I finally stopped into Dave's Hot Chicken in Lebanon. It's not usually the type of food I'm…read morecraving, but I was out running errands and it was convenient, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the two tender and fry meal and also the three mozzarella stick meal (their mozzarella sticks are the thicker rectangular style, not the skinny round ones). It actually seemed like a better value to order the mozzarella stick meal because it also came with fries. One thing I found a little odd is that none of the meals come with a drink, which feels unusual for combo meals. The chicken tenders come with dry rub seasoning levels. We tried light, mild and hot flavors. The meals come with a slice of white bread, pickles, and a dipping sauce that tasted like a sweet mayo based sauce (possibly a ketchup/mayo blend). The food itself was fresh, hot, and seemed good quality overall. A couple small issues though. The pickles were placed touching the chicken tenders, which made part of the breading soggy by the time we got home. Also, when we were leaving the store, an employee came out to tell us we had forgotten one of our tenders in the bag. When we got home we also realized one order of fries was missing, so we almost left without a whole tender and did leave without one order of fries. For the amount of food we got (no drinks included), the total was around $29, which felt a little high considering the missing item. Overall, the food itself wasn't bad it was actually pretty good and clearly made fresh. But between the price, missing items, and the fact that it's just not something I usually crave, it's probably not somewhere I'll be going back to often.

We tried the new Dave's Hot Chicken tonight and it was very good!!! The chicken tenders are very…read morelarge and very good. You select what "heat/seasoning" you want and they prepare it fresh. First time visiting Mick's while in town for a homecoming event. Stopped in for a happy hour snack…read moreand I thought this pub was well placed in the local neighborhood---lots of housing building up in the area and I found this place to be a great neighborhood bar. So, didn't have expectations for outstanding food but rather good bar food. It has just that! The place was clean, welcoming, and had expansive windows to enjoy the fall sun shining through. Good mix of comfy table seating, bar height seating, and seating at the bar. For the more adventurous, the was also ample outside seating. I experienced exceptional, attentive service during a busy happy hour on a Friday night. Ordered their Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese and their white pizza with extra cheese---both passed the litmus test for bar food so I give the place thumbs up in this regard. Overall, as I mentioned early, a good experience at a local neighborhood pub! Worth a visit if you are in town!

Have been to Mick's about 6 times in the last year or so…read more Food is usually ave to good for a sports bar. On Tuesday 6-16-26 my visit terrible. Ordered Chili with a Sandwich. The chili was inedible. Dry no moisture at all. Just a ball of meat and beans. Explained to the waitress. She was not trained properly to respond. She did ask if she could get me another one and would let the manager know. Didn't want another she said would take it off the bill. A few minutes later I guess the manager who I thought was a bartender came over to ask about the Chili. I explained and asked her if she saw what they were serving. She said no didn't see it. Apologized. Also not a trained manager. She should have checked to see what the product looked like. Should have done more than deducted the one item off the check. Whether it was a come back coupon or another perk. Not only that but the sandwich was also poorly made . It is obvious that neither the kitchen cares nor the manager. Training and supervisory assistance is needed at this unit.

If you haven't been before, the vibe at Raising Cains is fun - think disco balls and Elvis art with a crown on top. The counter folks were all friendly, and I wasn't expecting that they would deliver food to our table, but they did. The food at Raising Cains was good, but didn't live up to all the hype for me. No complaints about the food, it was good. But my expectations were fairly high after hearing lots of folks talk about it. The chicken was crispy and not greasy as fried food can be. The fries were good -not soggy and not overcooked. I'm still assessing my thoughts about the sauce. I didn't feel like I was overwhelmed by the taste, but I did keep going back to it and dipping my fries and chicken in it until it was all gone. So maybe I liked it more than I realized? I'd give it a solid 3.5 stars. This was a 35 minute drive for me, so I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to do this again because of the distance. But we had a good meal here and a pleasant experience.

When the waitress finally arrived, she mentioned she was the only one working and implied that the slow service would continue throughout the evening. Thankfully, my husband quickly looked up another local spot, and that's when we found Captain Krab Cajun Seafood & Boil--what a blessing! Not only did we enjoy incredible food and exceptional service, but both the server and the owner went above and beyond to make our daughter's birthday truly special. We were treated to fresh, delicious seafood, a sparkler candle dessert, a plush gift for the birthday girl, and even a light-up birthday sign! We felt like part of their family. We ordered oysters, clam chowder, boiled eggs, baby clams, and snow crab legs--everything was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. You can even customize your meal by choosing from four different seasonings and five levels of spiciness, which makes it ideal for families or groups with mixed tastes. One of the most fun parts? You can write on the walls, tables, and even the ceiling! They also have a claw machine for the kids (and kids at heart). We'll absolutely be back next time we're in town! P.S. It's BYOB!
