I am a member, so I ordered a dozen of doughnuts for $7.99 and also received a Witch's brew doughnut (Halloween doughnut) for free. I'm not a sweets person, so I ate one doughnut. I want to commend the staff at the Riverdale location, who worked on the morning of October 4th, for their great service & for being present! I'd called the Stockbridge location 3-4 times this morning & no one answered. I called the Riverdale location & they picked up on the 3rd ring (on my end). They answered my questions & that made me drive the extra 20 minutes to their location instead of going to the one closest to me (Stockbridge) . I arrived, the store was clean & inviting, & I didn't wait long as they assisted other customers. The highlight is I saw my donuts being taken out of the grease, go through the glaze, & get scooped up into the box. Hot 'n Ready, indeed!! They were soooooo good. My family and I decided to give this particular location another try after not eating there for years after a previous experience with the donuts not being of quality. Unfortunately, we didn't have a much better experience. First off, many of the donuts listed on the menu were discontinued. The lemon filled, none, blueberry, none, birthday cake, none. We unfortunately were unable to have much of an assortment since they no longer made many of the timeless donuts. Also, I ordered a creme filled, but there was absolutely NO creme inside the donut! I arrived here at 10:35 rushing to get here before they close inside at 11PM! It's posted online and on their doors well to my surprise every single door was locked with people sitting at tables inside. Welp I'm about to order 4 dozen doughnuts through drive thru because they don't honor their posted hours if you choose at 10:30 then post that. Once we were at the window we asked if they had anything hot to drink and she said "yes" hot chocolate and we said but you just said you didn't have anything hot and she said " I don't have hot chocolate" . Anyhow I have to say very unprofessional, you need to re-train or hire new individuals that are responsible and want to work. They give Krispy Kreme a bad name. I came here recently to buy my favorite food Doughnuts. Also who visits Atlanta without grabbing a ready made doughnut. I came in with the intentions of buying two doughnuts for me and beau but I had to grab the fifth one. The young male cashier was really polite and helpful. They do not wear name tags unfortunately so I don't know his name. I told him I was dying to try the sour cream doughnut and he said they did not have it at the moment because they were promoting the coffee glazed doughnut which I tried. It was not terrific and it did not have much of a coffee taste in my opinion. He then proceeded to tell me how delicious the sour cream doughnut was and I am still trying to figure out if he was teasing me. We also got the Blueberry cake which also a favorite in my house. The pumpkin spice was delicious but the best doughnut was the Apple Fritter. It was delicious. Im disappointed that I only picked up one. I lived close to this location for years but at some point they stopped selling my Devil's Chocolate doughnut so i had to switch to Ponce De Leon. I have not been to this location in about 2 years but if I recall correctly the Light is usually ON at 6 AM and 6 PM. And I know this because my big fat fanny was always driving by there to take doughnuts to work or back home and I'd eat at least 3 before I could get the box out of my car! Okay so we all love to see the hot sign on at Krispy Kreme. My son and I was in the area and decided to stop in one day and of course they had Halloween donuts which I also thought was really cool. This visit was a little different being that we decide to go inside the Krispy Kreme and most of the time we just go through the drive-thru. What a wonderful decision. I had no idea how beautiful and clean the interior is and the fact that we could watch the donuts as they are prepared. The staff was extremely kind and we were even told that children who receive A's on their report card can receive a free donut. I had the seasonal pumpkin spice Donut which was only available on Fridays in October and my son had a Halloween donut which he ate so quickly that I was unable to take a picture. What can I say......its Krispy Kreme!!! To start they had a 99 on their health inspection score! This location is always busy when I visit, but the staff is quick and work as a team taking orders and keeping the line moving making sure the customers wait isn't long at all. However going on the inside for some reason is always faster than the drive thru! When the doughnuts are hot they melt in your mouth and you can eat 3 or 4 before you even realize it!
