Life-changing magic juice (almost!!). This juice is my happy splurge and my go-to when treating myself. A bottle runs at about $7-$8 a pop and is WORTH IT. Here's why: These juices are PACKED with incredibly important nutrients, vitamins, minerals - everything important your body needs. They use live, raw ingredients (the good parts of the fruits/vegetables you eat, that becomes minimized when cooked). When you're not getting these ingredients to the full, you're not doing any benefits from your body. I love snagging a good Simplicity juice and going to work. Talk about an energy boost. Holy refreshing juice goodness! Yep, I said it. This juice is heavenly. While I live in Ohio and can't really get to their retail space, I have tracked it down and I'm so glad I can find it here. I usually pick it up from the Kroger down the street, however I've had the pleasure of enjoying Simplicity Juice on multiple occasions. Whether it's just juice or mixed together with a spirit for a fun cocktail, it's always a five-star in my book. On top of filling my body with fruits and vegetables, and tons of vitamins and nutrients, every time I drink a bottle I know I'm supporting a local, female-owned business. Ahhh, the power of a bottle of Simplicity Juice. Packed with nutrients and made with love I've had the pleasure of experiencing Simplicity in many occasions and most recently I purchased several bottles from the Kroger location downtown (note that they are sold at dozens of Kroger locations throughout the state as well as Market District). My personal favorite flavor is the one with banana, avocado, and probably the one that most people would shy away from thanks to its appearance but it packs the most flavor and it's very filling. I used to think that juices were ridiculously priced until I bought a juicer and tried making orange juice at home one day. I tried the juice for the first time at an employee appreciation event my work hosted. I ordered orange heaven because I heard i usually chose orange juice as my breakfast drink of choice. I'll be honest, my first couple sips, I was not a fan. I felt like the carrot taste really overpowered the orange and other flavors. Not sure if it settled in or shook as I went on, but after the first couple drinks, it continued to grow on me, and I ended up actually really enjoying the drink. The nutritional values were very surprising with just how much good stuff was packed in. I was a little surprised by the sugar count, but I think all the good outweighed that. I am a picky eater / drinker, so a positive review of a healthy drink like this from me, is a big deal because I do not usually try much in that realm, but I am glad I did this time. read more

After seeing Simplicity Cold Pressed Juices on Fox59 with Sherman I knew I wanted to give it a try. I have never really be a "juice" person but was quickly becoming interested in the health benefits. On my visit I met Molly. What a doll! She was so kind and sweet. She let me try several different juices and talked about the benefits of each. I left with a bottle of Fat Burner, a bottle of Lean Elixir and a Betty Bar. I must say though I was a tough choice to make because every single one was delicious. I loved both products I bought. The Lean Elixir was very refreshing after a trail walk. The Fat Burner definitely provided an extra boost to my day. The Betty Bar was fabulous and helped with my sweet tooth cravings. These products can also be found at a few local retailers. I know I found them at the Boone Village Kroger in Zionsville. I mention this because finding the cute shop was a little tricky. Simplicity was, for the longest time, a business I thought that was mass-produced and just put on the shelves at stores like Kroger and what not till I realized that they're actually made here in SoBro! What I love about Simplicity is the variety. I don't agree fully with juice cleansing as I feel that your body has the tools already to "detox" but what I love about Simplicity is that they have tons of options. Every now and then, my body is craving a nice, local, organic green juice, full of veggies and maybe one or two fruits to balance out the bitter greens. Simplicity has it. Other times my body is craving the nutrients of other fruits/veggies that I don't normally see in the stores. Simplicity has it. The one thing that always held me back from purchasing these juices were the prices. They can be quite expensive, so it's definitely a "treat myself" type of product. The business owner and staff are always so friendly and helpful, especially to Yelpers! Next time you're in the area by their shop, stop by and say hey. True story. I met Simplicity Holistic Health founder Beth Smith in the parking lot outside Simplicity's Northside office as I was leaving from a nearby dental appointment where I've been on a months long adventure of self-improvement. If you've ever gone by the front door of Simplicity, you've undoubtedly felt what I felt - a burst of energy and a natural curiosity. So, when I saw Beth, whose name I didn't know at the time, unloading what appeared to be juices I couldn't help but watch the process a bit. If you've ever actually met her, then you also know that she's along the lines of a spiritual force of nature. That first day, she looked at me and immediately asked "Would you like a couple juices?" I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I have a life philosophy of allowing for acts of kindness so I said "Sure." I proceeded to get into my vehicle, a slow process for someone in a wheelchair at times, and after a few minutes was preparing to leave not quite sure if I should actually. Before long, she walked over to my car and handed me a couple of her juices, the Green Mean and a Wheatini. If you know me, and I can picture Beth shaking her head, I'm a bit of a junk food junkie. As I read the ingredients after I got home, I thought "There's no way." Still, there's that whole unresolved kindness issue of mine so I felt obligated - after all, she'd "given" these to me and anything less than trying them was disrespectful. Yeah, I'm weird. I tried them. You know what? I liked them. A LOT. These are cold-pressed juices that can be used for cleansing or hydration or nutrition or just because they're really darn good. If you visit the Simplicity website, you'll see all the varieties. You'll also see lots of great information, a great thing if you're a relative novice to this sort of thing like me. I e-mailed her through the website that evening to simply say "Thank you." I think that somewhat surprised her and sort of kicked off a mutual admiration society as I learned more about her background and about Simplicity and she learned more about my disability and outreach efforts. Now then, as has been noted, Simplicity products are locally made and TRULY made with good and healthy ingredients that don't come cheap. Quite honestly, they're not products I can afford on a regular basis. The juices, which you can now find around town in a variety of healthy dining outlets and grocery stores, are typically priced in the $9-10 range per bottle. There is some financial incentive for buying them grouped according to their functions. In addition to its products, also including Betty Bars and supplements, Simplicity offers colon hydrotherapy, infrared sauna and cleansing workshops. Beth, who goes by Betty amongst those who know her, can often be found around town promoting Simplicity and supporting special including her recent support of my own effort, wheeling 122 times around Monument Circle in my wheelchair that was aided greatly by Simplicity's hydrating juices. As someone who has been contemplating Reiki training, I was intrigued to learn that Beth is a Reiki practitioner, certified raw food chef and instructor, master juicer, board certified by the U.S. Association of Drugless Practitioners, a certified holistic health counselor, and a licensed closed colon hydrotherapist. Simplicity may not be as affordable as I'd like but, quite simply, it works and, as it says on the bottle it really is "prayed upon and made with love." read more

I absolutely love the juice! Especially Fat Burner, it tastes so good while really helping out your body. I haven't gotten to try all of them, but would absolutely recommend that one or the Lean Elixir. Pro: you can buy Simplicity at the grocery store, which is super convenient! Con: I work 8-5, so I have never been able to go into the store since it's closed outside of my work hours and on the weekends.
