Kung Fu Tea - Bubble Tea Near Me - Fishers, Indiana

They take their boba tea seriously here! Which I appreciate, but also overwhelms me because there are so many options on the menu. I walked in and had to stand to the side to stare at the menu for several minutes, just to figure out what I wanted. There are classic teas, milk teas, slushes, punches, lemonades, yogurts, coffee drinks, seasonal specials. Then you need to decide if you want boba, and if so, what kind? Do you want regular or popping boba? Do you want a milk cap? Cream? Some of the drinks (like the mango slush) come with jelly in it. Do you want the jelly that comes in the drink, or would you prefer it without? Some drinks come hot or cold. Which do you want: Hot or cold? Aghhhhh! There are so many choices. I eventually figured it out and ordered what I thought my children wanted, but then almost screamed when they asked why there were mango chunks in their drink when they only wanted popping boba. Guess what, kid? You got lucky and you got bonus mango jelly in your drink. Congratulations. This Kung Fu Tea is a nice little place to hang out, though. They have board games that you can play at your table, and we played one of them while we waited for our drinks. It took about 10 minutes to receive our drinks because they make the beverages to order. Sometimes, perfection takes time, and you can tell that they pay attention to detail here. read more

Came to this location for the first time and was in and out, got the Taro Slush, the service was fast, not that busy at 6pm on a Sunday. I remembered it being clean and the staff were alright, they were not very welcoming just took your order Taro slush was very good as usual, they were out of a popping bubbles that we wanted read more

I was craving boba while in Fishers, and my friend suggested I make a run to Kung Fu Tea as it is less than a mile from their apartment. The store was easy to locate, with plenty of parking in the lot out front. I was greeted immediately by the friendly staff, and selecting my beverage was easy as the menu is displayed on large screens by the point of sale. The dining room is decorated with modern bold designs, much less delicate than other boba shops around Indy. Its a fun upbeat atmosphere, and they have free wifi. There are bistro tables to sit at but also soft comfy chairs if you want to stay and chat. I ordered the taro milk tea with lychee boba. I was expecting a popping boba but the boba in my drink is hard like regular boba but with a more floral taste. My drink is good, basically what I would expect from any taro milk tea. I will be back again when in Fishers. read more

I am obsessed with bubble tea, but it has to be 'popping bubbles' not regular chewy bubbles aka tapioca! Don't mess it up like me. I prefer the Punch category: orange green tea or the mango green with orange or mango 'popping bubbles'. It gives you a nice spurt of energy. I have downloaded the app to start receiving rewards for frequent orders. But, the app does not allow you to select specific 'popping bubbles, it is limited on app because they don't know what stock is available at the store. I wish they opened earlier to get it on the way to work! They have many coffee options to have for the morning commute. Staff is always friendly and make great suggestions of items to try! read more

The staff was extremely helpful, as the menu is rather intense; I highly recommend the Honey Thai Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba. It's a cute space, with some selfie opportunities! I will for sure be back to try out some other items! read more

Terrible drink. Im been here so many time and a drink was ok. but my last visit is terrible

Was driving by and had to stop, because it says "tea" in the name! Anything saying "tea" is for me! lol. And I wasn't disappointed! I ordered an iced bubble tea with lychee boba, light ice, half sweet. I absolutely love that there are so many customization options! You can pick ice amount, sweetness, etc. the menu has all these little symbols with a legend telling caffeine, ingredients, etc. I love the full disclosure on menus because I have dietary needs and sometimes literally avoid places that don't give any information at all. I feel like businesses making the effort to include these things is an important bonus and shows a consideration for customers! Would certainly recommend to people who love tea, fun drinks, different exotic drink mix-ins and options, or boba! Also as a bonus the barista was very friendly And patient! Since I was totally here on a whim and had never been here before, I was asking a lot of questions, maybe too many, lol, but he was very patient, welcoming, and took the time to answer all of them with a cheery attitude. He acted very grateful for my immense interest in the menu and my business! And took great care in crafting my beverage! Seating was simple tables and chairs with some half booths also. Lots of open space & good natural sunlight, lots of windows. Restrooms were very modern, clean, and comfortable. Individual restrooms, no stalls. read more

For a Saturday afternoon they weren't busy. The employees were friendly and helped me understand my menu options. I ordered the black sesame oolong with half sugar, and whoa was it sweet. I wasn't fond of the milk tea preparation here. The boba consistency was not bouncy, and maybe even undercooked. The drink was too creamy. When I got home I tried to remedy it by adding water to dilute it, which helped a little. I didn't want to waste it. The flavor of the sesame was good though. Next time I might try a tea option instead of their milk tea. read more

So happy to find an awesome new bubble tea cafe in Fishers! This is such a fun treat and there are many different flavor options, toppings, flavors and fun! I love the popping bubbles best! I ordered a delightful passion green tea and added the grape popping bubbles (which is a bit of an up charge, but I prefer popping bubbles over the jellies)! The whole process is so fun, the giant straws you poke in the sealed lid and the fun ingredients! It's worth a visit!! read more

I have had boba in slushiest before but this is my first time trying a boba tea. I tried the Oreo Wow Tea and it was really tasty! It was definitely a treat, I think next time I will try one of their less dessert-y options like the chai or something. The 2 young employees that were in here were amazing! Very knowledgeable! It wasn't very busy but as soon as we walked in the door they were at the register ready to take care of us. I'm excited to hop on the boba tea trend and try some more flavors!! read more

After a hot morning walking around the Fishers Farmers Market & Touch-a-Truck my kiddo and I decided we needed a refreshing boba. Into Apple Maps I went and Kung Fu was the closest... we were off. They have a large Selection of options. My reason for not giving 5 stars is the selection of bursting/popping boba is very limited but with what I ordered none of what they had sounded like a great combo. The girls were sweet. I got the passion fruit tea with the bubbles (chewy boba) and my kiddo got the mango with bursting grape boba. I do like that you can pick your sweetness which is really nice. Most of their options are incredibly sweet. Perfectly refreshing on a hot September day. read more

This place has become one of my new local spots! First, I love the app. Ordering online, exploring the menu and customizing my drinks is now a favorite past time of mine. They offer a lot on their menu so being able to explore it from my phone and order for pick up is great! My personal favorites are the honey lemonade with grape boba and the mango green tea with mango boba. The staff is always very friendly and my pick up service is quick and easy. I AM PUMPED that Kung Fu Tea is in Indiana and down the street from me! I always get Kung Fu Tea when visiting family in San Francisco so super nostalgic and happy to have it here. They offer so much variety from tea, coffee, slushies, smoothies, to what seems like a never ending list of toppings. They have a rewards program too so you can earn free drinks/toppings! They always seem to always have cool perks coming up in the app like $ off or free topping(s). I will definitely be treating myself to a KF tea weekly! read more

*caution bad review. I normally love this place so this was a first for me. I made a kitchen project ouf of it though! When handed bad boba, strain it?! Not sure if anyone has gotten the sesame matcha but it straight up tasted like fish and my cup was only 3/4 full. I'll go back but will never try anything with sesame again. read more

Kung fu tea is a nice boba shop to stop by! I ordered the almond milk tea with bubbles. Though I asked for less sweetness, I still found my drink to be very sweet, which may be more of a personal taste issue than a restaurant issue. The only issue that I had was that when I asked for a water, I was told that it would be a charge and was given a bottle of water. I would have liked a regular cup of water, but other than that I did enjoy my tea. read more

I love tea, hot or cold, but I've always been a little unsure about boba. I decided to try Kung Fu Tea to see what it was all about. I found out that Kung Fu Tea is actually a chain with a large following. When ordering you can customize in several ways from flavor, to ice, to sweetening and more! I got an iced honey green tea with mango popping bubbles. They have fancy machines that mix the drink and then when it is finished they call your number over a mic system. The flavor of my tea was outstanding! It didn't taste artificial and had powerful flavor. I am looking forward to trying other flavors in the future. Don't miss out on this bubble tea powerhouse now in Fishers! read more

This is a chain and the quality is average, the service was average. The variety is really cool and I enjoy seeing how wide the menu is however the boba doesn't taste as it could be, was very hard; too undercooked it or old. Not sure if it was just this but I'll have to try them again as their businesses model seems to work with how many locations they have. read more

Very fun & tons of options! The only downside is a lot of their drinks are wayyyy too sweet. Thankfully they allow you to pick the sugar level: 0%, 30%, 50%, 70%, 100%, 120%. I got the Kirby Fruity Flurry at 70% sugar with grape popping boba. I wish I'd picked 30% or less because unfortunately the crazy amount of sugar made it nearly unpalatable. It was very fun and cute, but I could almost feel my teeth rotting. Despite that, I do intend on going back and trying something with much less sugar. read more

I love boba! Had to try Kung Fu Tea, as I pass by there all the time. So I stopped for an afternoon treat. We were the only ones in the place, and had questions. There were 2 young men working, but they weren't much help. Every question about menu items was answered with "uhhh, I don't know" which was a but annoying, but I ended up getting the pineapple sunshine tea, less sugar, with Nata jelly. It was good, with fresh pineapple pulp and the jelly was the perfect chewy consistency. For the price, I'll take it. And the place is a cute hangout! There's comfy chairs with a decorated wall that would make some really cute pics. read more

Family liked their drinks. Mine left a little to be desired. I got the Cocoa Cream Wow, one of their best sellers. It was really heavy on the milk. It had a slight cocoa powder taste about it, but it was not a wow. I get the fact that this place isn't American sugar saturated drinks, so it isn't that. I do like these types of tea drinks, yet this one had no flavor. The dining area was ok. It was inviting, but the tables & chairs were not clean. There was no trash, it was just a little dirty, Needing some kind of liquid cleaner, or soap & water. Plus, the furniture, that needed cleaned, was not quality. Flimsy plastic. The staff was very neutral. Nothing real positive, but nothing real negative. There was actually no one in the place when we came in. They were out back doing something. We saw them come straight in & started taking, & making, our order. I don't have to go back, but would. if my family wanted to. read more

Service has been good every time I've been there. The young people working are knowledgeable about their product and can answer ingredients questions (such as dairy or lactose free, etc). Incidentally they do have lactose free milk options but not dairy free (you can get tea without any milk if you'd prefer). The original bobas have been just a touch chewy and couple times, but the last 3 times I've been there, the original bobas have been really soft--sooo good! I've liked everything I've tried so far: the green milk tea (made with lactaid powder) with original bobas and no sugar, ginger milk strike (also made with lactaid), and their chai milk tea without sugar-which is also really good. When you order, you look at the menu (which can overwhelm you at first with all the options!) and tell them what size drink, then what kind of drink, any extras--bobas, poppers, red beans, etc--how much ice, how much sweetener (some drinks come with a couple shots of brown sugar or other sugary syrup, but I'm not much of a fan for really sweet drinks. So it's great that they make it to order. Also noteworthy is the Asian atmosphere. It's airy, minimalist, and pleasant. There's even a small shrine in the corner. Very clean. The restroom was very clean and properly stocked as well. Almost forgot--the store is well-situated on the corner near several other restaurants with plenty of parking, several entrances into the parking lot, and a traffic light making it easy to get to even during rush hour. If you love bubble tea, then I definitely recommend this establishment. read more

When I asked a couple friends about this place they would tell me about flavor "Bubbles" that you could add to your drink. I'd heard they were good but they tell me about the flavors which were all sweet. I don't like sweet drinks so I had not tried it. Finally today I went in and asked about plain black tea and asked about the bubble flavors. I got black tea with honey bubbles, which were actually not very sweet at all. I love the drink! The bubbles are fun to pop! The lady working let me try different things which was very nice. After I got my drink I tried the aloe vera "jelly" topping. They are little cubes of aloe vera. I will get those next time. While I was in Aruba, I had those aloe vera cubes in Champagne and they were so good and refreshing! They would be good in tea as well. read more

Overall my Lady and I have had about 4 check-in at this establishments. Not easy to take photos of our teas as you can food, We have tried a few of there drinks so far, can not remember them all off the top my head. I can I will say all experiences have been great except our very last visit on Saturday May 7, 2022. There was a glitch on their mobile app that places 2 orders of the same single order by mistake, so my Lady phones in as we placed the order from the parking lot. The staff member who picked up said they would look into it and phone us back, 20 to 30 minutes pass, no phone back, like stated we were in parking lot after placing the order, so my Lady goes in to see if anything was done, rather than make a smooth transaction, fix the issue and etc, the person argues with my Lady that it is impossible for something like that to happen and instead makes bigger mistake and hands my lady two items that wee the same rather than what she and I ordered, to where my lady has to have the correct it again. For the Staff member to staff member to say their software / tech does not have issues, apparently has not worked with computers long enough, I should know working in and around IT field. Rather than argue with each and every customer that brings this to your attention, why not let your manager know and just look into it, it might just solve some headaches for both your company and your customers. Overall we like the products they sell, so we will be back. read more

So glad KFT opened up closer to where I live. I usually travel to Castleton for Boba tea mainly because they have Nata Jelly which is one of my favorites in Boba tea and this place has them and it's fresher! Boba tea is my favorite I recommend this place cause it's nice quiet and quick to pick up something to drink especially BOBAA

My wife and daughter's are big fans of bobba tea , and we found this place in fisher while there today. I don't like tea or coffee, so I'm not that impressed with bobba. I like the slush/smoothie or jucies with the popping pearls or jellies, just sayin. The girls liked it but missed the variety they are used to. Same for me, the selection was OK, but I missed the variety options I could mix-N-match the fruits the way I would like to and was forced to take it the way it was on the menu. What the girls got, they said they enjoyed. I believe they got the coffee milk tea with regular bobba, rosehip milk tea with wow bobba, and a kung-fu milk tea with wow bobba. I got the lychee with mango popping pearls read more

This bubble tea has a wonderful flavor. In this restaurant there are so many options to choose from. We plan to come back soon.

Drinks are good but the customer service is atrocious. This location is always operated by children that are rude, disrespectful, and have no understanding of helping their customers within their retail setting. Drinks were ordered via the app, made incorrectly, and we were asked to pay for new drinks. Looking for another boba place, as I doubt that we will be back. read more
