They also recently added a breakfast sandwich that is ridiculously good. Definitely on the decadent side--not an everyday thing--but perfect to split with someone if you're watching calories, or to fully lean into if you're in cheat-meal mode.
