My friend and I stopped by to pick up the viral "Dubai" chocolate bar. The shop has no seating inside, and the decor is simple with a clear display case showcasing all the offerings. At $4.99 per bar, the Dubai chocolate bars were a steal! They do melt quite quickly, so if you plan to travel with them in warmer weather, be sure to keep them cool. The bar had a delightful balance of crunchy kadayif, pistachio paste, and chocolate. The flavours blended together well and it wasn't too sweet. We also grabbed soft kunafa to share. It wasn't too sweet either, and though this is the first time trying non-rispy kunafa, I loved it. It had a great balance of cheesiness and sweetness. Next time, we might try the kunafah sandwich (according to the friendly lady working there, it's a popular breakfast in Lebanon).

The white chocolate was really good I loved the hazelnut but the milk chocolate was ... well.. let's just say I bit into it halfway through and I bit down On a hard ass seed Im not sure what type of seed you guys can be the judge of that but a very dense seed that could've broken my tooth if I would have bit down on it any harder thank god I like eating my chocolate slowly ..

You might come for the baklava chocolate pistachio crunch bar thingy (and you won't be blamed for buying one...or two...or ten... they're fairly priced, freshly made, decadent but crispy and light) per the latest viral trend, but the name of the shop is Kunafa's so yeah, you gotta get the kunafa. For as straightforward and seemingly unimaginative the name is, the Kunafa is out of this world and ranks among the best I've ever had in my life. For a very reasonable price, you can get an entire round of it that can feed upwards of 30 people. The Kunafa comes out hot, ooey gooey melty cheesy inside, and perfectly sweet and crunchy on top. They even add another layer of syrup I think to give it that extra crunch. The service leaves only a little to be desired. A coffee I'd ordered was forgotten and I had to remind them. Placing an order over the phone was somewhat difficult, there was maybe too much mic feedback or background noise or difficulty understanding one another's words because when I arrived it seemed like we ordered one thing but they made another, so I had to wait for a few minutes for the correct order. They were gracious about it though, so no harm done. The shop is a little small but I came at the right time. There was hardly a line, the cashier kept it flowing fast, but never rushed or was short with any customer. As long as there's not a lot of people, there's a few stools on the bar that you could settle yourself down on and sip coffee with your dessert. If I had the time to sit there, I'd probably end up sampling one piece of everything. It all looked so amazing, and unlike most bakeries that seem to make whiny in the morning and leave the goods out for the day, here I was happy to see them churning out the goods constantly. Yes, kunafa's lives up to the hype!

Given the hype of the. "Dubai" chocolate bars, I had to find a place to try one. They were reasonably priced and tasted amazing. I recommend eating it at the store if it is a sunny day as it will melt. This meant that I had chocolate for breakfast but no complaints there.

It's been such a long time since I've had high quality & authentic kunafa/knafeh and I'm so glad I came here to satisfy my craving! I ordered two soft kunafas and was given a complimentary roll (I forgot the name oops) by one of the workers which I thought was super sweet. The girls working at the front were super nice and I love how fresh everything tasted! Kunafa was warm and had just the right balance of dough, cheese, and syrup. They have lots of options to choose from as well and seems really popular with local families. Would definitely come back and recommend for others to try :)

If you are in the mood for some Kunafa, this is the place for you. Came by post dinner for some dessert, it was fairly busy. There are some chairs there so you can enjoy your dessert immediately while it's still warm. They had a variety of options. The most popular was zunad al zit (lady fingers) because that what we came for and it literally sold out right before our eyes. We opted to get kunafa instead. It's fresh, and perfectly sweet even without the syrup in my opinion.

When I went to the Middle East about 20 years ago, I ate a great deal of a dessert called knafeh. And ever since then, I've been trying to find someplace in the GTA that serves a comparable version. Kunafa's comes as close as I've tried. It's a small joint with limited seating but we managed to snag a couple of stools. We wound up sharing an order of the Kunafa Kishna ("Kishna-style dough with sweet gooey cheese and warm syrup"), and even though it came with extra syrup, we ended up not using it. It's really, really good. It's got this cheesy filling that works so well when combined with the crispy shell and sweet syrup. And it tasted hot and fresh, which only enhanced the experience. I think it's safe to say I'll be eating at Kunafa's many more times in the future.

Their authentic Middle Eastern sweets are truly divine! I came for the viral Chocolate Pistachio Kunafa bar which was absolutely delicious! I hope they make it a permanent menu item. As great as the food is, the service is impeccable! I'll definitely be making return visits!

Staff was nice and the food everything tasted fresh. Nutella and Biscoff Baklava where amazing.

In late July, our team had a summer event at Claw Land, which Yelp also introduced me to. I suggested that we come to this cafe afterwards for a drink. It was a seven-minute drive away. This cafe's entrance is on the left of Foodie North. There was lots of parking outside. I drove two of my colleagues over here. We got out of my car and walked in. It was nice seeing a couch and more seating. It was all moved out for our Yelp event less than a couple of weeks back. The Yelp event indicated that we'd vote for a new drink that would be permanently on the menu. I decided to ask the two women behind the counter whether the aurora pêche (sparkling peach) drink was available yet. They looked clueless. They looked at me as if I was not an earthling. I guess not. I hadn't lost my mind. Jane, the owner, wasn't there. She would have known. There were Yelp-branded glasses on the bookshelf, so this event wasn't a figment of my imagination. There were eleven of us. One of my friends got the Oreo ice cream milk tea. He loved it. I got a large peach strawberry oolong tea (no sugar and less ice) with coconut jelly. It was excellent. It hit the spot after a fun time playing claw games. My other friend got a mango green tea. She was so happy with this drink. Yay! It was nice that everyone on the team loved what they had ordered. My manager tends to trust my judgment and got the same drink that I did. No complaints. Nice! My other colleague ordered a mango coconut milk tea with coconut jelly. She loved it so much that she ordered another one and three other teas for her family before she left. Wow! If you need to use the washroom, you head over to Foodie North next door. It was clean. The eatery was also cool to peruse. This place accepts debit and credit cards. We had a great time caping off our summer work event here. It's a good cafe to get bubble tea and more, and hang out. Located around back from Foodie North, this bbt place is also connected to the Chinese restaurant…read more After speaking to Jane, the owner, Meeko Meeko has been opened since January. It seems to have a flow of students as they were offering a studen special. I don't frequent bbt places because I find it pricey, PLUS I'm not a fan of fake fruit powders or tea mixes. Instead, I prefer to make my own at home with actual tea leaves/bags. However, after speaking with Jane, she told me that her tea is actually sourced from Taiwan and the coffee she sourced is from a local, Toronto roaster. So both tea/coffee options are legit. After some discussion of what I was in the mood for, I took Jane's recommendation of the Creme Brulee milk tea. This custard topping is also made in-house with actual vanilla beans. And Jane took the liberty of not adding any extra sugar to the tea itself as the topping already contains sugar. Overall, if I were to stop for bbt, I'd opt for Meeko Meeko as opposed to other places esp those big chains. I prefer to support local, small businesses AND the quality of the product is better!

It was my first time coming here and they didn't make me feel rushed however, the patron behind me definitely did. Regardless I had great client service. She recommended me her favourite pastry, which I purchased along with some coffee, of course. Coffee flavours were delicious. I honestly think about it a lot. To be honest, I wish there was a location near me. Thank you for an amazing experience.

The place is great for a catch-up session with friends or a quick, quiet coffee break. Toffee Crunch Cold Foam Latte (5/5) was the standout for me. It wasn't overly sweet as I thought it would be. It was creamy and smooth. The toffee notes were prominent throughout every sips which goes well with the espresso. I enjoyed it a lot. I would order it again if it's still on the menu (it's a seasonal drink). French Toast Shaker (3/5), although sounds dreamy, had a slight hint of French toast, cinnamon and maple. I was expecting the French toast flavour profile to be a stronger. The drink was still refreshing. I would recommend this spot and I'd come back again and try out other drinks/food. The service was efficient and friendly.

We walked in and I was immediately impressed by how vast and spotless the place was. This is one enormous place. There's a ton of seating in the main area, and if that's not enough, there's a whole other seating area around the corner. Everything looked really tasty but we decided to try a couple of savory pastries, both of which were delicious and fresh. For my drink, I went with the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew ("Cold brew coffee with vanilla and topped with sweet cream"), which certainly quenched my thirst and need for a pick-me-up. I want to single out the staff, too. Everybody was super friendly and helpful, and the manager even stopped by our table and offered our daughter a complimentary bear-shaped madeleine. Paris Baguette is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. We'll definitely be returning.

They have deli sandwiches in their fridge and the Harvest Chicken sandwich was delicious. The Mochi donuts are a good atyempt and mimicing their asian counterparts but was way too greasy. The traditional sugared twist was better. They also have full barista services and lots of seating. Great place to pick up something for a dinner party as they have lovely boxes and present well. Staff was very friendly. Prices are steeper than other local bakeries so keep this in mind.
