I stood in line while one of the employees simply stood there without acknowledging me or offering to help. It wasn't until another customer walked in that she finally came over to take my order. During the ordering process, she never asked what size smoothie I wanted and automatically charged me for the largest size, which would not have been my choice. The music playing in the lobby was also not appropriate for the customer environment. Overall, the customer service was disappointing. This spot is a must try. I will say we drove past it the first time. It sits on the side street, not the Main Street. This is the best açaí bowl in Indiana! The fruit was so fresh! It was also refreshing to eat; Açaí is cool and a great option for a hot day. The strawberries were very fresh, which doesn't always happen this time of year. We called our order in and was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. When we arrived at the 20 minute mark they were finishing our order up. There was a wait for those just walking in. So, I recommend calling your order in. The size is somewhat small for the price. Our two açaí bowls with a $2 tip was a little over $27. There is no place to eat in. It's carry out only. Pure-trition is such a hidden gem. I stumbled upon this great smoothie and juice bar about two weeks ago after looking for a smoothie place after my workout. The location stumped me at first since it's behind the Smoke Shop, but I saw the flowing 'Smoothie' sign on the corner. This place is Black, female owned and works alongside another local Black-owned vegan kitchen for their soups and pot pies. They have proper PPE/masks/gloves, distancing enforced/floor markers, and sanitizer. So far I've tried a few of the soups (all vegan and delicious, but they rotate! The fruit on top was super fresh and I loved the crunch from the granola and goji berries. The açaí was creamy and not too sweet. I have now been back here 3 times in one week. I first tried the Berry Açaí Bowl. It was so delicious. The fruit was fresh, granola was crunchy and the smoothie was delicious! I also got a Power Punch Power Potion (a mini juice power shot), just what I needed to get me going in the morning. My second visit I brought my daughter and we both ordered the Chocolate Peanut Smoothie. We wanted something healthy but chocolate. It definitely hit the spot. Not too sweet but not too bitter. The blend of the dates, peanut butter, almond milk and cacao totally masked the flavor of the banana which is great because while I like bananas I don't want a strong taste of it with my chocolate smoothie. So here we are again for day 3 this week lol. We were actually headed in a different direction but decided to veer off to get a smoothie on this beautiful Sunday. Depending on how busy it is, you can expect a little wait (about 10-15 min), so that why I gave 4 stars. I would say 4.5 stars.
