    Steamed rice

The service was pick up and I am happy to report that all sauces were in my bag. No sauce was missing. Missing sauce sends one into a rage. My hibachi shrimp was delicious. The shrimp were big and flavorful. The rice was perfect. The vegetables were over flowing. Now, my egg rolls were overcooked, nearly burnt to me. I don't like my egg rolls cooked this long. Either the cook forgot or these were refried. Either way, I was not happy.

Ordered four rolls and all were delicious. Interior was clean and the waitstaff were very attentive. The only thing that I would have liked is if all the rolls came out at the same time but that's not a deal breaker for a lower rating. Price of rolls was good too.

We stopped at Komo Sushi for a quick lunch. Egg rolls were served warm with good dipping sauce. We got the lunch sushi specials which were reasonably priced, and came with both soup and salad. The Miso soup was very good quality, and the salad was cool, crisp and delicious with tangy dressing. Sushi rolls came out quickly with friendly service. Hostess was very nice and welcoming. Good option for lunch!!

If you want to know a quiet little secret of west Shreveport this is it. The food is usually pretty consistent and inside may not be fancy but it's definitely worth checking out. The service can be hit or miss depending on how well staffed they are at the time. They do a lot of take out orders. I'm not a sushi person myself so I just stick with hibachi shrimp and rice but my wife loves it. If passing down I-20 and want a quick place for lunch this is a pretty good choice.

Great service, Great food. Nice environment and located in a inconvenient area. Not much of a crowd but it is as late during the lunch hour. Im sure we'll be back someday.

Kumo is the best sushi we've had in the Shreveport-Bossier area! We visit Tyler, TX often and stick to the mediocre sushi places there but we are so glad we found a better place closer to home! The waitresses are always so friendly! The sushi combo C is such a good deal for the generous portion of nigiri! It also comes with a spicy tuna roll or California roll! The fish always tastes fresh and the sushi chef has a great selection. The sushi rice is perfect and does not crumble under the fish. Definitely recommend trying this place if you're in the area!

The food is yummy & the staff is nice. It's off the beaten path for Shreveport so never overwhelmingly crowded either.

When you think of shushing in Shreveport(and surrounding areas), you should think of Kunitz. The service and food are both 5 stars.

My party and I had a wonderful experience at Chen's Garden in Shreveport. We started with the crab…read morerangoons, which were fried perfectly with a rich, flavorful crab filling. We also tried the soft-shell crab--it was beautifully presented and tasted incredibly fresh. One guest ordered the seafood combination dinner and said everything was well-cooked, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The fried rice that came with the seafood dinner was cooked very nicely with egg and great texture. Another had the orange chicken, and although there were several chili peppers in the sauce, it wasn't too spicy--just right. The orange flavor really came through, and everything was fried crisp, not soggy. I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix dinner (General Tso's chicken and shrimp with onion and ginger slices), and it was hands down the best General Tso's I've ever had. The shrimp were beautifully cooked, and I opted for lo mein instead of rice--it was fresh, lightly sauced, and not oily at all. This is not a buffet, and honestly, it felt like stepping back 40 years to when Chinese restaurants were more intimate, authentic, and personal. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the time from ordering to receiving our food was impressively quick. I highly recommend this hidden gem. They also offer sushi and a variety of lunch specials (we visited outside of lunch hours), and everything looked so good that I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

I would skip the sashimi; it was of mediocre quality. However, considering it's Shreveport and this is a Chinese restaurant, that is to be expected. The California Roll in the combo was delicious and well-made.

It's a shame because the establishment is great and the ambiance is reminiscent of upscale Japanese dining. Service was very slow at first. It took 25 minutes to get our soups and salads and an additional 10 to get our sushi rolls. I ordered two hand rolls, when they got to my table they were in the shape of cigars, more like uncut rolls than hand rolls. Our server seemed to be in a disagreement with the host and kept disappearing for extended periods of time. Our cook was something else. After my son told him it was my birthday, he seemed to do things to intentionally make the experience miserable. He started by pouring Yum Yum sauce on the noodles while they were on the grill, much to the disgust of mine as well as other parties at the table. As he served food, he gave extras to everyone but me and kept saying things like "birthday girl, how do you like that?" It's fine, I want food that I paid for and wasn't expecting extra, it just seemed sort of odd. He proceeded to undercook my scallops and overcook my filet. When I asked for extra Yum Yum dip, he slid a greasy bottle from his cart over to me. The party next to us looked at him and said "Are you serious?" It sucks that I drove 30 minutes and picked this place because of the high praise it had received on here. Will not be returning.

We ordered the pad Thai with tofu and the massaman curry with tofu as well as a seaweed salad. The salad was gigantic. I've seriously never been served such a huge portion of seaweed salad. The entrees were bountiful as well. I was asked what "spice" level we wanted. Not being sure how it worked I just said medium. The waiter said that would probably be a "2" on their scale. It was spicy! Amazingly delicious, but I'd probably order mild next time. Definitely will stop here next time we're driving through Shreveport.
