So I stopped here for some breakfast for me and the kids on our way back to Nashville. They had good reviews and Kolaches. My son wanted donuts too. I was static to see the drive-thru because kids ended up falling asleep. It made it so easy and convenient! The donuts were definitely delicious and I ended up getting a breakfast croissant sandwich and the kolaches. All delicious. I would definitely come back here when I come visit my sister. We grabbed these little gems to go, since we had a large group at a house for a weekend in Mobile. Really pleased with what they had to offer. We went with the original glazed (one dozen) and a 1/2 dozen of the filled (cream/lemon/raspberry). Donuts were really fresh and flavorful. By the time we got them back to our place, they weren't still warm, but that's ok - they had plenty of flavor (as previously stated) and it was obvious they had been cooked fresh that day. Prices, were fair and on par with what I've paid at other places - and actually a little cheaper than quite a few places. Based on our experience with these guys I'd for sure recommend them to others and we wouldn't hesitate to come back here if we find ourselves down in Mobile again some day. read more

First let me say I tried several donuts but nothing was as good as the glaze! I will never stray again! The young lady behind the counter was so pleasant and nice. My husband got a lemon cream filled white powder donut and it is the only one I got a picture of because I ate my glaze, chocolate, and plain powder donut lickity split. The apple fritter, which apparently they are known for, is an overly sugary sweet mess that needs a lot more apple to balance it out. It literally tastes like eating a spoonful of sugar- not for me. Highly overrated. Would not recommend. The donuts tasted like basic ones from Dunkin' Donuts. Not particularly different or fresh or good. Not worth getting again. Delicious! Totally unassuming little spot. Had I not read the reviews first, I probably would have kept on driving by. The maple bacon donut was the star of my visit. However, we ordered a half dozen and tried several donuts and everyone loved theirs. They were light, fluffy and moist. We also shared some breakfast sandwiches which were pretty good. I was worried when I saw the Bunsen burner style, pour it yourself coffee. I find that sometimes those can taste burnt or just old. But to my surprise, the coffee was good. Get there early if you want something specific...by midday they will probably be out of some the more popular flavors. We will definitely add this to our list of must go to while in Mobile. read more

My family and I stopped at this donut shop on our way to Tallahassee, FL. I found it on Yelp and after seeing boudin kolaches on the menu, I knew I had to stop. The kolache was really good and so was the blueberry cake donut. I think we had one of everything. There were no complaints from my guys either. They also sell coffee and a variety of other beverages. It was convenient that there is also a drive thru at this location. I know that it was fairly early in the morning but the lady that helped us wasn't very friendly. If the service was better, I could've given a 4.5. rating. read more

I'm only commenting on the donuts here. I have never tried the kolaches although I've heard they are good. The donuts are less than mediocre. They lack flavor and they're just not good. They are dry the day you buy them and they're overpriced for the quality you receive. Save yourself the disappointment and go to the old standby over on Hillcrest Rd or go to Pollman's Bakery and get a real apple fritter. read more

We stopped right as they opened on our way through Mobile. We got the blueberry cake, sour cream, and chocolate iced sour cream donuts. We also got the jalapeño sausage kolaches. Everything was amazing! You could taste the individual blueberries in the donuts. Definitely worth the stop! read more

These have been the best doughnuts I've tasted so far. They aren't too thin like Krispy Kreme, not too doughy like the doughnut shop on airport, they were the perfect balance of sweet and filling. The only complaint that I have that could affect the probability of me returning here would be the fact that, while ordering, the cashier that was attending to the shop, dropped a couple of doughnuts and then proceeded to put them right back on the cooling rack on which I assume she would serve per normal. If I hadn't saw this, I would definitely rate this 5-stars, but being a witness to this disgusting behavior will cause me to choice another local doughnut shop to try. read more
