I got a "new" set of tires put on my motorcycle at AdvMoto Tech by Ryan some time ago (9/28/2021). I recently sold this motorcycle but not before discovering that the tires were 9 years old (front 2012) and 3 years old (rear 2018) AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION. Now it may be partially my fault in that I did not check this at the time, but really . . what kind of a business or person is it that does not look after it's customers safety any better than this just to make a few extra bucks? Shameful. read more

There's obviously a reason why Ryan and Adv Moto Tech have the reviews that they do. What you get is excellent service, and I say that without any exaggeration, and at a portion of what others may charge. I recently purchased a used Vespa. On the way home, the Vespa stopped working while I was on the freeway. I pulled off to the side, decided to get the Vespa off the road, and began my research. What I did not want to do was to go to Vespa and pay ridiculous amounts of money to have it looked at. As a new resident of the Santa Clarita area, AdvMoto Tech came up on my Google search. I reached out and Ryan was more than willing to look at it. In less than a week, I got the Vespa back, running in great condition, and as everyone else has mentioned in their reviews, at a very reasonable price. Ryan is very accommodating, well-spoken (you don't hear that a lot these days), and honest and straight-forward. I will definitely go back to this establishment for all my Vespa and motorcycle needs. read more

Ryan and his team are great. Called a couple weeks back to get quote for a new Royal Enfield Classic 350. The dealers are insane with their pricing, and thank god for independent shops like AdvMotoTech! Ryan quoted me a fair price and I finally reached the mileage where I needed to be checked/adjusted for the valves. Dropped it off in the morning, and later the same day, it was finished. They also re-aligned my rear swingarm/wheel and adjusted the chain. Will be going back and certainly will recommend to my riding friends and family. Ryan got a new shop puppy too, so look for him when you go in! Use with confidence. Great guys who I trust now with my bike. read more

I've been on Yelp for 9 years and I've written 3 reviews; clearly I don't do this often. However, my recent visit to AdvMotoTech is going to change that statistic. I was visiting the LA area from out of town and had a hard part failure on one of my bikes. One of the first things I did was search around on Yelp, which is how I found Ryan's shop. I gave him a quick call and he gave me an immediate, no-BS assessment: there's no telling what it could be, unless he opens it up and looks at it. I went ahead and had him take a look, and not only was he able to get it taken care of, he got it taken care of quickly in the middle of summer. Unfortunately I am physically too far from Ryan to make him my local shop, but anyone in the LA area should not hesitate and go directly here. You are in good hands, if not the best! Thanks Ryan and team! read more

At long last, I've found my new motorcycle mechanic. With gas prices what they are, I dusted off my trusty Suzuki VStorm and decided I'd better have it checked before taking it on the road for my daily commute. Ryan did an excellent job, and was great at communicating what he thought the bike needed, etc. His rates are reasonable, and the bike is now in great shape. Very pleased. Thanks Ryan! read more

Ryan immediately called to return my text regarding a check engine light on my 2020 Triumph Bobber Black. He told me that there was a recall on some of those bikes for a wiring harness that could be tripping the check engine light and to take it to the dealer, as that could be under a recall repair. I do very much appreciate him for taking the time to send me to the right place and not just offer to take my bike in for service. I plan to go back to him for any repair needs for my bike in the future. Cheers! DocMikeChiro read more

I am a new rider and just purchased a 2016 Ducati Scrambler(private sale). Rear brakes weren't working properly. I contacted the shop and they got back to me within a couple hours. Brought it by the following day and the owner immediately noticed the chain needed to be serviced as well. He took care of both in about an hour. Extremely friendly, excellent service, even gave me some tips on what to look out for when servicing the bike. Will 100% be back! read more

Been going to Ryan for years. I don't trust anyone else with my motorcycles.... I need to add more characters here to let me post.

AdvMotoTech is now my "GO TO motorcycle repair shop"! Reading the other great AdvMotoTech reviews here I decided to try them for repairs on my Triumph Bonneville SE. I had a stand-still tip over in my driveway. I was tired, (I blame being morning tired pre-coffee) and thought the kickstand was down, it wasn't. Arrrg!! At the time I only saw a slightly bent clutch lever and cosmetic damage to the left bar end mirror. But after riding it awhile the bent clutch lever was getting on my nerves and then the toe gear shift flew off. So I needed to get the bike checked out. I started looking for a new shop because I was frustrated with the dealer I had been going to. The dealer's service started declining and after the best service manager left, I could no longer even get the dealer's service dept on the phone. And the dealer's service Dept didn't return my emails either. So I'm grateful to find AdvMotoTech. I called Ryan on Tuesday about replacing a bent clutch lever and to fix the toe gear shift that came loose while riding. He suggested he look at the bike to determine which parts might need ordering before dropping the bike off, but only if convenient for me. I'm off work this week so it was. I rode over, he inspected and immediately fixed the toe gear shift. Saved me from ordering a new part. Once I was there I also asked him if my rear tire had any life left. I knew it was worn past the wear bar indicators. He said what I thought, that I needed a new rear tire. He said the front was still ok. So he ordered me a new clutch lever and rear tire. Said the parts should arrive the next day or two and I rode back home. I got a call from Ryan the next day that one part was in and the other should arrive Thursday. So I dropped of the bike Wednesday eve and just picked it up today - 2 days later. Voila! All fixed!! Ryan gave me incredible service. He treated me with respect and answered all my questions. He gave superb quick service and got me and my bike back safe on the road. And the shop is conveniently located in Glendale. AND he installed my new adjustable clutch lever at the setting my previous lever was set at. I have smaller hands so I appreciate this. I've had other shops install after market levers on my other bikes at a farther reach setting which probably matched the mechanic's big hands. Here, Ryan paid close attention to that detail on his own. Totally appreciated! Great shop! Have Ryan and his team at AdvMotoTech fix your bike. You'll be happy like I am. read more

AdvMotoTech - Great repair shop! Conveniently located in Glendale, CA - Motorcycle Repair Near Me - Santa Clarita, California

Found that the work done on my Harley at the last place I took it to was sub par, left me in need of a tow and was potentially life endangering. It is so refreshing to finally find a small shop where you have confidence in the quality of work done (because you are communicates with through the work) , don't get a sales pitch for everything and anything, and the owner is a straight shooter. Other private motorcycle shops in L.A. could learn from Ryan. AdvMotoTech is my new go to. Thanks Ryan. read more

This shop really is a hidden gem of Glendale and I'm so happy it's in my backyard. Found it by inquiring about something minor recently and Ryan is the easiest person to deal with. Extremely transparent, knowledgeable, and most important fair. Customer service is top notch, work quality is top notch, prices are beyond fair and reasonable. I love coming back here even for the smaller items, not once did I ever feel it wasn't "worth their time" to do any type of job on my bike. I doubt I'll ever use the dealers/different shop for anything motorcycle related ever again. I love this place! read more

Ryan at AdvMotoTech is an expert on BMW's as he was the service manager at a dealer for years. He really knows his stuff, is extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable, honest, and very reasonable. A friend of mine showed me this place and I'll never take my BMW anywhere else. Ryan is the kind of guy where you could call and pick his mind about potential issues with an R1200S for a few minutes over the phone. To put things into context, I am that person who doesn't recommend most dealers or shops. I just find the service to be generally pretty terrible and so exorbitantly priced that I'd rather do it myself. This place is the real deal! read more

Ryan is the man, will take great care of your bike and he's honest reliable knowledgeable and extremely skilled. it's so hard to find trustworthy mechanics who the hell knows what to believe I for one have no idea about gaskets or rods or pumps or whatever the hell else is going on inside my bike. I know how to ride it, the rest I leave to professionals, and after finding Ryan I know I don't ever have to worry about getting ripped off again. he's done a TON of work on my bike from complicated jobs like installing a complete exhaust to simple stuff like a throttle tube install and new levers and all his work is flawless and done at a reasonable rate. he won't try n upsell u and won't overcharge u so stop reading reviews and just take ur bike to him. he's also a nice guy which makes paying him much easier :) read more

I want to thank Ryan and his team for taking care of me after I purchased my first motorcycle from out of state sight unseen, a 05 BMW gs1200. Yes, what possibly could go wrong! My bike was starting to run rough and I needed to get it fixed. Called Ryan and discussed the problem I was having. He was very friendly and professional on the phone and he gave me a day to bring it by. Rode it over to his shop in Glendale a couple of days later expecting to have to leave the bike and pay a few hundred to get it straightened out but this wasn't the case at all. He heard me ride up and met me out front. Took a look and a listen and adjusted it right there and then. I rode it back home and it was 100% better. So happy to find a good reputable guy who knows his stuff. I'll be recommending him in the future! read more

This shop is not especially friendly. I had work done there a few years ago and the behavior was as if they didn't want the business. Recently I stopped by and was asking if any of their bikes were for sale. The person was very dismissive and ended the convo saying 'this is not the place for you'. I realize they are not a sales shop but I was just inquiring. It looks like they are very successful and its nice to have a bike shop in the neighborhood. Best of luck to them. read more
