Entrance door next to Pharmacy closes before time ( 730pm ) even though it is mentioned at 8 pm . Today I realized when coming out at 735 pm , lady closed in front of me asking to avail other door . When I inform her it's written 8pm closing why closing early , she said they daily closed this door at 730pm . So either they should change the sign or retrain their staff . The food is so moldy!!! One time I looked at the cucumbers and it looked like a rat ate through it!!! The workers are not nice and they don't smile or want to even be there. It's very dirty and there is food all over the floors. It's very small and tiny in some places. The workers are mean and I heard one of them yell at a costumer. read more

Service never improved from day one till now. I live around here almost seven years and I was excited and happy at the beginning when move in to this area that close to Kroger. But it was totally disappointed when I went in to the store, no one welcome, plus every employees face look mad. Cashier from self checkout always got no smiling face on it, when you need help they will definitely attitude on you and won't solve your problems even trying, but they will argue with you. Especially the customer service area they are always extremely mad and bad attitude on you for any reason you ask, I think they just don't want you to bother them. Today I bought something that the coupon didn't go through, so I asked for help from customer service. A woman name sherry ( assistant bookkeeper) she without looking my receipt and product, instead of trying to solve or help me, she just question me with a very not respectful like I did something bad to them. And of course my problem didn't solve at all. I'm writing this not about the small problem, but their attitude unacceptable. That's the reason I don't want go to Kroger anymore. We have been shopping at this store since it opened 10 years ago for both groceries and pharmacy needs. We are happy with store but our requests for help setting up our Kroger app successfully, have been essentially ignored. The woman manning the customer service desk appears to hate being interrupted from doing nothing obvious. Twice I have asked her customer service questions and she told me to call the helpline as apparently she had no interest in helping me. The help line had a huge waiting time so I tried emailing them. After two weeks I got a brush off response that didn't address my question. I replied trying to explain the issue. After another two weeks I got a response that said I could already do what I wasn't able to do. I replied again explaining that i was not able to do what she said I could do. Never heard from them again. It really is a simple question that it would take a knowledgeable person about three minutes to tell me how to fix our account. There seems to be no corporate interest in helping their customers use their app. read more

Like most places during the pandemic, this Kroger has set spaces aside for curbside pickup. While not nearly as nice as the grocery stores that were all built during or post-pandemic when curbside pickup exploded, they do not have carport covers and are across the way from the actual building, making pickup during rainy days tricky and bothersome for all involved - but even more so for those packing your car. The app let's you load your cart and add coupons easily, updates you on deals like five for five or buy ten get $x off, etc. However, they let you have only a small window of time to make approve your substitutions (typically 25-30 mins or less) via text. If you miss the text, they either won't do the substitutions or skip the item altogether. This creates a problem when you're trying to get those deals and use coupons as some of the substitutions do not count towards your order discounts. They DO sometimes price match a more expensive item for one they do not have in stock from your cart. Specialty items and those on sale on the flyers sent home or in the app arent always the same price when doing curbside or simply aren't available for curbside pickup as they want you to go into the stores for those - and those deals often get bought up quickly, anyways, so it's hard to find even when you go in stores. But I love that you can do orders for pickup the same day, when available, and that it is free as long as you spend more than $35...which is very easy to do with all of the increase in prices across the board everywhere for everything now. Even if same day pick ups aren't available, usually the next day is. I have not had to wait more than a day for groceries - even during Thanksgiving or Christmas time. Curbside has been a lifesaver, especially with toddlers and young children, and makes shopping so much easier. Whatevet little things aren't filled or I forgotten, I can do in another pickup the next day or run in when the kids aren't with me during lunch or some other time and it's quick. I do miss blindly perusing the aisles and coming up with sudden dinner or snack ideas...but maybe that's for the better. Lol. Maybe someday there will be virtual reality shopping aisles for us to look through or robots that we can guide through the stores from the comfort of our beds. For now, though, I love this service and use it often. I only wish there was an easier way for substitutions or checking pricing. read more

as soon as i walked in the kroger i was FOLLOWED not by some random but by the EMPLOYEES not even five minutes into shopping before going in to work i hear through the intercom a call for security i joke to me and my friends "what if it's for us hahah" and there you see a worker asking if the chip bag i brought in was paid for and even after confirming that it was mine before i walked into the store they continued to get security to follow us around the store i was stared at as i checked out. this establishment needs to be reevaluated read more

Store is clean and staff is friendly I regularly am fortunate to encounter Roland when he is working. He über helpful and goes above and beyond to assist customers with price adjustments to the additional services that Kroger offers. He is a model Kroger employee and makes me wish I lived closer. He helps make the world a better place and hope corporate gives him a promotion. I have met additional employees that are very courteous and knowledgeable. Holy mackerel this Kroger is huge. I need GPS just to find the stuff that you want. Think Kroger is going on the concept of Waltmart, but with customer service. Beside they carry almost everything here,the store is clean and organized and plenty of sopping carts.The parking lot is huge,which is great when you need to load and unload the groceries. I am a huge fan of their bake chicken. Those of you have not try it!? Try them they are great and the prices you can't beat them. They suppose to be better for you then the fry chicken so that's what they said any way. Mine bake chicken is great and for under $5 bucks that is a Hell yeah. The store is nicely organized , and they have many signs that help you navigate through out the store. So it is not bad. Overall nice deli sections and great selections. read more

I had a very bad experience at Kroger Sunday employees smoking what they claim to be a 20 piece in the men's bathroom vaping a 20 piece management got involved however it was very disappointing to be told that it's private property if I wanted to call the police they do not have to let them on the property now corporate is called me and said they would do an investigation but too much time has elapsed due to them being inactive Sunday night and trying to find out what they exposed Shoppers to in the restroom while smoking or vaping I am looking forward to HEB however they will be hiring from the same hiring pool as Kroger did I'm hoping the difference will be how they handle problems I am stuck this place is so near me and has fuel points but at what cost. Absolutely one of my favorite place to grocery shop. They have excellent deals from their fuel rewards to the community rewards program with our children's school, you can shoo save money on gas every time you fill up and contribute a portion of every purchase to the school which is amazing. read more

This store used to be quite nice when we moved to the area 5 years ago. Since then it seems to year on year for downhill.... The one thing I will never understand is why the management of this store allows employees to sit in the seated area outside the Starbucks at the front of the store and smoke. The seating area is there for customers but it stinks like an old ashtray from all the cigarette's flicked around the place. It's absolutely disgusting. We shop here only if we need something when passing by. Go up to the new HEB on 1463 or the other newer Kroger on 1463/Spring Green. read more

Noise level is terrible, I have to wear my earbuds with some music because its constant talking and *whooo hooing*.over the innercom. Annoying at best, even when I worked there plenty of customers would file complaints about it, but they didn't care. Extream favoritism here with employees and managers, certainly not a place where you can expect to pay your bills with very easily, and will definitely not be a long lifestyle career no matter what they tell you . Good for teens and first jobs, retail is never fun. Customer service is always busy, as is any customer service anywhere. You can pay anything there, just a sugestion but maybe have a separate line for returns etc and another for western union, they bog up the system. The lines go quickly, most the time I have to bag my own groceries which is fine anyways because, for some odd reason i get home with 20 bags after buying 20 items, a waste. So I recently changed over to reusable ones, works better. Items are normally stocked up well, sometimes the sale items are out of stock but rainchecks help with that. The clearance rack is lacking at this kroger, I've been to others and they have more on there racks. All in all, this store is decent for a quick jump in and get some milk type thing. HEB is my normal shopping store, because they do more for the community. read more

I've generally been a fan of Kroger's but I'm not impressed with this one. I found they had a limited selection to the more healthy items I tend to buy and the produce is terrible. Found the tomato's I bought rotting after only 2 days. The grapefruit was dried out, bell pepper lacked flavor, etc. Additionally, I was blessed with a fruit fly infestation courtesy of this Kroger. I think it may have come from the bananas. It took me 4 weeks to fight it; I never realized how robust and persistent those suckers are. I could care less how well the floor plan is laid out and lit as raved in other 5 star reviews. What's the point if the food is pricey and not fresh? There are a couple HEB's near where I live. I'll probably be making HEB my regular buyer. Update: Gave the Kroger another chance. The store is clean as mentioned in other reviews, still couldn't find some of my more favorite items but the basic needs are there. The Starbucks is nice of course. No worries. However, going thru the produce section and seeing fruit flies hovering over the onions turned me off. I pointed this out to one of the produce workers and he just shrugged his shoulders and didn't say anything. I did purchase the groceries I needed but left the produce for another store. read more

Great store!!! They have it all here... What I love about this Kroger besides that it is close to my home is that it is huge!!! I guess you could say it's a super Kroger? The young man working in the deli had an injury to his finger and could not fit a glove over all of the gauze wrapping. You can figure the rest out. I did talk to a manager but tbh there is nothing they can ever do to erase this image from my mind. Also I would have to watch expiration dates which becomes tiresome. read more

All the produce was fresh, full deli , full bakery and a ton more make it a great choice on the Katy, Richmond border . I love shopping here, even though they might be slightly more expensive than HEB. The area is new with wide & abundant parking spaces. The facility itself is very clean, organized and equipped with an incredibly nice and helpful staff. You can shop here and be in & out very quickly with ease. Plus, they have a Starbucks inside, so you can grab a venti mocha frap while you shop and a Redbox outside, so you can snatch a movie on your way out. HEB, by comparison, isn't as clean as Kroger and its ALWAYS packed. read more

If I could give it to zero Stars I would! On the website and Google it says open till 4 pm. I showed up at 3:30 on Thanksgiving to grab one onion and I have somebody screaming at me from the front door that they are closed. But I explained that Google says 4 p.m. she told me the doors close at 3:30. The goal is to get everyone out by 4 p.m. They should have that posted and listed. I know it's Thanksgiving and I know they want to be home with their family. I left my family and drove 15 minutes because the website said it closed at 4. I arrived at 3:30 p.m. and just wanted to grab one thing. If it's important to the Kroger Corporation for them to get out of the store by 4 p.m. on the dot than they should State they close at 3:30 p.m. on the website. It is all about setting the proper expectations. I could not be more upset and I will absolutely never come back. HEB is across the street and thank God! I will only be shopping there. I have thought for years that their service was not great and the store was not well kept after this experience I could not be more upset or frustrated. read more

We have a Kroger and an HEB near us, and we choose to be Kroger customers. My husband just vacuum sealed two 3 lb packages into portions appropriate for us. Both packages were 2.5 oz short of the labeled weight. Weighing the soaked pad of blood at the bottom of the package accounted for 2 oz. I understand ground beef will drain blood. However, when we buy a package of meat labeled 3 lbs, I expect to be able to put 3 lbs in my skillet. If I'm actually getting 45.5 ounces, then I expect the label to say that. (From the top of the label: an orange band that says GROUND BEEF, white strip says "89% LEAN*20% FAT, picture of cooked beef, an orange band with 48 oz claim, white band with a sell-by date.) read more

I usually dont post reviews but this encoutmer was too much. This Kroger is usually top notch; however, the interaction with the associate Hope was just unfriendly. She was rude, unfriendly and overall acted like I was asking too much at CUSTOMER service. Sadly this wasn't even the worse part. The worse part is that Hope and another female associate was talking mess about me to each other WHILE I'm there. I will be taking this up with Corporate as Kroger should be ashamed about the people they hire. If they don't like customer service do NOT have them working in the Customer Service booth. read more

I visited this store tonight (9:15pm) with my daughter because it is down the street from my mother's home. This was my first visit to this store and I needed a few items for my mother. I wound up with 18 items to checkout with. I went to one of the TWO express lanes that were open and was immediately approached by Matt saying I had too many items. He continued to explain that the lanes were reserved for express checkout with 15 items or less and told me I had 18 items. I understand there is a limit, but BOTH lanes were empty and remained empty until after Matt sent me to Eden's line. While I waited in Eden's line, Matt came over to converse with her about something as if there were no customers in line. Being already dissatisfied with his lack of attention to customer service and seeing the express lanes remain empty, I had to ask that they cut their conversation in order to check out. My experience with other Kroger stores is that the manager is interested in getting the customer through checkout even if they are over the limit for express. In fact I've had managers pull me from long lines and send me to express because no one was there. Seeing as there were TWO empty express lanes, I don't see how having three additional items would have been a problem. In the time it took Matt to count my items and continue to tell me that I could not check out through express, the young lady at that register could have already started checking me out. If Matt is a manager, he is in dire need of a refresher course on customer satisfaction as he lacked the ability to show such knowledge during my visit this evening. I am sure Kroger would be more interested in customer satisfaction as opposed to whether or not the customer had 3 items too many for express when two express lanes were available. read more

Normally I do not go to this pharmacy since they gave me the wrong number of pills one time. But last weekend I had to go since they carry a certain medicine we needed. My experience this time was wonderful. The pharmacist Teresa Yang and her helper Alan Sung were fantastic. She even stayed late to give us the free cholesterol blood test even though it was almost closing time. These two employees deserve special kodos since people like them make a store great! read more
