I love the Boom Vader I bought but lots of issues only after 3 weeks. Battery had to be replaced, gas tank leaked, shifting problems, cables cut from the vin plate, front forks are horrible, clutch lever really hard, rear hub rubber cushions trashed in 1 week. Before you ride go over everything. Lube the clutch cable, take off the vin plate, adjust to proper tire pressure, change the oil frequently during the break in especially if it get hard to shift. Calls for 10-40 I just put in 20-50 and it shifts really good now. Change the rear hub rubber cushions first before you ride it. Pete the owner would only respond to texts and not calls but finally did call me. I did all the repairs myself and he sent me a check to reimburse me for the parts, new battery $70, rear hub cushions $10, JB Weld expoxy gas tank fix $10. $1650 with tax other places charge $2000 without tax read more

Kronik racing is awesome. I haven't had them do any maintenance yet, but I called in curious about getting a small street legal bike for camping and putting around. After talking to Pete I settled on the Boom Retro. First off they really do honor the price, no hidden fees, no hidden taxes, the price is the price. Secondly, he was very accessible to answer my questions, they did a great job with assembly and having the bike ready. My son and I absolutely love the bike. We both fit on it comfortably, he is only 8 and its a great little bike to putt around the neighborhood, run to the store, take camping, etc. We've been cruising around every day and he can't wait to go again and again, and again. Great bike shop, purchased a Vader125 that was fully assembled along with a buddy that also got one. The main guy went over all of the basics of the bike. They do offer lots of options for these grom clone bikes but sadly I live a little far to be going all the way over there. But if I lived closer I'd have them do everything on the bike for me. Best place in LA to purchase clone bikes. I walked in paid my $1200 got my Lil Duc in 3 days. Great little bike, and support from the shop. If you are looking for a good deal on a grom clone from a shop that actually has a store front, this is your place. Pete did his research and sells Boom brand as they are CARB certified, so they are street legal in LA. Pete does all the paperwork like a normal dealership. 8 weeks after purchase you get the plates in the mail. read more

If you're looking for a pit bike/atv/mini dirt bike look no further. There are a lot of sketchy places selling these things online, but this is NOT one of those places. After getting ripped off online I gave Pete a call and he hooked me up with a special order, it took one day for my 110cc SSR pit bike to arrive at Kronik. Walked into the store and spoke with Pete, he gave me a run down of the bike and how to keep it running well. After shopping Grom Clones online I came across an ad for Boom Vaders selling at Kronik for a the best price I'd seen in my area. I contacted Pete, requested delivery and received the bike fully assembled a few days later. They took care of all the DMV paperwork and were happy to answer all my questions. I did have some issues with the assembly when I took a closer look, but the issues had to do with the parts assembled in China not any of the work done by Kronik. I contacted Pete and he happily helped resolve this by picking up the bike and personally fixing the problems the 'quality control' in China missed. Although it was not his responsibility and he could've simply told me to contact the manufacturer, instead he went the extra mile for customer service and took it upon himself to fix these problems for me. Today he delivered the bike with each and every detail addressed. I appreciate the great customer service at Kronik. read more

I took my bike in for service. I asked for an oil change (I provided the oil) a throttle cable replacement, check the valves, change the spark plug and fix the extreme high idle. The bike was there for 4 days. I called to check on it but none of my calls were answered. Finally I was told the bike was ready. Made the 30 minute drive to the shop only to find out the spark plug was never changed or check as he did not have tools...., the bikes idle was never fixed and blamed on the carburetor (which I had not bought from them). The cable was never changed as he said he had one in stock... Hell I don't even know if the valves were checked. I purchased over $700 worth of items from this place before and wasn't happy with how it was handle but gave them the benefit of the doubt. That won't happen again. I ended up paying $65 for an oil change, WHERE I PROVIDED THE OIL. Every time I asked a question about he items I wanted address there was an excuse for why it wasn't done. Spark plug= he said he didn't have the tool to take it out. Cable= he said he'd have to order it so he just opted to do nothing. The Idle= a carb he didn't sell of course got he blame. Don't sell services you can not provided! read more
