The buffet opened at 5:00 so we got in line at 4:45 and we noticed there was quite a line forming. A host called for the VIP people to head to the left and they had a special cashier handling these guests. You pay first and then a server escorts you to a table. They were seating people outside on the covered deck too. The employees said it is quite nice out there with the heaters. Since it was a rainy and cold day, we decided to be seated indoors. The interior is smaller than I expected and they gave us a large table off to the side. The line for the buffet looked long but it moved along. There is an adjacent room where you go for the main menu items (pasta, egg rolls, Asian chicken, soups, rolls, prime rib, chicken piccata, fish, shrimp, salads, etc), and desserts are just outside of this room. The line for the buffet formed straight through the dining room so we were walking right next to tables where guests were eating. I was glad we didn't get seated in this area. The food was surprisingly good. My favorites were the prime rib, cranberry wild rice, and mashed potatoes. Their Caesar salad was really fresh with crisp greens and lots of shaved parmesan. The prime rib carver will ask your preference on how you like your meat cooked. I asked for a small piece but the nice carver is happy to give you larger cuts too. We all agreed that their prime rib was excellent. The employees are all very sweet. They ask for drink orders and they are good about removing your empty dishes. Desserts were okay, but nothing exceptional. We all said if they had soft serve, we would be elated. We all agreed that this dinner was 100% better than the Thanksgiving meal we had in November but the employees were super nice and accommodating both times we were there. Dining area is clean and managed well. The greatest thing is that this place is non-smoking! There is a large multi-level parking garage.

Service is good but the food is just okay. We went for the $28 prime rib dinner special and it felt like the baked potatoes were cooked yesterday and then warmed up. The vegetables were most likely from a frozen bag. The glass of red wine tasted like it was from a bottle that had been opened a few days before - we couldn't finish it. The prime rib was good but we were a bit disappointed with the overall dining experience. It was basically cafeteria food: edible but not memorable.

Inside, the décor strikes that rare balance of "tastefully inviting" without veering into "stock photo of a restaurant." Now, let's talk about the fries. These are not just fries. These are fries -- crispy to the point where you briefly wonder if they've achieved a new state of matter somewhere between solid and shatter. The chicken Banh Mi was excellent in every conceivable way, save for one audacious choice: the toasted roll. I'm used a softer roll is all. The spicy chicken sandwich and the burger, however, were flawless -- tender and flavorful. Service was genuinely great, and we left already plotting our return. When I showed my boyfriend our options, this one stood out because of the fried chicken sandwich on the menu. It did not disappoint us! It was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside with a house ranch dressing. We also ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts that had a delicious maple taste with bacon. The Brussel sprouts were crispy and soft which was the best of both worlds. I ordered the risotto verde and loved the flavors of it along with the veggies they chose to put in. I was impressed that the lemon flavor was potent throughout the dish even when I got to the bottom, the lemon flavor was consistent and refreshing, it didn't just feel squeezed on top. Before they brought us a menu for dessert, my boyfriend said if they have a cheesecake, we are getting it! They did indeed have a citrus cheesecake and we got it along with the 2 cookies. We loved the citrus cheesecake that looked like it had lemon shavings in it too. The ambiance was cute and had a homey feel to it with the fruit wall art, and the pattern chair cushions. Overall a stand out spot both in ambiance and food.
