Sad mean lady serving the smallest and most deformed donuts. I thought I was really nice to her but I guess I was maybe inconveniencing her and she had some small deformed donuts she was looking to get rid of on the next person that rubbed her the wrong way. I drive too far out of my way to have someone treating me that way just because they're not very happy to be working at a donut shop. If I were working there I would be fat and happy all of the time but would probably die of diabetes pretty quickly. Lol For as much as they charge for their donuts I absolutely expect consistent size and quality. They can even serve them up with their grumpiest frowny face on as long as the donuts are consistent in size and quality. I am lowering my review of Krispy creme from a 4 to a 3. No mistake, the donuts ae still wonderful. But I am really irritaed with the store. I got before valentines day 1 dozen donuts and 12 free donut coupons on a special offer. I gave 3 of the coupons away. I have gone in several times and have run into a, and I paraphrase it, "must be present to cash your coupons.' One day I hit the drive thru and I wanted to get 3 donuts-one to take home for my husband(there were 2 of us in the car). They would not give me 3 donuts because person #3 wasn't there. Another time I went in with my grandson(little T-Dog) and left my huband sitting in the car. Again, I couldn't get 3 donuts because my husband didn't come in to get it himself. (he refused to get out of the car when I told him). What gives? Maybe they were free, but they are mine-I am still upset as I write. I know KK has the right to set the conditions of their promotions. I know I am probably trapped by corporate thinking-and teenaged donut dippers . Maybe 3 is not a lucky number for me. Who can tell? But I am unhappy. I was in this morning ordering 2 dozen for my coworkers for an uplifting Tuesday treat and the young lady filling my order couldn't be anymore short and rude. I'm not much of a donut person, but good lordy lordy these things are the crack cocaine of all things fried. If you ever have the time to watch the entire automated process of them making the fresh donuts, it's pretty interesting. I recommend spending the 5 minutes watching it go from dough to donut, truly a speck of American ingenuity. In case it's your first time to a KK, keep in mind that they ONLY make the regular glazed donuts there fresh, all other ones are pre-made and will be cold when you get them. But yes, there is a big neon sign outside that indicates when they're making them hot. I pity the fool that has not had a warm glazed donut right off the production line with a big gulp of strawberry milke. Price-wise, if you are thinking about getting half a dozen, you might as well spend the extra buck and get the full dozen. I went Friday to get the Original Kreme filled and was told that they weren't making them that day and to come back tomorrow. Huh? They didn't run out they didn't make any. So, I return the following day because I still had that craving. At 9:15 am in the drive through I ordered a half dozen of the Original Kreme filled only to be told that they didn't have any yet. I told the nice young lady on the other end what I was told the previous day and I heard someone in the background tell her that they hadn't made them yet. Really, 9:15 on a Saturday and you haven't started making them yet? WTF? If you aren't going to make them, take down all of the advertising for them at your location. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service was rude! I asked them if they had the Santa's baker dozen they said yes but when I get my items it's random donuts of the 5 selection only 3 were given to me and the worst ones especially in a larger number. When I asked why they did that she told me we were out of the other two selections. I was like WASN'T THAT INFO YOU NEED TO INFORM PEOPLE OF especially if I asked if you had the dozen you said yes? That's misleading! She gave me an attitude so I drove off. When I got home, The donuts were soooo cold and stale/old you could tell they were not fresh at all. This is the nearest location to me which is 30 mins out so I was determined to get some donuts. The other thing was The line for drive through was taking so long there was 2 cars ahead of me and it took them so long my kids fell asleep during the wait. I couldn't return back after leaving because it was far too long of a drive especially in traffic and if you have little babies you know how frustrating it is to even leave the house. Customer service was absolutely rude didn't ask to fix it didn't apologize didn't take any responsibility or ownership. This location needs to revisit its skills in management and customer service someone from HQ should definitely come out. I already messaged HQ too and recommend anyone having a poor experience to do the same so they send someone out to this location to teach some customer service skills to the employees and management or completely change them out. read more

Ah, the Krispy Kreme. Staff have been quite nice and the donuts are always quite nice. Overall, a decent place if you've never gone. Check it out. The main reason for the lower rating just has more to do with the fact that the donuts are too sweet. I do like the 'fluffy'-ness of the original glaze, but I actually like a heartier donut. 6/13/2018 Watched fresh donuts come off the conveyer belt at about 7pm. Server went to a rack further back and filled our two dozen of the original glazed and when I asked if these were still fresh she said yes. We got them home (5 min drive) and the donuts were ice cold and tasted like they were from that morning or even the day before. We called and the manager told us to come back in and get a fresh dozen. We went in a few days later walked in gave them our receipt and the managers name and was handed a fresh dozen no questions asked. We do not get donuts often but when we do we only go when the HOT sign is on. I was just waiting, I even said hello, and the person on the intercom said, they will help me in a minute. Then the person that was taking my order made me repeat everything four times. This time it took 25 minutes with no one in front of me and they made me repeat back my entire order because after spending five minutes saying the order they kept telling me to stop they didn't type anything in or listen to what I had to say. Absolutely the worst drive thru customer service I have ever encountered. The young lady was down right rude. She was only taking one order at a time and the drive thru was at least ten cars deep. Don't waste your time. I went up to the drive thru to get an original glazed donut and they said "sorry, we are out of those"... Seriously? Before the "remodel" the quality was lacking in the filled doughnuts, 25% of the time the filling is missing; Customer service is nonexistent. Post remodel, nothing has improved. I order a half dozen filled doughnuts, 2 had no filling. I tried again and had the same problem. The cashiers are still rude. They seem understaffed for the amount of customers they serve. I started going the extra mile for Dunkin Donuts, all my doughnuts are filled and the customer service is excellent. Oh man!!! Though there is a Krispy Kreme in Penn Station it doesn't hold a candle to an actual full service location. My friend and I were driving by when I saw the beautiful, delectable "Hot Now" sign. Yes. I said the sign was delectable. We went in and the donuts were just starting to roll off the line. We stood in the viewing area as the delicious pastries rolled on under the frosting. Salivating doesn't begin to describe what occured. I believe I uttered the following sentences at some point: "oh yeah. that's right, flip in that oil. yes yes drizzle that frosting all over it..mmm yeah that's right get into that dryer. damn. you know what I like." I have little to no shame. As we get to the front counter we are presented with a free piping hot, melty, gooey donut. AMAZING. A dozen more and a medium coffee later we were on our way home! The coffee was VERY disappointing though. : ( Watered down big time, and we had to wait while they started up the coffee maker. Hey, I'm all for fresh coffee, but I also like when it's fresh and waiting already, and not watered down!! That said, you really don't think of the coffee when you go here. Very disappointed with my experience with Krispy Kreme today. I ordered two glazed and two chocolate with sprinkles a medium vanilla iced coffee and a chocolate iced coffee. First when I got to the window I sat for at least 5 minutes while two girls were just messing around and no one even acknowledged that I was there and when they finally did she was rude. After I got my donuts and coffees I drove off and took a drink of my coffee and it was all syrup, I thought maybe I needed to stir it so I did and tried to drink it again and no difference. It tastes like it doesn't even have coffee in it and every drink is thick both coffees were this way. And our donuts were crunchy and didn't taste fresh at all. I haven't been to this location in a long time, but I decided to give it a shot spontaneously, but after today I don't plan on returning anytime soon. They were out of half the donuts that were advertised. Instead of giving me a list, the lady just let me pick donuts and repeatedly tell me that they were out of each one. Since they didn't have most of the ones I wanted I downsized to a half dozen, chose some that they actually had and pulled up. It ended up being $9 for the 6 donuts that weren't even the ones that I wanted to order (the dozen box is advertised as $13. Pretty sure that's a rip off if I've ever seen one). Right around the corner, and the best part of it all was that I went in right when the Hot Doughnuts Now sign was illuminating, and got a free sample. It had been years! Open pretty early and late, although not 24 hour. Lots of little yappy kids, but you'll get that at any KK. The only downfall: after several repeat visits, I happened to notice that they completely took away the free wifi. It's Sunday morning at 11:27 A.M. I am setting in the Target parking lot across from the KK. I just went through the drive-through and asked for 4 donuts. 2 were not available, at 11:15 in the morning on a Sunday. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd probably be willing to bet that this would be one of their most profitable days of the week. If I would have looked at the reviews below, I would've seen this to be a normal problem. It's apparent the management doesn't allocate its resources very efficiently. As a donut shop, I could give a quick demographic business lesson on the supply curve of donuts throughout the week hitting full stride Friday-Sun. I find it funny that this a 24/7 facility and anytime you go in they are always out of the most popular items and can never keep them stocked especially their famous glazed donuts. Then when you ask how long it will take to restock them it's always hours as if it's hard to take the glazed doughnuts and dip them in chocolate or maple and throw some sprinkles on them like they do in the first place.
