Favorite Kroger to date! I am a frequent Kroger shopper and have been to numerous stores all over Georgia. This by far, is the best one I have ever been to! It's a fairly new store. Everything is clean and organized. Parking it plentiful and has never been an issue, even during busy days/holidays. It has so much to offer. In addition to the typical grocery store items and sections, they also offer the following: Gas station Wine and Beer section Hot Bar Salad Bar Starbucks Clothing department Beauty department 2-3 Self-checkout stations Scan, Bag, and Go Kroger Pickup (Clicklist) Everything about this store is big. The produce section is big, the deli is big, the clothing department is big, the beauty department is big. You get the idea. The store layout is functional and has a nice flow. Again, everything is organized. Shelves are well stocked and have a wide selection of items. The produce is fresh. The best part, the excellent customer service! Every member I have encountered has been very friendly and helpful. Some of them even go out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. So glad that this Kroger is close to me!

We actually like shopping at the big store. This Kroger is no exception. It has everything you need or want. The store is arranged in easy to find departments. We eased our way from the very start looking at a fantastic array of cheeses. Saw colorful settings and displays at the fruits and produce section. Picked the Mandarins and saw the cart with unsold, over ripped bananas. A Yong lady informs that these bananas are discounted for fast sale at 49cents a BUNCH. Naturally, I picked two of the best bunches. After having picked up some more items, we got in line at self checkout. We first got some issues with scanning and Kroger coupons. A very helpful lady attendant helped us out. Bananas are next. Ooopsie, we got to weigh them and the price is 49cents per LB. Not what was told us earlier. So we need help deleting the bananas. The lady attendant Chk 515 was the best of Kroger you can find. Understood fully and apologized for the misap. I think that this Kroger is a wonderful store full of all the grocery and pharmacy needs. Just go about it a little slower and pay attention to price points. Thanks, we can get bananas later.

I remember when customer service used to be a thing. It would be great for Kroger's to teach these kids a thing or two about customer service. But, instead they hang out at the check stands. Chit chatting and watching their cell phones. More and more self check out lanes ... because it is too unimaginable to have staff work. So, instead ... I work all day. Go to the grocery store to walk isle after isle pick up groceries to unload at self check out, when I scan each item and then bag and reload into my cart to be loaded into my car. All the while the staff is sitting around watching, chit chatting and scanning their cell phones. Then we wonder what's wrong with our youth today. Why don't they know or understand about customer service? Why don't they want to work a real job? No. They want to get paid for doing absolutely nothing and Kroger's is enabling them. Teaching them to just stand around and let the customers do all the work. Ridiculous. I'm not old, but I'm old enough to remember what customer service looks like and you won't find it here.

Hello! Let me be the first to review the brand new Kroger on Bethelview! This location officially opened on 6/27/18, hubby and I checked it out today and were very impressed! Lots of employees buzzing around, lots of management there helping customers, the store was squeaky clean, very organized, and well stocked. It's a big Kroger store, I was told by a staff member that it's the same size as the Dawsonville store. Here's just a few options the store offers: Starbucks Beer & wine (draft too I think??) Sushi bar Pizza bar Sandwich bar Meals to go Clothing (shoes, some clothing, etc) Large beauty area (lots of makeup) Grab & go - frozen entrees by the pound that you heat up when you get home. They also offer Scan, bag, go, which I was not familiar with until today when I noticed customers with scanners in their carts and I asked a customer about it. Here's what I was told: Entering the store a Kroger employee gives you a scanner, each time you scan your item it totals up your purchases and you put your items into the bags they give you (I don't think u pay for the actual bags?), then when you are done shopping you go to the self serve checkout and pay. No need for a clerk to do all the scanning, you've already done it! I asked how digital coupons worked with this and I think you can access your Kroger Plus card on the scanner and thus pull in your digital coupons. I'll have to give it a try next time. The prices were pretty good today! Got a deal on ribeyes, ribs, shrimp, etc. the guys in the meat dept were very friendly and even cut up some ribeyes for me. I saw some grand opening specials that required the Kroger Ap, so I downloaded that but got stuck on adding my Kroger Plus card, I stopped an employee for help, and he quickly helped me out! Nice job! They were cooking ribs outside and were giving samples - very good ribs! If this location can keep up this level of customer service, organization and freshness, we may consider doing our weekly shopping here instead of Publix! Only time will tell. Nice job Kroger! Happy Grand Opening!

Nice store. Was treated horribly by an employee for asking where something was. I apologized for bothering her.

THE PERFECT "GO TO" OPTION!…read more Finding lunch in Cumming is always a challenge because there just isn't enough variety. After driving around for a while, I decide that we should just find an Ingles. They have a cute eat-in cafe and I knew that I could get a warm bowl of soup on this cold and rainy day. We find this convenient store just minutes East of 400 and go in for lunch. I decide to get a couple of chicken wings and a bowl of chicken and noodle soup. My husband decides on a salad and two chicken strips. My soup was a very generous serving of chicken with pasta noodles. It was hot, hearty and delicious. The full size chicken wings were perfect. My husband's salad appeared to be super fresh and his chicken strips were very nice, not greasy or salty, just fresh. For dessert we decided on the always fresh and delicious donuts. They were so good that we purchased a box to go for the family. No matter what time they are purchased, they are always fresh. We really enjoyed our very casual lunch and Ingles will always be an option for a quick and easy lunch on the go. ***In addition to their hot food bar, you can always get a custom made sandwich with Boar's Head cheese. The soup and salad bar is a favorite while the bakery never disappoints! ***You can pay for your lunch right in the deli department where the employees are super nice and helpful. ***They always have bottled beverages and water chilling on ice next to the salad bar. I love this courtesy!

You can tell the leadership is strong here. Adrienna, the GM, and Aly, the assistant manager, have clearly built a team with great morale, because every single person I passed greeted me, offered help, and just felt genuinely kind. Jonathan in produce was a standout. He helped me pick the right items and even pointed out which displays were freshest. The deli also had some surprisingly great protein bowl options that I hadn't seen before, which made grabbing lunch way too easy. And walking in to see new bakery items right at the front? Loved that. It set the tone for the whole trip. Clean store, great energy, and a team that clearly cares. This location is doing it right.

Many people in the area recognize him instantly--he looks like Santa Claus and was a familiar, friendly presence to customers for years. After more than a decade of loyalty, and just one month before becoming eligible for retirement benefits, a new manager, Richard Dunn, terminated his employment for what can only be described as a trivial and unnecessary reason. My father is 67 years old and never shied away from hard work. In a short period of time, my dad lost his wife to cancer and his mother the year before. Despite everything, he continued showing up and doing his job. Firing him two weeks before Christmas and weeks before his retirement benefits vested demonstrates a shocking lack of compassion and respect. This decision reflects extremely poorly on the management at this location. I will personally be boycotting this store and encouraging others to do the same. I cannot support a business that allows leadership to treat long-term, elderly employees in such a callous manner. Kroger, you can and should do better.

I've been in the store more times than I can remember and raised my son on some of Ester's Publix Apron recipes. It has been a good relationship until October 2, 2025 when one of the store managers, Mark forgot the basic principle for Publix. The Publix Promise is rooted in the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and transparency. FAILED Immediate Resolution: Pricing mistakes are resolved on the spot, eliminating the need for customers to return to customer service for corrections. FAILED (Check the tape and see exactly how long I waited and how long it took for Mark to come and dismiss me) Customer Empowerment: Cashiers are trained to handle pricing discrepancies efficiently, ensuring that customers feel valued and respected. FAILED (Mark missed a training opportunity) The cashier, whose name I withhold out of respect for age and lack of experience, was not the one who devalued me and disrespected me; that was all on the manager Mark. I can only assume that he felt the cashier told him everything he needed to know, thus dismissing me as an interruption to his day. Sadly, he hasn't a clue. We're all entitled to a bad day, so I'm hoping it's just that and not a sign of things to come at my neighborhood Publix. I was there before Mark came and will probably be there when he leaves. If today is any indication of things to come...it won't be long. I was intentionally vague because I'm convinced Mark is still clueless as to exactly what happened. I know this for a fact because I was actually trying to help. Please spare me any copy-and-paste or prearranged apologies and explanations. You can also keep your store credit or gift card. This wasn't a money grab, simply a paying customer offering feedback as a gift so that Publix can get back on track. I waited at least 15 minutes for Mark to leave me shaken and disturbed. Overview of the Publix Promise The Publix Promise is a customer satisfaction policy that ensures fair pricing at checkout.
