3.5 stars! The staff here are very friendly and very willing to help and explain all the new flavours and offerings. I miss the old full scale proof to glaze setup but this has a "mini" warm and glaze setup but only as a look of nostalgia. The doughnuts are a treat once in a long while and the coffee gives the coffee of yesteryear Timmies a run for the money for being warm and washed out. I will definitely return but will be a once in a long time occurrence

$1.75 for a donut is great value. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. Quick tasty unhealthy snack. I'll be back.

Great shop. The donuts were out of this world. The coffee was great. And most importantly, the staff were excellent. I highly recommend.

Finally tried their donuts for the first time. It was really good I must say, and cheap too! 20 donuts or doughnuts (however it's spelt :-P) cost about $11. I definitely preferred theirs compared to Tim Hortons. They have different flavors from oreos cookies and cream, cake batter, strawberry, and much more. Oh! There goes my diet! LOL I'll definitely go back their again :-D

Alright. I'm not this giant doughnut lover. I can't even say that every time I go here I even have one. It's like this nice modern go to spot I tend to hit when I'm in the area. It's become a habit. I almost always get a cup of their drip coffee and on the odd occasion an original glaze doughnut. Coffee is fine for a standard drip in the evening. Have to say that little pastry tastes fresh, soft and fluffy. I can see why people sit down and order a box and inhale it. It is pretty good - better than Tim Hortons in my head. A bummer is there isn't any wi-fi or maybe there is and I haven't figured it out but for now no luck.

    A dozen doughnuts to go.

It's been years since we've been in a Krispy Kreme store so it was great to go in one when we were on the area yesterday. For those of you who don't know, Krispy Kreme pretty much was regulated to boxed original glazed doughnuts in Costco's and Walmart's in Canada. They had a disastrous end which saw bankruptcy close almost every store in the Toronto area a decade ago but are slowly and surely rebranding themselves in the Toronto area. They've expanded their menu beyond just original glazed doughnuts and have added a ton of new varieties, muffins, specialty coffee and drinks. They've really done an amazing job at rebranding themselves and are once again expanding. Based on the line up of people today in this store I can really see themselves to be a serious competitor to the current Canadian doughnut king, Tim Hortons Solid 4 out of 5 for some solid doughnuts.

We definitely don't have these in the states, as far as I know. Everybody knows that Krispy Kremes are the best donuts on the planet. So I was super pumped while in Canada to see this place and give it a try. What's amazing about this cafe is that the donuts are served warm and are beautifully presented. The shop serves different drinks such as coffee and hot chocolate as well. I loved how clean the place was and how friendly the staff was as well. This place is really cool and I'm glad I tried it!

A stop to DonutLand!!! The last time I had a donut was forever and I knew I wanted some good donuts! What's better than Krispy Kreme?! The last time I visited Krispy Kreme which was over 5 years ago that location only made and sold mainly their original glazed which was the winner! After that I never step foot to any Krispy Kreme. I was pleasantly surprised with the concept of a more comfort appeal whereas before it felt more like a factory. I am digging this place just from the modern/comfort appeal. We ordered the orginal glazed and cookie donut! Original glazed was just as delicious as I ordered it 5 years ago. The soft & fluffy texture with the sugar coat was delightfully satisfying. The only thing missing was to warm up the donut, if it was warm... it will definitely kick it up a notch! 4.5/5 Cookie donut- We got a chance to try their "featured" donut which the cashier described as cookie dough infused cream in the middle. The filling was more of a sticky marshmallow texture. The huge cookie on top of this donut with the chocolate glazed with the yummy filling really worked well together!! I love it! 5/5 Krispy Kreme really changed a lot since the last time I visited them but one thing didn't change is their donuts are still sooo good! It's definitely a place I'll visit again if I want a special little treat for myself!

It was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon a Krispy Kreme in Chinatown. A bit out of place when you look at the other Asian establishments left, right, front, and center but it's brand recognition was able to drag my lazy feet to it's door. This Krispy Kreme has a healthy (hah!) selection of doughnuts as well as other items such as croissants, kruffins (Krispy Kreme muffins), strudels, muffins, and bagels. They have friendly staff and quite a few tables for customers to enjoy their sweets. The cafe has a retro vibe as well. I was thoroughly impressed with the cleaniliness of the washroom(s) but it may be because the establishment opened 1.5 months ago. I'm sure you're dying to know what I ordered. I'm old skool and got the original glazed. Just the way I remember it. 5 stars!

Really cute shop at the intersection in Chinatown. Right when you step into the store, you will see the donut showcase right away. My friend and I came here just after closing time, not knowing the hours and right when we opened the door, one of them said that we were closed. But the same person asked us if we were just here to buy donuts and we said yes so they allowed is to do so. That was really nice of them to do that even though there were done with customers for the day. I do frequent this location for donuts when I don't feel like having donuts from Tim's. I stick with the original glazed as it comes with enough coating and it doesn't taste as sweet as the other donuts.

Great place for great donuts! They warm up donuts for you so you can have the full heart stopping, artery clogging experience. Staff are friendly and the location is decently spacious for you to sit and enjoy a little piece of buttery sugary heaven.

i love their cream filled glazed donuts! Great place to grab a dozen or a couple of dozens for parties, big get-togethers for family or friends. I really like how you can mix and match to customize your favourite dozen of doughnuts too.

The founder is the same (he's also the founder of the Burger's Priest). Their donuts are also available at Farm Boy, even as far east as Ottawa, which is actually where I tried them (since sadly the last time I was in Toronto, was before the business was founded). I tried the Chocolate Cream Filled ($3.99) which is a big fluffy yeast donut with chocolate on top and is filled with whipped cream. It's like a round eclair, lol. The layer of chocolate was thick, which I liked. The amount of whipped cream inside was also good, not stingy. These donuts are big and substantial, yet so soft. I'm a fan. I'm looking forward to trying other flavours, likely just at Farm Boy for the near future, but hopefully at their store in Toronto in the not too distant future. Review #3 (2026)

As someone who lived in California for 4 years, I will say these are better than the donuts I had there. We only tried the Apple Fritter which isn't usually my go-to but I'm very glad we tried it. It's crisp and sweet on the outside yet unbelievably soft and fluffy on the inside! The apple flavor is mild and could be a bit more pronounced, in my opinion. It's super airy and less dense than I expected which made this so easy to inhale. It didn't even make it out the door! Super friendly staff and tasty donuts!

At that point, its humble start was inside a midtown restaurant for dessert takeout. Fast forward to now, they have three spots across Toronto including downtown which you can't miss with its colourful baby blue & pink exterior. Inside they specialize in brioche donuts that are all dressed up in a variety of flavours ranging from Nutella bomb to pistachio to Homer's favorite raspberry lemon! On the one hand the donuts are expensive starting around $6, on the other they are quite large and eye-pleasing for a unique treat and a hefty sweet bite at that. We picked up six donuts to go after a meal. This bakeshop demonstrates the power of social media in creating buzz across the neighbourhood. I see they're now up to 24 flavours. Perfect timing and novelty wins in this donut-obsessed city. Skip it or hit it? If you're willing to shell out for treats like BBT, there's no reason not to give artisanal donuts a try at least once.
