Security Guard grabbing my cart aggressively from me. Police was waiting behind the register to arrest me.

Horrible experience at Midtown Kroger Security guard followed me around the store for the entire 40 minutes that I was shopping. I went to the front to check out, the security guard ran and stood outside the door. After I checked out, I went to hang out on the Beltline deck and left my cart inside. I talked to many people on the deck. I have been shoppig at this Kroger for 10 years, several times a week I returned to the front to exit an hour later. The security guard ran over and said that he had to check my receipt. I was livid and said no. I started pushing my cart to go get a Manager. He forcefully grabbed my cart forcefully and pulled it away from. I started talking loudly so that everyone could hear me. All the Cashiers and people checking out were looking. One of the Cashiers yelled that she had checked me out. He still held on to my cart. I went to go find, who was probably watching the whole fiasco on camera. The Manager came over then looked at my receipt. He apologized and proceeded to walk out with me. I didn't notice that there a policeman behind the counters. They probably called him while I was outside and he was waiting to arrest me. I'm still upset. This happened Thursday. I called the Corporate Office, they didn't seem to concerned. I will follow up Monday

At home waiting for my groceries to arrive 2hrs later I get this

I'm an independent senior citizen and don't drive, living in the NE area of town. Today I contacted Kroger Customer Service @#800-576-4377, after not receiving my delivery order on time and each agent I spoke to wasn't able to offer any resolve for my missing order via Kroger delivery truck, after many calls to the customer service 2hrs post delivery time, and I still hadn't received my food order, I was told my order was cancelled by the Kroger delivery team because driver couldn't deliver the groceries to the leasing office, the delivery instructions printed on my account never requested delivery to the leasing office but instead had precise instructions to call when at gate for gate code and instructions to apt. I've used Kroger delivery multiple times and even considering Boost benefits. But no longer will I be a loyal Kroger Customer!!! and I will file my complaint of this matter on platforms to share my experience with others in case this is something that frequently happens and I didn't know about. How disappointed I was having been left stranded without food from this delivery and the hold up on my delivery fee for 5 days before the bank will release funds. This should not have happened I've had many previous deliveries to the same address without difficulty or complications. Sincerely Former Kroger Customer

I shop here only on Sunday mornings after church, and that's if I take the long way home. For the most part, I'm impressed with this Kroger. Parking is always readily available. Other than the employees at the cash registers, everyone else have been friendly and helpful, even to the point where they've gone out of their way to ask if I needed help looking for something and didn't act like I was inconveniencing them when I said yes. One time, one of the produce employees noticed me looking at the brown heads of lettuce (they were supposed to be green!), and told me he would go to the back and get a lot more heads that were a lot more fresh if I could wait a few minutes for him to do so. I told him that I'd be in the produce area. Sure enough, within 5 minutes, he had a case of better looking lettuce AND he had picked out 3 big heavy ones to save me time looking through the rest of them. Nice touch! This store is big and has a lot more staffed departments than other Kroger stores. For instance, their Bistro, cheese department, sushi making department, deli, bakery and meat department are all fully staffed! I've always found what I was looking for at this store. Everything that I've noted above place this store at a higher level than other Krogers. Prices are the same here as any Kroger. A word of caution - Sunday mornings seem to be the time that many of the departments seem to replenish their shelves and stock, so you may have to detour around stocking carts parked in aisles.

Bait & Switch Re: Kroger.com site: Maybe you like to browse your local Kroger store prices or inventory, but you have never input all your personal data to Kroger.com in order to setup an online account. Or, you do have an account but you prefer regularly clearing your browser's cache and NOT logging into your account for simple product pricing and inventory. If one or the other is true, then since around January 28, 2020, you are no longer seeing accurate inventory or pricing info for your own local store. Kroger.com now opens to a default page claiming "Russellville" (Arkansas, pop. approx 30k) as your "Pickup" store. If you download a preview or weekly ad at that point, you will get the circular for R-ville. Also, anything typed into the product search form will return results only pertinent to that Arkansas store no matter where you actually live and shop. Moreover, even if you input your own zip code to change store and pull up your local store ad, the "pickup" store will remain as Russellville and still anything typed into the site's product search form will return results only true for that Arkansas location! We have discovered there can be significant differences between our store flyer prices and what shows up from doing an online search now. Also you can get false results saying an item is "not found" and vice versa when it's not actually the case for your local store. We have informed Kroger's design team and marketing execs about this new design change for 2020. They have expressed zero interest in returning Kroger.com to displaying a user's true Geo-location like it always had in the past. Their clear intent is forcing every shopper to open an online account, whether they need it or not, and then forcing all users to always be logged into it in order to see accurate data for their local shopping. It's not just a case of gathering all that initial personal info from consumers (with always a likelihood it can be hacked and stolen), but also they want to have a Big Brother eyeball on every user keystroke, something they can't currently do if you're browsing the site while not logged in. And remember, to browse at other large retailers -- Amazon.com, Walmart.com or Meijer.com, for e.g. -- you are not required to login to any account you've set up to view accurate local info, because they still display your true Geo-location, which is picked up automatically from your laptop or other device. Until Kroger.com returns to showing our local store information, we are taking more of our shopping dollars to Aldi's and Meijer stores. Let them know how user UNfriendly, coercive and cumbersome this new policy is for consumers, and maybe they'll revert to doing the right thing by us.

Thank you Kroger for being open today Easter Sunday! This was my to go supermarket for a couple of years before I moved. Hands down Kroger is the least expensive supermarket in comparison to the others now closest to me.... I also miss using my membership card. I would always let the cashier ring up all of my items before presenting my card. There was just something about seeing my $ total go down at the end. It felt like being in a couponing show! This Kroger has ample parking and products are easy to locate once inside. The prices of their flowers are pretty fair, which is important to those folks who like to bring flowers home often....

The shelves are always fully stocked, there is a great selection of fruits and vegetables and the workers there are always willing to help.

A trip around the world and a walk down memory lane…read more It's been decades since I stepped foot inside the Buford Highway Farmers Market, and being back felt like a beautiful reunion. The last time I walked these aisles, I was with my mama, Donna Theresa. So much has changed since then, yet the soul of this place remains as vibrant as ever. It feels more expansive than I remember. A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. Coming back here wasn't just a grocery trip; it was a win for my palate and my heart. Now that I'm back in the area, you can bet this is becoming a regular stop on my rotation. I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I open the fridge a few days later on March 15, finally ready to prepare the tofu, just to see that the exp date on the pack was March 10. This picture was taken March 15 upon this discovery. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.
