The donuts here are usually pretty yummy! They were nice and fresh. The raspberry filled donut was so yummy too it was filled quite a bit. The staff here is usually okay. Not to wowed by the service. The restaurant is usually alright on the inside but can look a little run down. Overall it's a bit too expensive and only worth it if you get rewards. Definitely better options out there but for what it is this is a good location overall. read more

I've been to this location twice now, and both experiences have had terrible customer service. The employees seemed annoyed from the moment we walked in. While we were looking at the donuts and deciding on flavors, they acted like we were inconveniencing them. When we finally ordered, the employee looked visibly irritated, turned away while speaking, and talked so quietly that we could barely hear her. The donuts themselves were a mixed experience. Some were good, and we did receive the free donut, which was appreciated. However, that doesn't excuse how we were treated. The chocolate iced Kreme-filled donut was especially disappointing, it didn't have the smooth chocolate glaze shown in the photos, looked dry, and had barely any Kreme filling. Customer service has a huge impact on the overall experience, and both visits left us feeling unwelcome. Even if the donuts are decent, the rude and dismissive attitude from the staff puts the whole place in a bad mood. If there's another Krispy Kreme location nearby, I'd recommend going there instead. read more

I ordered two donuts... TWO! I sat in the drive thru window for 10 minutes watching this lady walk back and forth. It takes 1 minute to check a person out and hand them their order. If there is a reason for a wait then express that to your customers, I could have pulled off to the side so the 5 cars behind me could've gotten their order. We took our toddler daughter there for a birthday doughnut and we had to use the restroom, when we came back all of our stuff had been thrown away, everything from a just opened juice box, our doughnuts, a stainless steel cup still full of what we had in it. After bothering the staff from their giggling and goofing off behind the counter asking where our stuff was, all of a sudden they had amnesia so we had to get the manager to make them dig out our cup from the trash and replace the doughnuts. One of the few chain locations of the major donut places that still has a great staff, very nice, happy to hand out free samples and answer any questions. Ambiance is cute, they had little hats on the tables our kids love. Minus one star for the cleanliness, the floor was a bit sticky and the bathrooms left a bit to be desired but I didn't have high expectations to begin with. On this fine day, I opted for their kolaches, because the place I usually get them from was closed. I ordered some sausage and cheese and sausage and jalapeno kolaches. Now, I am not a kolache connoisseur, but I have had many different kolaches, including the Czech Stop ones, so that is my comparison point. The kolaches at Krispy were rather good, albeit a bit on the bready side. They were also bigger than some of the kolaches I have previously tasted . What makes this a good choice is the convenience of the location and the ease in getting the food. Although, the taste was also good. I would definitely get some kolaches from Krispy again, although I can't say this will be my to go place, but in a pinch, it will do. read more

Another great experience at KK! Quick, fresh and delicious...with a smile. I wanted to give the family now surprise, and whats better than a dozen donuts from KK? NOTHING! As you can see, this was a beautiful box and man did I get the wow I was looking for! The winner was the Cake Batter (yellow). My kids made strange monkey like noises when taking their first bites lol. The only knock was my Ham & Cheese Kolache. Here in San Antonio, Kolaches are a huge thing. This stems from the long history of Germans in the area, with Breweries and Kolaches leaving the strongest mark. These though, not so much. Just not enough of the actually filling. The doughnuts are the same as at every other KK, so I rate based on customer service and cleanliness of the individual location. This was one of the least impressive KKs I've been to. The employee helping us rushed us to order even though it was obvious that another customer was blocking our ability to see their seasonal doughnuts. At one point I watched her use her t-shirt to wipe sweat away from her brow. She didn't bother to change her gloves afterwards. Because I wasn't 100% sure her glove touched her sweat, and the fact that she was done getting our doughnuts, I didn't say anything. We had to wait 5 minutes after paying for our coffees because they didn't have an extra batch brewed: something I think is crazy for a doughnut shop in the morning. The jelly-filled doughnuts we received had jelly on only one half of the doughnut. Using the filling injector is not that difficult. I know only because of having worked at my family's doughnut shop when I was younger. The overall cleanliness of the place is bad. There's a slippery film on the floor instead of deep cleaning the floors, they place a "slippery when wet" sign on the floor. Another plus about this location is that 99% of the time, their red light is on, which means that you get a free donut with your purchase. The only reason why I am not giving them a 5 stars is their actual location. It is so complicated to get in there if you are coming off the highway and I've seen so many people almost get into accidents trying to get in.
