Looked ok. I got it to go with a waffle bowl. My cousin got 2 ice creams as well. We were 3 miles away from the house. We attempted to put my cousin's ice cream in the freezer the lid just slid off Ice cream oozing out the cup.. one big melted mess. NEVER WILL I SPEND MY MONEY HERE. Service was ok.. I think the girl that served me was new and didn't understand that I wanted my ice cream in a waffle bowl. So when I was handed the cup I stated I wanted a regular waffle bowl, not the ones that were dipped. But another worker, apologized and gave me the waffle bowl. The waffle bowl, I poured my ice cream in when I got home, mind you half of the small cup I had to pour out bc it was so messy and melted. That was horrible.. I don't partake in " going to get ice cream" often but I would hope that if I drive 3 miles it should at least hold up. Do Better. Not a Fan. Will not Return. That's for me. Forget the maple bacon, cereal toppings and all the fancy creations for a minute. Sometimes nothing beats a soft, yeasty glazed doughnut done right. Krispy Kreme knows how to do it. This Ponce de Leon location is my go-to whenever I'm working around Midtown Atlanta. It's a large location with plenty of parking and a fast drive-through. Easy in, easy out, and I was able to grab what I needed and get back on the road. The doughnuts did not disappoint. The team was thrilled when I showed up with a box of classic glazed. Sometimes the simplest things make people the happiest. My one head-scratcher was the milk. I wanted to grab milk to go with the doughnuts, and although milk was listed on the menu, they had none. No whole milk, no 2%, no chocolate milk -- nothing. This was in the middle of the day, so I found that a little bizarre. Doughnuts and milk seem like a pretty natural pairing! Hopefully it was just an unusual stocking issue that day. Otherwise, the experience was quick, convenient and the glazed doughnuts delivered exactly what I wanted. There's something nostalgic and comforting about a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed. Light, airy, sweet and wonderfully uncomplicated. No bells and whistles required. So it doesn't matter if it took you 5 minutes to find a park and 5 minutes to scan and enter your info, your time starts when you drive in their parking lot. I ordered a rum cake $7, and carrot cake deluxe $7.75. Both cakes were so moist and absolutely delicious. The frosting wasn't too sweet on the carrot cake.
