What a great all you can eat sushi find! Came here with my friend and her kids during lunch on a Saturday. There was construction on the road near the restaurant, but not too difficult to manage and lots of parking available. Their AYCE menu was vast, food very fresh and delivered to the table quickly, friendly staff. We all had our fill for under $20 a person! If I lived closer, I would come more often. We came in on a Saturday night to a not too busy place but I believe, since it fits quite a lot of tables, the ambience felt just perfect! Not too many people but not empty; good background music and clean atmosphere all around. The rolls were great! We got 1 AYCE and 1 separate rolls. Great price, Good Food, Service was fast except when they are full. But even when they have been full they were pretty quick considering the amount of people. I've been several times if I'm in the area. I have recommended it to my friends and family. Also for an AYCE it's nice that you don't have to leave your table. I've been here a few times & For the best bang for your buck I recommend going for lunch 11am-3pm the AYCE menu is $20 (note: mandatory tip is 18%) the menu has everything from different apps( salads, Ahi tuna, dumplings, Shumai, ect), to hibachi, sashimi, sushi roll, fried rice & noodles. For drinks they have alcoholic(shoju & sake) non alcoholic (soda, iced tea, lemonade, hot tea, boba) Something to note: there is no steak on the lunch AYCE menu just chicken & seafood. We came in on a Friday night. There were hostesses at the stand, but a tablet on a stand where you sign up to be on the waitlist through Yelp. No greeting from the hostesses. Estimated wait time was 9-19 mins. We got a table in 10 minutes. Here's the funny part: when they called our name and got our text that the table was ready - the hostess took off with our menus. Didn't even wait for us, so we just wandered around to find a table with menus and assumed that's where we're supposed to sit. LOL! Idk if she was upset or super busy. I get it. I've worked in hospitality for over 10 years. Maybe she was just having ones of those days. Then we waited for 10 minutes for someone to get our drink order. AGAIN, no greeting from our waiter - just can I get you something to drink? By that time I was ready to order, if not then we were gonna be there all night. Ordered what I could. The sushi isn't bad at all. I'd def come back cause you get bang for your buck. AND I know what to expect service wise. We spent total $85 for 6 rolls, seaweed salad and chicken tempura with rice for our toddler. The TNT roll was my favorite. Very dim lighting in the place. I liked it. Tables kinda close together. Didn't like that too much. Made a visit to the bathroom. We had the most delightful birthday celebration here on Saturday with 14 people!!! They were all incredible patient and Andrew was so attentive and great! It's tough for me to share my experience but I have to be completely honest. It could have been much better! We came here with friends and family for my daughter's birthday since she wanted sushi and rolls so we did the AYCE for the whole party. What I will say is that their sashimi nor their sushi rolls tasted fresh, their fish was not as firm or cold when it came to the raw entrees so I would suggest to stuck to the cooked foods. Their Lychee martini also was also a disappointment since it was not good and the fruit was older. Their Hibachi steak and chicken was very good, my favorite item from their menu since their soups were also not very impressive. The service was very good, our server was very attentive and patient but this was mostly due to the restaurant being very slow on a Friday night. The rest of the staff was just chatting and chillin' since there wasn't many tables to wait. Kumo was very clean, too clean in my opinion especially since we were only one party out of 4 that night. I am sad to know that this place will once again not succeed, when there is many other AYCE competitors that offer similar menu items, same price, and with fresher ingredients. read more

When I was sat, my waitress was extremely kind and explained to me my sushi options. I ordered nearly everything off the menu because I love tasting food and exploring new flavors. Out of most of the similar restaurants I've visited in the area, this is my top pick as they have more of an extended menu and more options than most places do of similar niche. Very affordable and well priced for the value and options. $28.95 at dinner time per adult. You can customize some of the options to whether or not you want rice or not. Some of them, I just ordered the fish instead of the rice that usually would come with it. My waitress was extremely attentive to detail. Oh, and the crab ragons are my favorite with a hint of sweetness just as I remembered from my childhood. Highly recommended and will be returning. This AYCE (all you can eat) sushi place just opened up in our neighborhood and we were super excited to try it. We went for the soft opening. One thing I will say is that you have to be patient during a soft opening. The restaurant is still trying to work out the kinks so be kind to the staff. The price matched the value of the food. We paid about $30 bucks each and tried a variety of rolls, appetizers and steak. The best one was the shaggy dog roll. The fried cheesecake was pretty plain but I would get it again. The steak was good too, small portion. From the menu you can also order noodles. We didn't try the noodles. We also had sake & beers to compliment our meal. Overall, I would come back again. The Ambiance: I have driven past this location various times and always mentioned I need to stop by, but never did. My Order: We chose to do a La carte as I was not buffet hungry. #1: combination fried rice: the orange and the fried rice is paired perfectly, the shrimp were cooked just right (not too long; but not raw). The portion size is great, I felt I should've ordered a small as it was a lot but the amount for the price is great. #2: Spicy Tuna Sushi: Due to this being my 1st time, I wanted to play it safe. The sushi was great and fresh. I would've loved it with a side sauce. #3: Tempura Oreo This may have been the best item I had on the menu, it's has the right amount of sweetness, the way it is fried and the coating is not dense. the cream that's served on the side is a perfect touch. #4: Miso Soup Great amount of flavor. It was light and to finish it I did need a sauce. I give the pink lady a four out of five stars Their tempura is also great. It was light and fluffy. My favorite was the tempura shrimp 4.5 stars out of 5. I tried many of the crawfish hand roll and the rice rolls were filled and stuffed with crawfish. I give that a 4 out of 5. The crawfish was cold and meaty. There could have been more flavor but not bad. Salmon sashimi: It didn't taste as smooth or buttery as I would have liked it. So a 3 out of 5. Shout out to all the sauces. Their spicy mayo is the best spicy mayo I've ever had in my life. Also, the sashimi salad and sauce in it is amazing and I used it to dip everything that did not have sauce. Must order the spicy mayo when you go! Hibachi The steak was so flavorful. It was perfectly salted and savory. Must order the steak cubes when you go! 5/5 Service The service was amazing ! Our server came every 5 to 10 minutes and asked for our order. The good: Most of the dishes were good. It's definitely a higher end feeling all you can eat buffet. In fact, you don't even serve yourself. It's all served to you which I like because the food is better supervised. Another nice thing is certain beer and saki are also included as an all you can eat item which my wife and friends enjoyed. The location is convenient, there was no wait to sit down even without a reservation and there is plenty of parking (which generally isn't an issue in the Houston-land area but still worth mentioning). The bad: The wait staff continued to forget items we ordered and we had to remind them several times. This also went for utensils and plates. I don't blame all you can eat restaurants for encouraging customers to not waste food but signs constantly plastered everywhere is annoying and makes you feel nervous to order something in fear that you might not eat it all and be charged extra. Maybe come up with a different phrase instead of all you can eat. Maybe more like, "All you can eat within reason." All in all, we'd go back. read more

My friends and I were seated quickly and were greeted by a kind lady who took our order. We ordered probably 20 items (not pictured) to get our money worth!
