This used to be my go to shop never took my bike anywhere else. untill perry and the other guy left now I can't even get the girl up front to pass the phone to the mechanics to ask a couple questions. they used to try and give you some pointers over the phone if you had a minor issue, not anymore. called and explained what was wrong with my bike and right away she quotes me 300 100 of that just to "diagnose" it. I'm getting back into dirt-bike riding after many years away. I needed to get some work done on my Yamaha WR450F and was shocked at what it was going to cost me at a local dirt bike dealership in town. Not only were they charging ridiculously high rates to do simple jobs, they were so busy they couldn't schedule my appointment over 3 weeks. I started researching other service options and stumbled upon a small, local, independent shop called FactoryMX. It's owned and operated by Ryan Alexy. From the first call I made I was impressed with their honesty, explaining not only the things I needed now, but more impressively, letting me know what I could safely put off for awhile so that I could safe money. In this day and age, who does that? Ryan later told me that they would rather make a customer for life, than to treat someone poorly and lose them after their first visit. Both during my initial call to them and a few days later when I showed up for my service appointment, they could not have been more patient answering the endless questions I had. I felt like they would have gladly talked to me all afternoon had I needed them to. They never made me feel rushed. They clearly love what they do. Their shop is clean and well organized and there's a well stocked parts and supplies area with just about anything you would ever need to maintain your bike. I was surprised at how competitively priced they're products were which will save me the trouble of having to research and buy them online. I am always happier when I can spend my money in my own community benefiting small, local businesses. I got my bike back today and I could not be happier with how things turned out. They did really nice work. They showed great attention to even the smallest detail. They didn't forget any of the little things I asked them to look at and/or address. Everything was fixed and done to absolute perfection. I highly recommend this shop for all your biking needs. They do exactly what they promise and they have it done when they say it will be done. You can't beat that. For as long as I remain dirt biking, I will be taking my bike to FactoryMX. Pretty surprising to see a motorcycle store in this dingy, smallish shopping center literally located across from a pawn broker. Guess you can buy your cycle and then if the economy continues to suck, you can then hock it across the parking lot! Mostly a place to get parts and clothes for your ride. But not your actual ride itself. In other words, you don't come here to buy cycles. Place is small but a very loyal and knowledgeable staff who knows their stuff if you're into cycling or dirt bike/motocross racing. Me? I stick with cars but their apparel is pretty cool. read more

First off, I'm still new to riding dirt and I will tell you one thing.....DIRT bike shops and STREET bike shops are two totally different atmospheres or at least, from my two years of riding, thats what I come to find out. But with that said, I dropped off a bike at Factory MX and was greeted by two guys....very friendly and helpful. The bike had an electrical issue being that I bought it second hand from someone else. Regardless, I get a call a day later and they straight up told me that they tried their best to diagnose the bikes problem but couldn't get it. They referred me to several shops with competent mechanics that would know my bike better and the best part is, Factory MX didn't charge me a dime. That right there is service with: Honesty and integrity. They didn't charge me for something they couldn't do.
