sold me a chain that was so old, the chain representative at the company didn't think it was part of they're line up. I found posts from 5 years ago saying it had been discontinued for years. sold to me with no disclaimer at full price. began falling apart in 200 miles. picked up the bike with a cracked lcd speedometer and got terrible attitude from the owner about it, and refused to do anything about it. They've screwed up something small or big on several services, waited to order several incorrect parts. They lose parts on services. read more

Dave will lie and scam you. Every time. I can rebuild an entire bike myself. Needed some work done I didn't really have time to do. Dropped off. He called after business hours to say it was not repairable but he'd be happy to buy the bike for a quarter of it's value. Came in the next morning to take my bike home and fix it myself - which was 100% repairable and I fid fix it. When I grabbed my bike, Dave had already started putting his own new parts on it. He said, "I hope you don't think I was trying to rip you off!" No, dude. I don't THINK you were trying to rip me off. I know for a fact you were. You're a liar and a scam artist. I hear story after story of the same kind of stuff from this shop. He'll talk like he's your best bro, but his shop's work quality is amateur at best and his ethics... nonexistent. read more

WARNING: If you want to be able to actually ride your motorcycle, DON'T TAKE IT HERE! He had my husband's buddy's Honda 250X for 3 months for an engine rebuild. We told Dave we thought it was a rebuild when we brought it in, he called 3 weeks later and said, "good news - it's just a starter." Then 4 days later called back and said, "oh - it is the motor." So basically he had the bike for a month before he actually even diagnosed the issue. Then didn't start work for another month and a half. Blamed it on the machinist having the head for two weeks. Doesn't add up. When we questioned the time it was taking (after two months) Dave got super agitated and said, "I don't need this pressure..." Ultimately after all was said and done it was 3 months. Finally got it back, rode it twice, and Dave said no problem to bring it back for the initial valve check after the rebuild. Brought it back this past Tuesday and he said it would be done by the weekend - just called today (Friday) to go pick it up and he hadn't even looked at it - denied he had that conversation with us. He told us to come to pick up the bike - "he doesn't need customers like us!" So basically Dave doesn't want customers that want the work done in a timely manner and will hold him to what he promises. After the motor rebuild experience, we only brought it there because the valve check was covered - but NEVER AGAIN! My husband and his friend have spent thousands of dollars over the past couple of years - and this is the treatment they get? Dave will twist and change the story in his response to this review and deny, deny, deny, and lie but watch out...This is all 100% true! (BTW - would leave ZERO stars if I could) read more

First impression is everything. Walked into this shop looking for a couple of tires for my sons bike. Walked in and was greeted by friendly staff. Told them what I needed and he was eager to help. After looking up there tire size on my own, I was told they had one tire in stock and one on order. No biggie, I wasn't in a rush. So I asked what the price was and I was told it would be over $140 for two tires. Really? That's crazy. I understand brick and mortar stores charge a few bucks more for stuff to stay in business but this seemed a bit steep. I was asked if I wanted them to hold the second tire for me and I declined. As I walked out the employee said, "that sounds a little steep for two tires let me check the price." This makes me believe he knew he was ripping me off and when I decided to leave he tried to save a sell. Too late. Lost a customer, really only came here because I've shopped with pit pro in the past. Obviously different owner/management. I went to the store I passed on the way there and bought the in stock tires cheaper. Store is small. Looks like most stuff is old stock. Most likely not a lot of turn around. In Short: I had my Suzuki DRZ400 serviced at PitPro. They replaced my water pump solving a leak. Was fair on the price and turn-around. Since the repair... no leaks. PitPro took care of me!! In Full: First visit, I went to Pit Pro to look for some riding gear after purchasing a bike--starting from scratch. Due to my big feet and head, I could not fit anything in stock. However, Dave was still very helpful. Question after question he answered them... or said call or come back so he could find out. while there--I overheard a customer complimenting the shop techs. I could tell Dave took care of everyone. He had a positive vibe about him. The customers all seem like they'd been going there for years. So at some point, I knew where to bring my bike for service. Needless to say, my recent purchase of a used Suzuki was a great buy with the exception of a coolant leak.
