The staff was super friendly and really knowledgeable about all the different kupcakes. They helped me pick out the Purple Rain and gave great descriptions of the flavors without making it feel overwhelming. I ended up getting some work done while I was there, and the window seat became my favorite part of the visit. And since you already know I'm going to tell you about the parking vibes --parking is free and directly in front of the shop. We're talking park the car, take a few steps, and you're inside. We love to see it! The young man who greeted me was incredibly kind and helpful. I picked out a generously sized slice of red velvet cake and also noticed they still had some cupcakes available. I'd heard Sammy's can be pretty popular, so I was happy there were some left! Naturally, I grabbed those too and went with the red velvet and strawberry. I thought the pricing was very reasonable for what I received. If I remember correctly, everything came to around $25 and some change. The cupcakes came three to a pack, and the cake slice itself was a really nice size, so I felt like the value matched the quality and portions. Most importantly, the birthday surprise was a success! Everyone loved the cupcakes, and I was so happy with my decision to come here. Again, this is coming from someone who doesn't even have much of a sweet tooth, so the fact that ONE BITE of somebody else's cake was enough to send me looking for Sammy's should tell you everything you need to know. I'll absolutely continue supporting Sammy's, especially the next time I need desserts for an event. When you know you've found something good, you stick with it!

This cheesecake is so delicious but you will instantly mmmm as soon as it hits your palate. The baker is no stronger to using bold spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon and the ginger snap cookie on top of it is a bonus. It has a nice sweetness as well. Very rich. Banana Pudding is also very tasty. It most definitely is a banana thing. The presence is there and it's not the essence. It tastes like she used a real banana not just flavoring. Oh my oh my oh my. Quite heavenly. I tasted a little of each and saved half of it for later. My daughter said the plain cheesecake was just as good and not overly sweet. I would be happy to buy from here again and I'm sorry that I haven't patronized sooner. I'm so used to the East Point location, I was excited to visit the new Grant Park location, especially when I saw all of the new parking spaces. So much room! First impressions were great as when you first drive up you see the super cute, pink Kupcakerie cupcake and name on the exterior. There was some seating outside on one visit (when it wasn't so rainy in ATL) and the string lights were an added bonus for the vibes. This space is also offered for events and I could definitely imagine a super cute soiree happening in this cute area. Upon entry, I loved seeing the super cute pink couch in the corner, perfect seating for those who decide to check out one of the books from the bakery bookshelf. (Buy a book!) There's also a nice little office space that would be great for meetings or study groups while you enjoy the Kupcakerie treats. It's super quiet and the cashiers have all been friendly, fast and willing to share their personal recommendations. Kupcakerie offers about a dozen different cupcake flavors daily and I feel like every flavor is worth a try, lol. I don't truly love sweets, but I have cravings for a little sugar like anyone else, and their cupcakes are always worth it. (And pair well with wine!) THEN I had the audacity to want to add a CAKE even more last minute and add a picture. Yamesia didn't hesitate to help me figure out the correct size for the cake and photo seeing as it was ONLY for the bride and groom. Business hours start at noon but she offered to come in early if I needed. She was very accommodating to my last minute add ons, pick up changes and questions. To my surprise, Yamesia used the photo on the oreos as well and that literally brought tears to the brides eyes at drop off. We had spent hours putting the same photo label on the party favor champagne bottles so now the cake, treats and party favors all match. I couldn't thank her enough. She is so friendly and knowledgeable about her art, unlike many of the new "bakers" popping up in the city just to make a quick buck.
