You walk in and can build a bowl, order a smoothie or choose from one of their recipes, which is what I did. The portion sizes are pretty large and I could have eaten half the amount they gave me! These don't really keep so you have to eat it all or toss the rest because they'll melt unless you live close. I thought they were just fine. I can make something exactly like this at home, so it wouldn't be a place I'd frequent if I lived close to one. As of now, their closest location is about 35 minutes from me. Really good. I was the only guest at the time - around 10:45 AM. The space is small, yes... but I also don't think it needs to be any larger. The menu is fun, the fruit is fresh, the granola is light and crispy, the banana wasn't brown at all (pretty rare). I was looking for something light for breakfast and this was perfect. Parking wasn't bad, although I can imagine it might get a little more challenging once the weather shifts and there are more people out. I didn't check around for additional parking, but street parking was easy today. I loved all the add-on options, but I just opted to keep it simple with the Aloha and added banana. Very good. The staff are kind and aware of allergy procedures which allows me to feel trusting that I won't get sick from eating. One of the tastier açaí places!!! The beach bowl is my favorite thing on the menu. But they are a little pricey and I believe they're too pricey to not be having thier brand on the bag anymore. It got pretty busy around lunch time. They do have a few seats outside and a rail or 2 to sit at inside if needed. I ended up getting a beach bowl with peanut butter and cocoa chips added along with a bag of oat balls. The peanut butter really added a nice texture and 'heft' to the bowl. Okay okay. Try the PBJ bowl - get it "James' Way". Omg it is sooooo good! I definitely didn't get the best thing on the menu last time I visited. This PBJ bowl is everything. I love that they use really fruit and milk in the base. Other smoothie bowl places usually just use a base that comes out of a freezer bag. I think this is why the calorie count in these bowls is soo much lower compared to other places. It tastes real! I also like that they let you pick your milk and there are so many topping add ins. Their peanut butter? To die for! Last time I visited while they were still super new. It seems like they really got a groove on now, our bowls were ready pretty quickly. Such a good experience with Rush Bowls! I took my mom for a healthy quick breakfast. She ordered the Power Bowl with low fat milk and blueberries and I ordered the PB&J bowl with oat milk. Both were delicious! Normally smoothies are packed with ice, but not these! You can see as they're building them they are loaded with frozen fruit, milk, frozen yogurt, and granola.
