My wife and I came in on a whim; we were downtown Carrolton on business and we had been craving barbecue and kept smelling BBQ as we walked around the squares. I finally Google mapped BBQ in the area and Kristi's showed up. They have good reviews and were only a couple blocks away. Came inside, it's a small diner style joint, very clean. We were greeted immediately by the 2 owners, both wonderful ladies. I ordered the Krazy Kristi's sandwich which is a chicken on brioche with fries and a side. I opted for the potato salad and coleslaw for my sides. The chicken is great just by itself, tender and tasty and you get alot of meat. The brioche bun was fresh, the coleslaw is creamy and perfect for BBQ, the potato salad is like a Carolina blend, has great flavor, with cheese and bacon on top is great (I usually only prefer a mustard based potato salad so for me to like this was rare!). My wife order the Pig-out Sandwich, pulled pork on brioche, the pork is tendered and very nicely seasoned. For her sides she had mac'n'cheese and green beans, the beans were STOOPID good! Prices were excellent especially for the amount and quality of great food. Parking is good. Service is great. Food is wonderful. Highly recommend and will definitely return. read more

Excellent. Chili Cheese Slaw Dog. Large and prepared to order. I have been told by friends that the BBQ sandwich is outstanding.

I was craving a burger today. Decided to try this place because it has good reviews on Yelp. And while I don't eat burgers often, it seemed like every bite I took had a piece of cartilage or connective tissue in it. Terrible meat quality in my opinion. Pictured are all the pieces I had to fish out of my mouth that were inedible. And that lovely circled one almost broke my tooth it was so hard. The smoked chicken is good. The bun was watery from the chicken for some reason. The fries are very good and the beans are really good too! Dad decided on the hamburger steak and it's just a plain hamburger patty. It was good just not what he was expecting. Great service and really good tea! read more

Dude, everything was BOMB, my god. I got the pork sandwich. Their bbq sauce is amazing but the meat is so well seasoned it doesn't even need it. The steak burger is also amazing. Get the taters appetizer, you won't regret it. read more

I ordered a barbecue sandwich, potato salad, and coleslaw. Flavorless, not bad tasting. Heavy mayonaise bland coleslaw dressing, and the same on the potato salad. The barbecue had no spice. Very bland. The sause was separate, which would be fine, but was obviously poured out of a cheap bottle of store brand. I took it home to doctor it up so it was appetizing. We've eaten here several times and it's consistently very good - from the bbq (yummy), choice of bbq sauces (4), fresh handmade French fries, portions (enough for at least two meals), service (outstanding) to the while-you-wait boiled peanuts (someone knows how to do them right!). The menu has a nice selection of food to choose from, and don't forget to check the chalkboard on the wall for the Specials. The last time we were there, they had Duck Nuts as a dessert option but we were too stuffed to try them. read more

DELICIOUS!! I had a pork sandwich and large fry. Tender pork stacked high with 2 sauce choices on the side( mustard and sweet, both delicious). The bun was super soft on the outside and grilled inside, with 4 large dill pickle chips on the side. Fresh homemade seasoned fries with NO HIGH FRUCTOSE ketchup packs! (Who does that I am stuffed and satisfied! I will eat here again. 4/1/21 This time I tried "Kristi's Fries ", Wow! Excellent order of fries! Plate was loaded with thin sliced potato wedges, seasoned perfectly, with melted cheddar cheese , real bacon bits and a side of ranch dressing. Kristi's beef ribs are fantastic! I've struggled getting beef ribs after moving to Georgia and now I'm no longer missing it ! Between the rub, BQQ sauce and beef falling off the bone I was falling in the floor with a blissful delight. Thank you so much for taking a chance on these ribs.
