First off: the food was outstanding. The kind of meal where everyone at the table were all raving about their food. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and fast considering the size of our group. Second: the staff deserves a medal. Not only were they friendly and efficient, but they also went above and beyond splitting checks for all 11 people individually without making us feel like we'd committed a felony. Anyone who has ever dined with a large group knows this alone is a five-star act of heroism. The ambiance was fun, energetic, and just the right amount of spunky. It felt lively without being overwhelming, the kind of place where you immediately relax and accidentally stay longer than planned. And finally, the soundtrack. Whoever was running the music understood the assignment. Absolute bangers all night. At one point I genuinely wasn't sure whether I was there for dinner or about to break out into dance. Fantastic food, great vibes, awesome service, and a team that clearly knows how to handle groups without breaking a sweat. Would absolutely come back.

Bourbon street ALLEGES that they have Creole/Cajun style food... but the only Cajun/Creole thing here was the rice..maybe. This is essentially a Chinese place inside The Food Experience at The Corner Mall. Please. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seriously doubt Crab Rangoons, or fried chicken smothered in an abundantly saccharine sauce is something you will find in Louisiana, unless you walk into a Chinese restaurant. In regards to the chicken, other than the fact it was sugary sweet, based on the samples I could barely tell the differences between the four or five different varieties. Other than the fact it was loaded with sugar, It wasn't bad per se. This kind of chicken is very often found in Chinese eateries (especially fast food ones) found across the United States, and is pretty on par with that. Another concern I have is that some of the pieces were quite large, and therefore unwieldy to handle. Since this is a takeout style meal, it is typically not desirable to have to eat it with a knife as part of your utensils. The rice wasn't half bad, it was cooked well, and seemed like the most Cajun/Creole stuff in this place. I've never had the real stuff though, so don't quote me here. Crab Rangoons were also not half bad. The dough was decent, and the filling was okay too, although a little more crab would have been quite nice. Then, there's the final nail in the coffin that sent this place down with only one star... the service. I realize there was a language barrier, this is not my issue, the issue was how rushed they seemed to be. If there was a line out the door, that's one thing, in this case, there was no line, no even one person. When compared to this level of rushing, a popular NYC deli during lunch appears to be moving at a snail's pace. For instance: me asking a couple times asking what something was lead to them immediately grabbing containers and serving as if that is what I had ordered. I wonder whether my question of "What is this?" was even considered... as if they saw my pointy finger and immediately start loading the container. Even without this disconnect, some labels would be quite helpful! Another instance: I had finally decided what I wanted, and asked if I could have half-an-half of two chickens... their answer was to the affirmative, and they gave me the two chickens... okay great... I go to pay, and I am charged for three entrees. With the chicken and Rangoons, I was only expecting two. This is when they proceed to tell me, in an uncharacteristically loud manner (compared to the ordering process) that half-and-half on meat is not allowed. No problem... only where were you when I asked if that was okay? I explained that when I asked if half-and-half was allowed, I was told it was okay. The person who put the food together and who was now ringing me up called a manager (or coworker) who also told me the same thing in the same uncharacteristically loud fashion. I explained my case once again... They ended up removing one of the chickens from the container (I wasn't handed it yet, so no one tore anything out of my hands). ~~ So, let's see... The food and only the food would probably get three stars for A-OK. -1 star for the misrepresentation... this is not Cajun/Creole, not even close. -1 star for the rushed, unprofessional, inattentive, and quite frankly rude service. These star deductions is me being nice... only you can't really go lower than one star, so let's just leave it there.

They sell by the half pound or pound with their prices listed on the walls in the restaurant based on their current market prices. The portions felt like a lot for what we ordered as we split about three pounds of seafood between three people and were all stuffed. The mussels were big and shrimp were very fresh and clean. The medium sauce was not too spicy and it also came with a potato and small corn on the cob. I thought their garlic noodles were not as good as I've had at other seafood boils, but they do not skimp on the garlic! The restaurant has a spacious front dining area where you enter from the mall with tables for larger parties and the back area where there are a lot of tables for smaller groups. All tables are lined with paper as you'd expect from a seafood boil restaurant and they use all plastic ware and cups. The service was relatively quick and attentive and they also give you gloves, bib, and a bucket for the shells as you eat. I recommend ordering combos as a group if you are hungry as you get free sides depending on how many pounds you order.

This was an amazing find of a restaurant on our little trip to Boston. As of many of the other…read morereviews state, the biscuits are a must. They were the dark horse that I never would have thought about ordering normally. Biscuits for dinner? Eh. But they were delicious and lighter than expected and the pimento cheese I could have ate by the spoonfuls. The oysters were clean and delicious. Everything you hope to have from Northeast oysters especially being from Texas where most of the places here serve Gulf oysters that don't even come close to comparing. I could have drank the mignonette. The pimento mac n cheese was on point and flavorful (and again that pimento cheese, yum). The wagyu burgers were so good. The burger was tender and flavorful, the bread was soft and light and slightly sweet, and the onion ring added a great texture to the mix. Think of a amped up western burger. The ambiance was a cool vibe yet a home feel. We were seated quickly but it took awhile for anyone to acknowledge us. Service was good once it started and the food came out quickly. If we ever make it back to Boston, it will definitely be on our list to revisit. Great late dinner spot. Simple foods done right. (Oh, and the drinks were delicious. I wanted to try them all. Mine tasted exactly like an apple pie.)
