I got a perm from another stylist 2 weeks before my haircut with Belle. The perm left my hair extremely damaged and I didn't know how to style it, so I just had it up in a clip everyday. Belle gave me the perfect haircut to accentuate the curls and get rid of most of the damage. I feel incredibly light and free. I trust Belle 100% with my hair - she really really really knows what she is doing! She's so attentive to lifestyle and the needs of her clients. I don't think I will ever trust anyone else to cut my hair again, unless it's Belle (like, I would literally fly to her if I needed a haircut). Edit: I have received more compliments on my hair than I can count... from nearly all the people in my life and perfect strangers :)

I'm having trouble coming up with the proper words to describe the amazing experience that I had…read morewith Belle yesterday. As another reviewer mentioned this is so very much more than a trip to the salon! Belle is a radiant spirit and I have never felt more comfortable or important with a stylist as I did with Belle. To the details, first making the appointment was a breeze. I had some issues with making an appointment on her website (since fixed) so I sent an email to request the appointment. Her quick response was a plus and the information she provided was terrific. From the beginning I had a sense that she was invested in me and I had hope that this was going to be a good experience. I was an amazing experience! From the moment she greeted me I felt comfortable, it was like meeting an old friend. Additionally, this is the first time I've ever met with a stylist that I did not feel judged. I had no make-up on, my dull hair was pulled back and I looked...what do you call a step below super casual? You'll see in the before and after pics that Belle took. I had a cut, color and make-up lesson. While my color was processing Belle also invited me to meditate with her. The meditation was powerful and so needed for me at this particular time in my life. I was looking for a radically different look and Belle explained the pros and cons of each color choice I was considering. I settled on a Jet Black and I loooooovvvvvveeee it! Belle is also the very first stylist that has given me the exact haircut that I wanted. It's amazing and comfortable. My hair feels and looks great. The make-up lesson was fantastic. I love how she does this. She would do one step on one side of my face and have me to the same step on the other side. She explained everything and was very helpful and hands on correcting my technique. At the end of our time together, I was transformed. I'm also getting a little emotional writing this, because, after a long and difficult four years, I honestly felt beautiful. I can't thank Belle enough for that. She is amazing, comforting and hands down the best stylist that I have ever been to. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment now! See for yourself the amazing work she can do!

As a random first-time Groupon client, Kelley could have cropped and dropped me in a heartbeat, but…read moreshe didn't. She took the time to really LOOK, TALK, and DISCUSS me. ME. No up-sell. No shenanigans. No "well if you..." NO! Kelley is the type of person that will discuss at length with you what you want your hair to look like and what you are willing to deal with. I expressed early on that I didn't want to deal with styling. Kelley found a way to tap into my tresses' wavelength (sad attempt at pun for wavy hair) and now I have a style I can wash, comb, sprunch minimally on the way to work, and have adorably styled hair without all the damaging heat (and time suck). But.. (there is always a but)... her true magic is in her coloring skills. Kelley is a color NINJA! Kelley pulled out her swatches like a fricken Samurai and wielded them like I was a Japanese princess worthy of... holy hyperbole... let's just say she picked out amazing color. You know it's amazing color when all but 3 out of ALL OF THE GRAYS have been organically annihilated and your own personal title of "urban hippie" hasn't been compromised. This is the most natural looking dye job I have ever had. Let's just say, Kelley knows what she's doing. She selected the most amazing color combinations to gracefully transition my roots/prior dye hacks and gray hairs into a color scheme that is not only conducive to growing out but also incredibly healthy for my hair. Compliment #1: "Your hair is so much more shiny, what did you do?" Compliment #2: "Your hair is so soft, I want to shave you and weave your trimmings into a scarf" Compliment #3: "I didn't know you had curly hair?" Ok, so compliment 3 really isn't a "compliment" by conventional standards. The compliment is the fact that not only did Kelley quell the uneven tonal quality of my hair, but she ultimately improved and amplified my hair's natural tendencies. Kelley makes magic happen. Just go to Kelley.

After being in her hands for a couple hours, my hair health and look has turned around completely - it is almost as if she performed a miracle. It is soft, stylish, and radiating. The Kelley Cut has given me a style that I don't even need to blow dry - a dab of product and a comb out is all I need to attain that stylish but messy look I so desired. I am not easy to please - I wanted healthier hair, but I didn't want her to cut much length off. I didn't know what color I wanted, she helped me identify the right color for my eye color. She managed to hit all my concerns. She's amazing! Thank you, Kelley!
