The catch is, you have the order TWO apps at 9.99 each. Granted, that's not the end of the world considering the deal you're getting. Moving on, I actually had a nice time. My service was good. A little slow, but my server was really kind and friendly the times I did see her. I also heard from her that they're having a few staffing changes so maybe that means it'll pan out better in the future. My food was great on the other hand. Hot, fresh, and accurate. Since I mostly came for my apps and hockey, I'd say that was the perfect fit. My real only issue, is why, at 9:30 at night, are the lights on full blast? I'm trying to watch a game, which is the main reason most people come to BWW, considering they have at least 10 tv screens in view at all times. It was brighter than a high school gym in there. The chairs were uncomfortable, with curved edges that pressed into my kidneys the entire time. It reminded me of sitting in a high school classroom desk rather than relaxing at a restaurant. Service wise I didn't really know who my server was, maybe they switch? I ordered the mac and cheese and felt pretty neutral about it. I was not digging it, but I was not hating it either. When I spend top dollar on a steak, I expect that to be the best thing you do, the flavor that brings people back. On this visit, it was the opposite. Now, credit where it's due: the strawberry Huckito was very good, and I absolutely recommend it. Also, the service was great, friendly, attentive, and professional. But when the most expensive item on the menu comes out poorly cooked and bland, it makes you start looking elsewhere to spend your money.
