We were visiting from New York for a long weekend and wanted some authentic Cuban food. Yelped this place because it was close to the casino and boy did we land on a jackpot! The food 10 out of 10 the service 100 out of 10 Big shouts out to Wendy our server who was the perfect addition to our wonderful experience in this establishment. The Cuban coffee was some of the best I've ever had and we all had entrées from the lunch special Menu which came with a soup or salad. Even the small portion of chicken noodle soup that came with my entrée was flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be back to this restaurant and hopefully Wendy would be able to take care of us because it felt like we were in her home! Go here!!!

Staff and service was good. But I am not impressed by the food. Very bland in taste & I was surprised by that for such a Cuban spot. Would pass and try other Cuban spots. Nice decor

I ordered food to go and my order was completed fairly quickly. The inside looks quite welcoming and staff were fairly nice. The prices were decent and the quantity was good, but unfortunately the food was all quite bland. I ordered the granjero bowl without beans and a side of fried yuca. The chicken and maduros were dry, the rice was alright, and the yuca was completely bland. Not an ounce of salt in that yuca.

Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. Kuba Kitchen is an absolute gem. While the location may seem a little sketch at first, inside diners will find a clean, welcoming dining room. Our waitress/hostess was kind and attentive, so we felt good about making our choice to have lunch here. The food is fabulous. The El Kubano sandwich with pork, Swiss cheese, mustard and pickles was very delish and the Cuban Coffee was the perfect pick me up. Rich, not bitter. There is limited parking in their lot but you can also park along the street. Expect a short walk for the latter. Highly recommend!

Great lunch experience here today! Our waitress was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. We were the only people there at around 11:45 AM so got seated immediately. we had the appetizer sampler and our favorite items were the croquettes, yucca, and fried cheese. Would definitely go here again!

Came here straight from the airport because we should have Cuban food in Miami! Very cute place with sweet service. We ordered the appetizer platter but they were out of a couple items so had the tostones instead which were giant! I was full after eating my one and a half tostada so probably good we didn't the app platter. Roast pork was moist especially since it was a loin. Happy to have started with Cuban!

We lived each of the 4 different entrees we ordered, & also loved the juices they offer. The service by Melissa was supremely fantastic! We would eat there on a weekly basis if we lived in the area. Regarding the ambulance, the inside had great music also. It was not very loud so that we could talk with each other very easily.

Neat corner.

Very bland food. Excellent coffee and the staff was polite. Good location and clean. Do better with the food.

The food is excellent! Flew in from Houston for a cruise and wanted some Cuban/Latin food. This place did not disappoint! Great service, great food! Highly recommend the fried cheese and the fried green plantains!

Five of us ordered: 5 Cafecitos 1 Pan con Lechon 3 Pan con Bistec 1 Coladita 1 Timba Came out to $107.45 including a $10 tip. We already had a memorable Cubano sandwich so we explored other options. The Lechon was by far the crowd favorite flavor wise, but it is heavier with the pork fat. The garlic sauce is a must to help cut through the richness. We left supremely happy with the salty and garlicky fat flavors lingering on our tastebuds, rejuvenated by a quick shot of velvety espresso, and capped off with the sweet guava and tangy queso crema shake (La Timba). This location is nestled in a food court style area, with a few restaurants offering sit down table service as well. And when I say offering, the sales tactics are reminiscent of timeshare sales zombies standing in an idle state until you mistakenly stop for a BEAT and then it's game on for them. Luckily at Sanguich, they have a few dedicated seats and tables for themselves and they'll come drop your order for you. A little bit of a scavenger hunt to find it, but well worth the adventure. The views out on the water are a bonus too.

Couldn't get enough of how good the bread was and everything just blended together so well. This location is amongst many, many restaurants but Sanguich still gets a line out the door. They do have a small patio in front of the storefront for you to enjoy the meals. The service was a bit slow, but totally understandable as they take their time crafting the sandwiches. We ordered the El Cubano [$14.99] which is their most basic sandwich. The taste was definitely not basic, though! Loved every juicy, crunchy bite of that sandwich. It's kind of shareable, but I could have easily scarfed down both if I was hungry enough. We also got the Boniato Fries [$5.25] which are sweet potato fries but better, and lighter. I think they use "white" sweet potato, according to Google. Whatever it is was good! Also tried their Croquettas [$4.50] which came w/2. Super tasty and satisfying! Everything we had was spot-on! Sanguich needs to be on everyone's "To-Do" list when visiting Miami.

We ordered a ton, and right off the bat: if you love croquetas and empanadas, order extra. They're on the smaller side and come individually, but they are so good they disappear fast. The beef empanadas were a 10/10 perfectly seasoned and crispy. The chicken empanadas didn't hit the same for me, but the jamón croquetas? Absolutely insane. A must. For appetizers, the prawns al ajillo were delicious super flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was good, but not my favorite. It leaned a bit bland for my taste, even with the sauce. Now, the must-get: the carnitas with pickled onions. Easily one of the best dishes of the night so flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced. For entrées, we had the ribeye steak and arroz con pollo, plus sides of tostones and yuca. Everything here delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right not overly salty. The arroz con pollo was phenomenal, the kind of dish you could eat every single day. The tostones were crispy and tossed in garlic, which took the flavor to another level, and the yuca was melt-in-your-mouth good. I also ordered a mojito, which unfortunately was very watered down, I barely got any of that classic mojito flavor. Service overall was solid, especially considering how loud the restaurant gets it was honestly hard to hear each other at the table, so shoutout to our server for keeping everything straight. The appetizers came out quickly, back-to-back, which we loved. The only downside was the wait for the entrées they took quite a while after we finished the apps, even though we ordered everything at once. Overall, amazing food, great energy, and definitely worth going just be prepared for a lively (and loud) atmosphere.

Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Little Havana. We started with The Guac, Aji Tuna Poppers, and Avocado Salad. The Tuna Poppers came with 3 spicy tuna crispy rice and were delicious, however the Avocado Salad truly shined. All the ingredients tasted fresh, and the cumin lime vinaigrette was to die for. I would return for this salad alone! I ordered the Charred Salmon as my entree, and it was fantastic. The sweet potato purée paired with the slaw were complimenting sides to the dish. The hit of the table was the Mahi and Coconut Shrimp Cazuela. Lastly, the staff was phenomenal. We had a large party, but everything came out correctly and in a timely manner.

We were happily greeted when we arrived and told we could sit wherever we liked. There are plenty of tables outside and inside, and I hear it gets busy. Thank goodness it was a Monday early afternoon. We grabbed a nice table outside among a bunch of Cuban neon signs and pictures. At the time we came, we could choose between breakfast and lunch. I decided to get the Cuban breakfast with a guava smoothie. The platter was a 5 out of 5 for me. I loved the pork belly, the eggs, the potatoes, and the salad! And the smoothie was refreshing, though I wish there was an option to mix the flavors. Do you know how good a mango guava smoothie would have been?! My girlfriend got the same thing that I did, but they completely forgot it. She didn't receive hers until 15 minutes later... And though it seems like a simple request, they would not honor her request to swap out the potatoes for toast. They offered a free dessert which was nice due to the error, but we agreed we've had way better tres leches cake, haha. That incident aside, the restaurant was very nice. I hear they have live salsa on some nights and I know It gets busy. I would love to check that out sometime!

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban burger, and honestly both were dangerously good. The Cuban sandwich was exactly what you hope for -- crispy bread, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod at the person across from you like "yep... this was the right decision." The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too. Nice vibe, good energy, and perfect for walking around before or after eating... which you will probably need to do after finishing that burger. The servers were good -- friendly, attentive, and thankfully didn't judge us for attacking the food like we hadn't eaten in three business days. Overall the place has a fun atmosphere, great Cuban comfort food, and the kind of menu that makes you want to come back just to try the things you didn't order the first time.
