Not knowing anything about bikes, I bought my son a cheap pit bike (not from here.) Had various issues with it. Dave was very honest and saved me a lot of money and a headache. I knew after working with Dave and the guys at his shop that they were trustworthy and would get me the best bike for the best deal. I eventually bought a very nice used Yamaha from them. Dave went over and beyond to get this bike cleaned up, spruced up, and delivered for my son's graduation! They really know their stuff, they're honest, and very down to earth! I highly recommend them! I would not go anywhere else.

Thank you for taking care of my son's dirtbike. You're straightforward, honest and thorough in your job. Will definitely use your services again.

sold me a chain that was so old, the chain representative at the company didn't think it was part of they're line up. I found posts from 5 years ago saying it had been discontinued for years. sold to me with no disclaimer at full price. began falling apart in 200 miles. picked up the bike with a cracked lcd speedometer and got terrible attitude from the owner about it, and refused to do anything about it. They've screwed up something small or big on several services, waited to order several incorrect parts. They lose parts on services.

I trust this place with everything I own

Do you remember when you got that toy you wanted on Christmas? Well, Dave and his team are better than that. HONEST, FAIR, AND UPFRONT ABOUT THE WORK. They know what they're doing 100 percent. I dropped my bike off, my favorite thing in the world. I don't trust my bike with anyone, but I TRUST Dave and his team. BIG SHOUT OUT TO HIS MASTER TECH. Six stars, my man. PHENOMENAL JOB. My bike has never run so great. The clutch is impeccable now!!! THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES. ***** To everyone who doesn't understand what you are paying for, it's this... you pay them for their trust. DON'T BE CHEAP. This is your life you are talking about here, and knowing you're in good hands is always worth its price.

I recently needed some suspension mods on my 2021 CRF250. I was given some outrageous quotes from some other shops that claimed I had no choice but to completely replace my front & rear suspension in order to meet my needs. Dave at Pit Pro recognized the challenge with a brand new bike having limited aftermarket parts available. He asked me to leave it with him for a few days in order for him & his master tech to brainstorm different ideas. Several day's later he contacted me advising it was ready for pickup. He somehow managed to modify my front & rear suspension to meet my exact needs without replacing any significant parts. He saved me a ton of money & gave me exactly what I needed.

1-Star Review I…read morebought a 2015 Harley-Davidson FXDB Street Bob at the beginning of summer and brought it to Ken & Joe's Motorcycle Shop because I wanted to make sure the bike was properly serviced and inspected and there was a battery issue. I paid around $1,500 for a three-hole service, inspection, and a new tire. The shop had my bike for approximately 2 1/2 weeks, and I was told most of the delay was because they were waiting for my tire. About a week after getting the bike back, my clutch cable broke. I contacted the shop and was told that it wasn't something they could have predicted during the inspection. I understand that unexpected parts can fail, but I ended up bringing the bike back and waiting another three weeks for the clutch cable to be replaced, which cost me another $490. I finally got my bike back last week. After only three days of riding, the bike completely shut off while I was riding and now has another issue that needs to be diagnosed. I'm not saying Ken & Joe's caused these problems. It's an older motorcycle, and mechanical issues can happen. However, after spending nearly $2,000 with this shop and having the bike there for more than five weeks combined, it's extremely frustrating to continue having problem after problem--especially after paying for an inspection and service. I bought this bike at the beginning of summer specifically so I could enjoy riding it. Instead, between the time spent in the shop and the mechanical problems, I've only been able to ride it for about three weeks this entire summer. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend this shop. From this point forward, I'll be taking my bike directly to a Harley-Davidson dealership for service and repairs.

After recently selling my 2019 KTM 500 EXC, I was looking for a new street-legal dirt bike and decided on a 2026 Beta 390 RS Special Edition. I'll start by saying that in the past, I had never purchased a motorcycle from Ken & Joe's Powersports because their pricing was typically higher than competing dealers. This time around, however, they came extremely close to the best price match I could find on the Beta. Since K&J is also my local Santa Clarita powersports dealer, I decided to give them my business and an opportunity to earn my future Parts and Service business as well. Sales: The purchase process was extremely quick and straightforward. There was zero pressure and no unnecessary upselling, which I really appreciated. Everything was handled quickly and to the point. The sales staff could probably be a little more personable or talkative, but that is a very minor observation and certainly nothing negative about the transaction. Most importantly, they stayed more than an hour after closing to finish my purchase, which I greatly appreciated. Parts: My experience with the Parts Department has been excellent. The woman working Parts is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely a pleasure to talk with every time I visit. Communication has also been top-notch. Whenever I have ordered parts, they have kept me updated and contacted me promptly when everything arrived. I did have one issue when a non-Parts employee answered the phone and told me an exhaust would be ordered for me. Several days later, I happened to discover that it was never ordered, and nobody had contacted me to let me know there was an issue. I was also told they couldn't get the exhaust, which ultimately turned out not to be the case because I was able to have it shipped directly to me through Beta. That was frustrating, but it appears to have been an isolated communication issue rather than representative of my overall experience with their Parts Department. Service: Service has also been outstanding. They have been quick, straightforward, and reasonably priced. Most importantly, they have gotten the work completed without unnecessarily holding onto my motorcycles. That's something I really value because I don't want a bike sitting at a dealership for days when the work can be completed much sooner. Overall, I have been very pleased with Ken & Joe's Powersports. Between purchasing the Beta, ordering parts, and having service performed, they have earned my business. As long as they continue to remain competitive with their pricing and maintain this level of Parts and Service support, I will continue to be a K&J customer.

I noticed them growing over the years and becoming an official factory-authorized dealer, so when I was looking to get back into riding, I decided to check out a pre-owned 2019 Yamaha MT-10 they had on the floor. Well, it looks like not much has changed in all these years when it comes to their pre-owned offerings. This bike (with around 10k miles) was in terrible shape. The chain was totally rusted out, the seat was broken, and the left grip was completely loose, indicating a poorly done replacement. The left-side engine case had rash--probably from a drop, which connects to why that grip needed replacement. On top of that, the battery was dead, the front tire was completely bald, the back tire was 4 years old despite having tread, and last but not least, the bike had an active, open safety recall. Yet, their asking price was for a bike in great condition. Whenever I pointed an issue out to the salesperson, he replied that they knew about it and intended on fixing it at the time it was purchased, which I highly doubt. I am pretty sure they would happily sell that bike as-is to an unsuspecting buyer. Otherwise, why not take care of those things to begin with if you plan on doing them anyway? It doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in a major dealership to see a bike in such poor condition on the showroom floor. My guess is they try to pass off a mess to someone first, and if it doesn't sell, only then do they start lowering the price or addressing the issues. It's a shady way to do business.

The highlight of our visit was working with Whitney in the apparel section. I was searching for the highly sought-after Factory Racing hooded sweatshirt. While they didn't have it in stock, Whitney mentioned they might get a shipment the following day. Since we live in the Bay Area and were just passing through, I was disappointed that I'd miss out by just one day. Whitney immediately went above and beyond. She offered to speak with her manager about shipping it to me, created an account, took my information, and promised to follow up. During the paperwork process, the finance person explicitly pointed out a specific line item on my contract and told me it was a fee for "mandatory theft protection." When I dug into this deeper, I discovered it was actually a hidden charge for my 1k and 5k mile services--the exact same services the finance person had just explicitly told me were free because they were part of my ESP plan. When I asked for copies of my signed documents before leaving, the finance guy said I didn't need them now and would get them when I picked up my bike a couple days later. This in and of itself is a violation. Far worse than this deceptive behavior, I later discovered that my signature had been forged on a contract document without my knowledge or consent. Forgery and contract deception are serious violations, not standard dealership misunderstandings. When I confronted the dealership management with the evidence, they were forced to void the transaction and return my trade-in vehicle. While I am glad to have my property back, management has completely blown me off, refusing to take accountability or explain why their staff is falsifying charges, withholding paperwork, and forging customer signatures. This is a massive breach of trust and a serious consumer violation that should not be swept under the rug. A formal complaint has been officially filed with the California DMV Investigations Division. If you choose to do business here, check your paperwork line-by-line with extreme scrutiny before you leave.
