The most recent time, I put in an online order for an office treat. Online ordering was pretty straight forward and can be scheduled ahead (up to about a week). Picking up was straight forward as well. You go to registers and show your conformation email. If you want the limited edition, you can't order them online. The parking lot is a shared parking lot. Entering the parking lot was easier than exiting. Exiting felt like exiting a venue or amusement park at the end of the day.

There's also other food items you can grab in their large display like donuts and more. Service: There can be a bit of a wait, but the location can be busy, so it was understandable. Straightforward ordering process like at any other standard fast food spot Ambiance: Casual and convenient, with the café stand portion being outside. I tried Tim Hortons' Cilantro Lime Veggie Loaded Bowl (that isn't so loaded), and asked for it without the cheese and sauce. They got the "exclude cheese" part right, but added the sauce on the rice & veggies anyway. The rice itself was flavourful and contained little bits of corn and black beans. I liked the crispy fried onion that they put on the rice. The "veggies" were just shredded lettuce and little bits of tomato (as expected). Not sure what the cilantro lime sauce was made of, but it just looked like a creamy white salad dressing. Portion size was small. It's ok as a snack or if you want a very small meal. The verdict? It's what you'd expect from a coffee shop chain -- very basic but passable taste-wise.

Compared with the real artisanal donuts I have tried elsewhere, these don't feel particularly unique. I've ordered the Nutella Bomb, Crème Brûlée , Boston Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake, and the Strawberry Maritour. They all seem to use the same base donut, cut it in half, add a bit of whipped cream and fruit, then switch things up with different glazes or a sprinkle of icing sugar. The result is a lot of "same donut" with a similar texture and overall mouthfeel, just with slightly different flavors. Sadly, I would not go back, simply because when you spend $45 on six donuts, you should expect good individual uniqueness, and I have had better-made treats with far better value for the price elsewhere.

At that point, its humble start was inside a midtown restaurant for dessert takeout. Fast forward to now, they have three spots across Toronto including downtown which you can't miss with its colourful baby blue & pink exterior. Inside they specialize in brioche donuts that are all dressed up in a variety of flavours ranging from Nutella bomb to pistachio to Homer's favorite raspberry lemon! On the one hand the donuts are expensive starting around $6, on the other they are quite large and eye-pleasing for a unique treat and a hefty sweet bite at that. We picked up six donuts to go after a meal. This bakeshop demonstrates the power of social media in creating buzz across the neighbourhood. I see they're now up to 24 flavours. As a small business, Fab's Donuts has a community, mom-and-pop shop feel upon entering (friendly service). Some of the donuts they offer are quite unique, such as Biscoff and Oreo (topped with actual Biscoff and Oreo cookies), and donuts topped with M&M pieces or mini Reese's butter cup (for the peanut butter lovers). Their donut offerings encompass a variety of traditional donuts (with humble toppings such as cinnamon sugar, rainbow sprinkles (Homer Simpson's Donut), and chocolate dip), donuts filled with creamy fillings (Boston cream and éclair), creatively unique donuts (such as the one with crème brûlée coating), and fritters (apple fritter and banana fritter).
