This Smoothie King is the nearest distance to me. Therefore, I go to this particular location very often due to my Smoothie King addiction lol. Seriously though, the shop is usually very clean. Even when there are multiple customers, it normally doesn't take very long to receive your order. With that being said, the atmosphere is fast-paced. There are a lot of teenagers/young adults that work here (2-3 at a time), and the type of service given there fluctuates. Sometimes the employees are inviting and sometimes they lack some of the personal skills that you would regularly expect at your local Smoothie King. To be honest, you get used to it. I don't mind because the smoothie is a hit 9.5 times out of ten! I always order the Peanut Power Plus- Strawberry and add blueberries. It is delicious and they always make it right. I was so pleased with my experience here! I didn't even know what smoothie king was since I'm from California, but my friend told me we had to try it while we were passing through Indiana on a road trip. The store smells and looks super clean when you walk in. The service here is so friendly and it definitely creates a positive atmosphere for customers. Nika was so sweet to us and helped us both pick our drinks based on what we were craving. This was awesome because I definitely get choice paralysis. I've heard so much about smoothie king and honestly it was all it was hyped up to be and more!! I'm so devastated they don't have this chain on the west coast because lowkey this place be better than Jamba Juice!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful and matched our level of excitement when they found out we were visiting from California! I got a kindness in a cup smoothie that donates a dollar to a charity organization and it was absolutely delicious. I have no idea what was in what I was drinking but it was PHENOMENAL. I was truly speechless for 10 min! The vibe of the place is interesting though because I didn't think it would give a vibe similar to a smoothie stand in a gym where it feels very health focused and clean. This location is so inconsistent. It's all dependent on who is working as to what you're going to get. Also while they are forcing us to wear masks and social distance their employers wear masks on their chins (see attached photo) with no coverage of mouth or nose. So this review is for sometime this summer in 2021. I think we have been here 1 or 2 times only. Overall though the smoothies we have gotten were always great. The reasoning for 4 stars over 5 is because when people were suppose to still be wearing a mask, this location decided not to. Because my current health state I take the serious. I understand now that some are vaccinated they have to make their own judgement call, but back then their was a mandate and this location was not paying attention to the mandate at given time. Overall the smoothies though ate great and we would purchase from them again. So far I have tried a mango, I believe a strawberry banana, and my partner two different times I think one was with pineapple and do not recall the other. I will also say they provide awesome customer service, they do answer any questions, especially when new, if they do not have something they can try and provide something close to what you are looking for. read more

First time going to Smoothie King in Indianapolis. I've been in Nashville, TN, so hopefully more will pop up across Indianapolis area in general. The staff was very friendly. Staff member Shanika (shoutout to her) definitely expressed the most popular and favorite smoothies among customers, and she makes a great Lemon Twist Strawberry smoothie as fast as possible. The prices are a lil high....a small ran me about $6. Also each extra booster/enhancer to your smoothie is about a dollar. They give 5 star service, but I knocked a star for prices. Suggestion, maybe have a happy hour smoothie time, just a thought :) read more

I'm so glad that there is a smoothie king back in Indy! I had my first visit yesterday morning. The two girls working were super attentive and helpful. I was the only person in the smoothie king at the time so my order only took a few minutes. The location was super clean - in the main area as well as the restrooms. First timer. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was a little overwhelmed by all the menu options but the staff was great with answering my questions. Loved my immune booster smoothie. The protein I added was well mixed and no "clumps" of protein powder like I've had other places. The place was very clean and all 3 staff members were using good mask discipline, which would typically is a reason for me to leave many places these days before even ordering if I don't see that, so kudos to the staff and the staff training on this issue. Ok never been to a smoothie king before so I wanted to try it! We let the cashier know before we ordered that we have never been to one before. She was so sweet to us. She helped us make our choices and was super patient with us. They have a huge variety of different smoothies. Mostly are very healthy options. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because i'm not that impressed with the taste. I think maybe I just haven't had real healthy smoothies before. Just not my cup of tea. read more

This is a great place for a light lunch or for something to hold you over till the next meal. It's 90 degrees today and an odd time to eat so we stopped here. I'm a huge fan of their smoothies. They are a little pricey but you get a ton. The medium is definitely more like a large or extra large. If you're careful, you can get a smoothie that's relatively low in calories and sugar. This location was super fast and empty. We were in and out in 5 minutes. That rarely happens, if ever, at the Carmel location. read more

I was a bit skeptical going in after I reviewed the menu online.... Everything is LOADED with sugar. I'm not talking like 10g; I'm talking 50+ grams of SUGAR in one drink.... that's horrible. I went in planning to "build my own" but I wanted to try one with veggies and little sugar. I told that to the guy working, and he suggested the Carrot Kale Smoothie - it was delicious! My date got the Mangosteen and it was also very good, but loaded with sugar! The staff were very helpful, friendly, and nice - the reason for such a high review. My daughter and I stopped in on the way to the eye doctor. This was the best smoothie I've had in decades. The only ones I've had better were in the Bay Area SF. The downside? The price. I'm a bit of a foodie and I'm always willing to pay premium for the highest quality foods. But I died a bit inside when I got two smoothies-- one for a kid-- and it was hovering near the ten dollar range. Ouch. It's weird, but if they had at least a few cheap options, I'd likely come in more often and it's quite possible that I'd pay premium for the higher end smoothies. But because there were no cheaper options at all, I felt trapped. The kids smoothies were a reasonable price, but the staff made it clear they were only meant for kids. I THINK they mentioned they'd soon have a daily special at a reduced price -- a price that just touches the high end of what I'd willingly spend there and feel good about it. I've frequented this Smoothie King well over 50 times with no issues and decent service for an ok smoothie. I always take my son on Friday after school for their $5 special. Today's experience was enough to make me consider likely not ever going back. As I approached the counter, it was very evident that the stores "radio" wasn't playing and an employee had a BlueTooth speaker blaring music that should never be heard in a public place. Mind you I'm there with my 7yr old. Less then one minute I'd heard over 5 f-bombs, a "suck my d@&#", and a " hoes be getting F'd in the..." from the lyrics. It wasn't an unedited radio play artist, it was well beyond that in terms of vulgarity. I told the cashier it wasn't appropriate and please turn it off. He passively acknowledged what I said and brushed it off as another employees speaker and he was playing it. The employee playing the music came by and went to the back. Meanwhile another minute passed and the music continued. I told him please not to think I'm dumb, there's a button on top of the speaker and turn it off. He picked up the speaker and returned a puzzled look and seconds later the employee that's been playing the music now hidden in the back changed the song. Awful experience and a great example of how it really takes one experience to ruin future biz. I can get the same quality smoothie most places nearby. Totally unacceptable. read more

I used to come here often but I recently discovered the locations in Carmel and Fishers (116th), where customer service is MUCH better. The rude staff here screwed up my drink on a regular basis and I'm not paying $9 for a horrible smoothie. There is one really sweet girl that worked here left a while back and I don't blame her. This location needs more staff and employees like her. Overall though, Smoothie King is a fantastic place . If you've never been to one, you are missing out! Feeling tired? Try the Coffee High Protein (almond mocha, add raspberry, is perfection). Sweet tooth calling? Get the Pineapple Surf - you'll feel like you're on a tropical island. Vegan? The Mango Kale tastes too good to be healthy but it is actually great for you! Starving? Try a meal replacement, like the Yogurt Delight (made with bananas, add peanut butter, you'll thank me later). There are skinny options to cut out some sugar and calories and higher caloric smoothies if you're bulking up. Download the app, get coupons, earn points for more coupons, get a free smoothie for your bday, etc. On Friday's, 32oz smoothies are $5 ($6 for meal replacement smoothies), which is a great deal for how big/filling they are. read more

Stopped by this SK location because of its convenient location near the grocery stores nearby. The store offers a variety of smoothies and the sizes come in 20 oz, 32 oz and 64 oz. The store was clean and well kept. Seating would seem to host less than a dozen customers. There were supplements and other health foods at this location but I didn't pick up anything. First visit was simple and quick. Order came out within minutes and the employees behind the counter seemed to work very efficiently to get the orders out. Most recently, there were only two employees, and the service was a lot slower. After ordering, a line quickly built up and a wait over 10-15 was announced. I believe this was the cause of the employee forgetting my order and made my smoothie in a 20 oz rather than 32 oz. After mentioning to him that the size was incorrect, he placed the contents of the 20 oz in a 32 oz cup, added the residual from the blender into the new cup and handed it to me. I didn't think that was the appropriate response. Unfortunately the wait didn't allow him to make a new smoothie or more of my order. This is why I'm giving this shop 3 stars. read more

I love coming here! It's so delicious and the smoothies can surely fill you up! I typically get a 20oz because the 32oz would be wayyyy to much for me. I love the activator smoothie.
