I drove over here after my doctor's appointment and there were hardly any people, it was around 9:45am. It was relaxing to shop the aisles and see what sales were going. Purchased 5 packs of WASA Crispbread, when I got home, 3 of the packs were out of date 2025 and also one expired over 2 years ago. I returned them and was told to replace the out of date items, only one of the whole shelf was current. This is not the first time I have found out of date merchandise there, luckily I noticed the date previously (it was just one item of the product) before purchasing. Having any foodstuff on a shelf dated March 2024 is ridiculous and very unsafe. read more

They keep shutting the doors early. They say that the store closes at midnight and I rush to get there 15 minutes prior, and the doors are locked. I'll have to see how to get ahold of their corporate office. This is two days in a row now. read more

Clean, nicely stocked, newer Kroger store. This Kroger is close to my home and typically has what I need at a decent price. The interior is newer and always clean and inviting. Staff is helpful and while not overly friendly, I've never had a bad experience with them. One time a checker was slightly awkwardly personal in her conversational anecdotes. But, eh. That's people. Kroger has surprisingly awesome and fresh sushi. At this location a sushi chef makes it fresh. I'm a fan of the Shiner Family Reunion, which is typically on sale here. The only disappointment was a couple large cupcakes I chose from the bakery which looked amazing in the case. But the cake was dry and the frosting bland. I'm not sure what garners a five star review for a grocery store, an exceptional beer selection or incredible produce quality perhaps? This Kroger has neither, but is above-average in every way I have experienced it, except the bakery. Four stars! read more

This Kroger is a little more high-end. Not Central Market high-end, but they have definantly spent some money raising their target market. The meat here is better than a lot of area grocery stores. However, you should know that this is a HIGH VOLUME STORE! The parking lot is very crowded, and busy. The people ringing your food aren't going to be very personable all the time, because they are working on speed. The people stocking/ or at other counters aren't too helpful either. However, if you want to spend a little extra, and have different options (or sushi)... this is a decent store. Do not be confused, I use it all the time. For everyday items, I'm often across the street at Albertsons, but this Kroger has lots of options that Albertsons doesn't carry... plus, two grocery stores facing each other is good competition for everyone! I have gone into this store in the evening five times in five weeks. Each time the Deli area is a hospitalization waiting to happen. The Delie meat slicers are not cleaned throughout the day, and you don't know what you will get with your food. The first two times I complained to the assistant manager on duty, yet nothing is done. . . The third time I took pictures and again complained to the assistant manager. A week ago, the fourth time (I took pictures again), I again complained to the assistant manager. She said "I have told them to clean the slicer, but they just won't do it. I don't understand why they won't." I went in tonight and not only does the meat slicer look like a trip to the hospital waiting to happen (again, I have pictures if you need them) there is raw chicken on the floor and they were not cooking chicken at the time. . . . This time there was a different assistant manager. I explained the situation to him and he said, well I know they cleaned it last night because I watched them do it. This is just as bad as the employees leaving that filth on the slicers all day long (the manager does not even care about potentially spoiled meat contaminating everything that comes into contact with it). I asked him for the name and phone number to the district manager (because no one at that store cares for the health and safety of its customers). He came back and gave me a number and said if you leave a message, they will make sure it goes to the right person. I said I don't want to just leave a message and he then said this is where the district manager offices out of. He then said if I call during business hours I would not have to leave a message. I then asked again for the name of the district manager and he said "I don't know who has their office at that location. . . . The managers at that store do not care what their employees are doing (or not doing). They then try to play games with you when you bring up health concerns. The Health Department should have someone inspect them (preferable on a weekend evening). read more

I wish I could give this location -5 stars honestly. I get being short staffed but clearly they can't even prioritize. Having shopping carts inside the store should be the easiest thing to maintain, there's like 100 carts and y'all wait until there is ZERO to go get them. Im 8 months pregnant and having to carry my 2 year old all through the store is ridiculous. Luckily I had my oldest with me to carry what we bought. Dairy shelves full of mold. This is an ongoing issue. Each time I shop at this Kroger, the mold gets worse. Last time I spoke to a supervisor and apparently she did nothing because a week and a half later, it was worse. This time I spoke to the assistant manager and he said they'd take care of it but didn't have any concern in his tone, didn't acknowledge the health issue nor did he apologize. Surprising lack of customer service and professionalism for an assistant manager of a Kroger. Especially in this area. This is seems like one of the more run down Kroger stores in the area. The produce department smells like mildew. I'm not sure if that's due to the food or mold growing in another part and circling down through the air vents but it makes me super hesitant at buying anything from their department. Be aware of the male this store has at self checkout. He's a tall, at least 6 feet, older, white male. He's very rude and snobby. Seems to hate his job. I've encountered him numerous times, as this store is within minutes of my home, and every time he never fails to be rude and snobby. Yesterday I stopped to buy a few things. I happened to pick up a house plant that was not ringing up at self checkout. He decides to walk over remove the tag, show me the tag, as if I didn't know to scan the tag. Obviously it didn't ring up for him either and he goes "oh." Then he proceeds to scan the same tag 4 times as if it would magically ring up. Then he proceeds to override the price to $20.00 but the price tag on the plant read $19.97. So I asked why he couldn't ring it up for the price on the tag and he goes "wow, for 3 cents, what? You want to save 3 cents. Really?" To which I said "is that not the price on the tag and he kept going about how I really wanted to save 3 cents. Not sure why he felt the need to round the price tag. For whatever reason he couldn't ring up the plant at self checkout, so he takes me to customer service and continues to rant about how I was making a big deal over 3 cents. Then as he walks away from customer service he throws in a snarky "have a great day." Anywho the lovely ladies at customer service were great and apologized for this man's behavior. So I guess everyone who works with him knows about his rude, snarky, and snobby behavior. Bless his heart! read more

Worse experience ever had!!! I bought some of the ribeyes that were on sale and I get home and they were spoiled it had that distinct rotting meat smell and one of the ribeyes were turning color!!! I immediately took it back to return and when I got there I got even worse service!!! I understand it was 9pm but it was ridiculous how bad the service was. I went to the customer service department and was told this is closed but we will be right with after we explained what had happened. The manager on duty just walked away didn't come back for 15 minutes just left us there. We ended up getting someone else to help is who directed us to another supervisor who tried to help us. After they figured out how to return the steaks we found the manager on duty and found her name was Michelle all she said was sorry and walked away. That was it said sorry and walked away from a customer!!! I'm in retail management and you never ever walk away from customers until the situation is resolved but for some reason she felt it was ok. We will never do any of our shopping here at Kroger again we will take our business across the street to albertsons!! read more

Beware!!!! They are not following the Covid 19 procedures. Their carts are not cleaned before putting them back out for use. I only know because I watched a cashier put a dirty cart where the presumably clean carts were. When I talked to an employee about it, her response was well we keep sanitizer there for you to clean them! There was no sign saying you must clean your own carts. This is how COVID-19 spreads !!! You know its a fkin grocery store but its my go to place. Albertsons across the street sucks and is expensive so everyone goes here. People that work here are great, its you the customers....rude inconsiderate people i cant stand. Store has good variety, average at best produce and meat. Their pharmacy is always super fast, and the employees in the pharmacy are always extremely polite and helpful. I finally got tired of the slowness of the Walgreens across the street, and they switched the problem prescriptions over for me and had them ready for me within 30 minutes. I don't shop here too often for regular groceries, as I prefer to go to Sprout's and Aldi, but the pharmacy is absolutely top notch! read more

Typical Kroger. Nothing special. Just like other Kroger stores in the area, only worse. The produce section is just disgusting. Rarely kept stocked. Often missing thing or only undesirable remnants left. Often times there are spoiled or moldy items in the bins. The place is also infested with Fruit Flies, which has lead to that infestation spreading to my kitchen when bringing home fruits and vegetables. Has happened multiple times. Disgusting! I only come here if I absolutely have to. Otherwise, I go to one of several competitors in the area instead. It's a shame, I used to love Kroger when I lived in The Colony, which is a much older store. Must be a different management team on this side of DFW, or The Colony manager just cares more than the folks here. read more

I love this store and been coming here for years even on other holidays but today was a total nightmare. The parking lot was packed, cars not watching where they were going. I almost got hit by speeding cars a few times just trying to find a space this morning, then leaving was just as bad. Then I don't know who is training these teenagers that are bagging groceries, but they need to learn some manners. A Caucasian 15/16 year old boy bagged my groceries today and just shoved things in my personal bags, so bad my bread was all smashed and fruit was bruised . Also asked him as nice as I could to pack them lighter, all he did was look at me like I wasnt specking clear enough English for him. Then while walking out a manger came by me, said something real start to me and I tried to ask him for his help and all he did was keep on walking. Things that need fixed.... speed bumps everywhere!!!! Very busy Kroger, the lines are fairly fast and their chicken is good. I don't really ask for much like everybody else but they do have nice collection of ice cream, Walmart's picks are tbh old. Hey there, im not usually one to write reviews. Im very open and understanding due to working in customer service myself. I work in close contact with ppl every day due to being in the food service. This is not the first time i have experienced this at this Kroger. I understand that you dont take apple pay, i wasnt aware, i also understand that if i dont have other form of payment i just have to suck it up and leave lol but i was at register 3, with Cheryl, once i figured it out, assuming yall maybe used to take it, i asked "oh so you dont anymore?" Asking a simple question, i got sassed at, she rolled her eyes after i said i dont have any other form of payment, and starting taking everything back. Trust me i under being under stress working in customer service, whether its with a register or making someone drinks at a coffeeshop, I've done both. THERE IS NO REASON TO SASS ANS BE RUDE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! If i acted like this to a customer i would feel bad about it, theres never an excuse to be rude, if your upset keep it to yourself. This location is clean and they offer great customer service..esp in the deli department! Everyone is friendly and whenever I do my couponing here, I don't get awkward glances like I do at other stores. They offer fast checkout lanes with really nice associates there. Only for bakery Dept. Have bought several cakes including my wedding cake. Cakes are awesome and would definitely recommend them for that... But... Was told today by the new "cake decorator" that they no longer decorate cakes as she does not "free hand" any decoration because they will get a $10,000 fine if she does but did recommend that we go to another Kroger instead. So in fact, I did leave and spent money at a bakery in alliance instead. Have had great experiences in ALL other departments as well as checkouts. Everyone else has been wonderful. 10+ year customer. Unsatisfactory customer service. Wanted to get chicken breast and they were out of the cheaper options, leaving only the more expensive organic chicken. Not what I wanted, but I settled for it since it was getting late and I wanted to avoid another trip. However, the cashier forgot to bag it and I didn't notice until I got home. I called that night and asked if I could get a refund, and they said I could if I returned with a receipt, and I told them I planned to do so the next day. When I did, the person there claimed nobody left a note, and initially refused to do anything but let me get a different piece of chicken. She finally said "Just this once..." and that I could get a refund, but instead of a credit to my card or cash, she gave me a GIFT CARD instead. I was so worn down that I accepted it when I shouldn't have. Never had this much trouble with a grocery store before. Won't be returning. read more

have had two absolutely horrible experiences shopping at Kroger and it does not seem to get any better! Last week I found a live fly in a package of Vanilla Loaf Cake I picked up from their Bakery section. Luckily, the nasty fly caught my attention just as I was about to pay for my groceries at self check out. I called over the Attendant and brought it to her attention and her attitude was astonishing! First of all, she did not believe me and had to locate the fly for herself and during the whole time period she was extremely rude! Yes, she took the item off from my list when asked but, she did not apologize or offer to possibly get another package- or anything! When I was leaving, she practically stood in my way and glared at me as I left the store! I am truly perplexed by this attitude, as being the Customer, I was the one that should have been somewhat put out by what could have been a major inconvenience to me, if I had purchased the Vanilla Loaf Cake and got home and then realized there was a stow away in the package! Friday evening was no better! My son and I stopped in to quickly pick up a few items, when we were singled out and racially profiled! Not only did the employee come over the speaker requesting Security in the section we were shopping in but when we were at self check out, the Attendant raised the volume on the scanner I was at, to the point it was practically shouting at me and half the store for each item I rang up. From what I did notice, this was not done to the person on the other side of me or across from me. So, yes! I do feel that we were singled out, profiled and discriminated against! These actions are not only unnecessary they are deplorable! Was this treatment, retaliation for the fact that I pointed out a living insect, in one of your products the previous week or was it because my son and I are of biracial descent? Kroger My mom went to her neighborhood Kroger. She's a regular customer. This Kroger became a safe place for us after my car accident because it was easy access, down the street, and the staff was always kind. Anyway, my mom was checking out when a cashier turned off her light on Reg 12 and the cashier told her (in a snippy tone) to go to another line, cool, cashiers take breaks so she didn't sweat it. So my mom hopped over to the next line (Reg 11) and proceeded checking out when....she noticed the cashier on Reg 12 was checking out more customers....weird. So my mom asked another cashier who the manager was...because honestly that was pretty rude. THE CASHIER WHO TOLD MY MOM TO GO TO ANOTHER LINE WAS THE MANAGER. So this manager checks out her final people and goes to customer service and my mom followed to speak to her. (My mom coming from a customer service background, she wanted to give some feedback) My mom's English is choppy at times but gets her point out. This manager proceeded to just look at my mom like a straight weirdo. So my mom asked "are you racist?" and she said "YES. I'M RACIST" Which triggered a few more things: She told my mom to leave after making that wicked statement. She threatened to call the cops after my mom said she "no" because she was trying to grasp the situation. She then started accusing my mother of stealing items that were already in her cart, AND PAID FOR. Then LIED TO HER MANAGER ABOUT IT ALL. ***Managers name is Stephanie. She was working yesterday around 9PM** I grew up coming here and this has NEVER happened. For my mom to be treated like this because she's Hispanic is honestly just total bull. read more
