    Pumpkin spice donut

Love the different themed donuts they have. I'm always excited to see what they'll come up with next. The staff is friendly and very helpful when I ask questions like what's in the donuts? They are very patient, as they probably get asked that question about filled donuts quite often. I also enjoy watching the conveyor belt with all those donuts, it's fascinating! They also have coffee drinks. There is a drive through and plenty of parking . I've always gotten take out, but they do have tables to eat in.

    Posted price of lattes.

Came in for 2 donuts and a medium frozen caramel latte, which is priced at $3.99. The latte range up for 4.29. When I brought this to the attention of the cashier, she said "she don't know nothing about that". She didn't even acknowledge the posted price. While it is a difference of only $.30, it I'd about the principle. You should charge what your posted price is. I was charged additional ta es, so it wasn't rolled into the price. That's not good business. Other than that, it's Krispy Kreme. The donuts are always good.

Ordered a half dozen and a dozen original glazed. Both were cold and stale but the half dozen didn't look like they even have glaze on them. They look different than the box w/ the dozen. Unfortunately I didn't check them until I got home. Now I'm out $28

Went to Krispy Kreme the other day to get our delicious lemon filled donuts and asked for our usual pup cups for the fur babies. Was told the manager stopped letting them do that. I love Krispy Kreme but there's going to be a lot of sad doggies out there. Time to check out Dunkin' Donuts. I know Brew Y'all down the street on Hillcrest gives pup cups.

The store was beautiful with all the colorful donuts. The smell was heavenly and the service was great. They let you know when the donuts are being freshly made and guaranteed hot, they did not disappoint! The glaze were the best I've had but their reputation proceeds them so I expected nothing less. I waited to eat one the next day and microwaved it for 15 sec and it was as fresh tasting as the day before. Delicious as usual!

My kids love coming here for treats. They give each kid a free glazed donut for each A on their report card, and my kids think that's the best thing ever. The employees are always friendly, and WAY more patient with my kids than I am when they're taking 87 years to decide which donuts they want, even when there is a long line behind us. The place is clean, but the sign in the wall says their last health score is a 78! Yikes. Docked a star for that.

Oh, Krispy Kreme, you're not my favorite but you're pretty good. This location is a pretty busy location, but considering that, they are pretty clean and service is fairly quick. Do yourself a favor, and try to stay away when kids get report cards because I believe they give a free donut for every "A" you get. Lines both inside and outside can get super long. Besides that, the donuts are always fresh and selection is decent. They just recently did away with my all time favorite....the crueller That was my go to, but for now I suppose the original glazed will do. They still offer a cooler with various milks and juices, and also serve both hot and iced coffee beverages. They also sell their kcups and KK gear like mugs and tumblers. You can watch them make the donuts , which is fun for the little ones! So grab you a hat next time you come in and enjoy! *I also wanted to note, every KK I've been to across the country offers a free donut while you stand in line to order inside, but this one does not. Bummer!

For instance, advised that my daughter was shy when the kid hesitated to order one day, the barista brightened up even more and put the girl at ease. Whether their coffee is good or not is completely subjective. I think it's good overall, but it might not be my first choice in town. But it's made with care, and as mentioned, roasted in house. Its popularity speaks to its quality. They also have a very good selection of pastries and other goodies to accompany your coffee, including a Mobile institution--cheesecake from a local company called Cotton Blues. The only gripe I have about Carpe Diem is their seating setup. There simply isn't enough of it. That said, I don't know how they could use the space more efficiently, since the cafe is small as it is. I prefer more private seating, which in other coffee houses I've been to has been accomplished with the judicious use of plants or high-backed chairs. The biggest component of the crowded seating is due to students from Springhill College across the street. Today, for instance, my husband and I were unable to find any seating at all. Even on the days when we can find seating, being entirely surrounded by people working quietly on their laptops feels awkward and lends a library-like feel to the atmosphere. It feels rude to have a conversation at a regular level. I feel like I'm intruding. I don't know how a coffee shop should handle this conundrum, as it's really not good business practice to limit customers' time while there, or to turn away clientele, even in an attempt to please all of their customers. There is already a back room which seems to be an unofficial space dedicated to students, but the overflow still takes up much of the cafe. That said, I enjoy Carpe Diem and going there is a nice little treat. I would definitely recommend it.

So it was doubly pleasing to be able to introduce her to this pleasing restaurant with its eclectic cuisine. The breakfast menu is what usually draws my attention. Served anytime, not just normal breakfast hours, a customer can choose between crumpets, omelettes, french toast, or just the usual bacon and eggs. I usually order one of their crumpets, but today, chose their Loaded Omelette with cheese grits. More like a purée, the grits were superb, creamy and buttery. My omelette was delivered spicy and hot. Giving my daughter a taste we soon concluded that the sausage used reminded us of the blood sausage we have enjoyed for breakfast in Peru, when we travel there to visit my wife's family. This is certainly not a typical omelette for Mobile, Alabama. My only complaint about it is that it was slightly overcooked and dry. Nevertheless, it was very tasty. My daughter had the Fried Egg and Cheese Crumpet, that she reported to be delicious. A mix-up on my drink order brought me a Turkish coffee rather than a Turkish latte, and suspiciously weak to be considered Turkish. I suspect that the cashier heard "Turkish", but not "latte", and confused, may have decided to see if a regular Americano would pass as an acceptable substitute. Except for the jolt I was expecting to receive, from the latte I ordered, it was acceptable. I am eager to return again to try one of their "Build Your Own Smashburger." Until then I will continue to hold the opinion that I have yet to have a disappointing meal at the RedBar, and I rest assured that my meal on that day will be equally satisfying.

I have tried the stuffed mushroom, Shepards pie and a burger and all were fantastic. For a side I had the sweet potato casserole and it was ok, not my favorite as I found the potatoes to be slightly undercooked for my liking. Other than that every thing was amazing. The stuffed mushroom with balsamic reduction probably my favorite. Prices are really good too. The dining tables are old window with mason jars to drink from adding to the uniqueness. Will be back really soon.
