Abhorrent experience with this place. My wife is pregnant and she wanted some Krispy Kreme doughnuts. We have a medically complex toddler, so we are isolating in our home, but Krispy Kreme has a drive-thru, so this should not have been a big deal. When I get to Krispy Kreme, the line for the drive thru is about ten cars long and moving slowly. No big deal. A lot of people wanted doughnuts on a Saturday night. They're delicious, can't blame them. I wait in this drive thru for quite about fifteen minutes, which did seem slow. But, I figure- if someone wanted something that wasn't ready, maybe they had to wait. Again- no big deal. Get to the menu to place my order only to be told that the drive thru couldn't take debit or credit, cash only- BUT, if I go inside the store, they can take cards. This means that the geniuses running this store thought it was a good policy to make people wait in a drive thru line just to be told they have to go inside and wait in line. Now of course they could they have warned people. Post a sign or something, but no. It's better to waste people's time. Furthermore, the fact that they were taking cards inside but not at the window means that instead of having the person at the drive thru window walk over to run the card at a working terminal, then place the duplicate receipt in the drive thru drawer so that the store knew how much volume drive thru was doing, and then reconcile the difference at closing, the morons who run this shop thought it was a better idea to have people wait in line for the drive thru just to be told to go wait inside. Pure laziness or complete stupidity. Take your pick. To top it off, when I went inside, I was appalled to see that the lady who was actually handling the donuts and placing them in their to-go container was one of only three people in the whole store NOT wearing a mask. The other two were customers. So, the lady handling the food I was getting for my pregnant wife was the only one that who felt like she was special- given that the other employees were masked up- which indicates to me that she knew she should be wearing a mask and just didn't give a s--t. Whoever runs this store should be fired. The lady not wearing a mask, should be fired. I was disgusted. You can cite whatever sources you want about COVID transmission via food, it's not exactly the point. It can be transferred via the box she was holding and the air between her and the customers. And, because the food is not hot and would- generally speaking- not be reheated, technically the virus could be transmitted via the food. Regardless, it was sloppy, lazy, horrible experience. I should have lit my money on fire, spun a donut in the parking lot, took a picture of it and given that to my wife. Great example of a company with absolutely no concept of social responsibility. read more

Online ordering is a joke. Went in to pick up via curbside and no one came out. Had to go in and wait in line (25 min.) only to receive an assortment of donuts that I did NOT select online. May 24,2020. Still being blatantly neglectful of safety codes around Covid. The manager was picking all the orders and talking to customers WITH NO MASK ON. Online prepaid orders still have to be picked up in the store in the same line as anyone else. I said something to the manager about masks, she shook her head and ignored me. Extremely upsetting. Always a yummy place to stop by when you're feeling like a sweet tooth. Stopped by this place due to a request from my son. Their original glazed donuts are always scrumptious. Love how fresh it tastes. For kids, I think the sweet glaze is perfect. For me, I think, a lighter sweet glaze would be even more perfect. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are a legend in their own right. When the red neon sign flashes "Hot Doughnuts Now"... get out of the way, and do it quickly. The cars will start streaming into the parking lot, and the line will reach to the door. It's worth it. They will pluck the freshly fried and glazed doughnuts right off the line, and hand them to you. The doughnuts will melt in your mouth. They are light and airy, sweet and dripping with fresh glaze. It's not unheard of to have 6 or so disappear into your mouth over the span of 5 minutes. Their other Doughnut selections aren't bad either. I enjoy the Custard-Filled Chocolate-Iced as well as the Raspberry Filled Glazed. I love that, aside from coffee (Two Strengths, plus decaf) that they offer Milk, Chocolate Milk, and Apple Juice too. The Employees have always been friendly too. Keep an eye out for Krispy Kreme's promotion days! Promotions = Free Doughnuts! (Election Day, Veteran's Day, etc.) All I can say is I am glad they are a 25 minute drive for me, otherwise I'd be there WAY too often! read more

Where do I even begin. I guess with last night. Husband and I were in the area and stopped by to get a dozen doughnuts. The hot now signs on. We pull up to the drive through and sit there for about 3 minuets before someone comes on the intercom. He welcomes us and then tells us that they are completely out of doughnuts except the original glazed which they were actually in the process of making and would take 25-30 minutes. What Krispy Kreme completely runs out of doughnuts? They make them in the store! The hot and ready sign was lit up! We were hyped about getting some doughnuts tf! Separate issue. Back when they had the pumpkin spiced glazed doughnuts we also made a trip to get a some of those since we were never able to before. Amazing!! This should be '0 stars'. Ordered a dozen of Raspberry filled donuts... Got home, everyone got their donut but to their surprise - NOT EVEN a 1/2 teaspoon of the filling in any of the 12 donuts - NOT one donut had more than a sliver of filling! This franchise should close as they do not believe in any quality of the food product that they produce and sell here. This is considered a treat for families but the joke is on the customer here. Went there for a $16 box spring deal, got three generic pink donuts and 13 gross lemon ones when we asked for 50/50. when ordering we were spoken to very rudely and he staff was very short and negative. Upon telling the manager the donuts were not as promised and the service was bad yet saying I appreciate the employee doing their job, they were very rude. Wow, I have never been into a more filthy disgusting donut shop in my entire life. Everything is covered in grime! The doors, the walls, the floor, the seats, the napkin dispenser is broken there's trash everywhere. To top it off I walked in and ordered 3 double dozen you'd think that I just kicked the girls puppy the way she acted and complained the entire time that she filled the order. I have never left a bad review anywhere and I am not one to make a fuss but the service here is absolutely terrible. I went through the drive through and nobody helped me so i parked my car and went inside. I noticed that there were at least 6 employees behind the desk and i waited 5 minutes at the cash register for someone to help me and nobody came up to the register regardless of the fact that I made eye contact with half the employees. Came to Krispy Kreme for a fun date night. We parked and walked right into the store which immediately smelled like sugar glaze and heaven. The little factory conveyor belt is so interesting and it's fascinating to see the cute little donuts make their way through the huge vat of oil and the waterfall of glaze we know and love! We were offered a free fresh glazed donut right away and it was one of the best food experiences of my whole life. Hot and sweet and perfectly cooked; these donuts are to die for. Awful customer service today. I'm currently I jured and drove 20 mins to get doughnuts today (when I could have drive 5 to get Dunkin). With my crutches and dog in tow I make the long drive to pay my wife back for taking g care of me this week since I've been immobile. I get the ONLY doughnuts my wife will eat anywhere (Boston Cream) as well as an assortment dozen and return home only to find out that this location not only didn't give me the right order but they completely forgot the Boston Creams and they didn't give me a receipt. I called and was told to come in with my receipt, which I told them I didn't have because they didn't give it to me but I had been there 20 mins ago and had a dog and I described the drive thru person. The lady tells me to bring ALL the doughnuts back (which we did) and when my wife gets there they only replace the ones that were wrong leaving the few that were correct in the box (where they had been the last 40 mins). They didn't offer to get fresh doughnuts, they didn't offer to comp them, then didn't offer anything for the next time. They just lost a customer! HORRIBLE! Worst customer service ever. I ordered 2 dozen doughnuts for my husbands 40th birthday 10 days in advance for a 7 am delivery. Birthday morning comes around and no doughnuts arrive, no text stating they'll be coming. I call the store over and over and theres no answer. Sadly had a bad experience here trying to buy some treats for my staff tomorrow. Store has two different prices labeled on their menu for a double dozen deal. I order under the impression the deal would be $16.49. Then after I ordered I saw another sign for $17.99. I asked the employee taking my order if my order was $16.49 and he said no.
