Each donut along with its glaze, topping or filling,seemed made of natural and fresh ingredients. The batch we had today seemed no better than what one might purchase at a Walmart or Publix. I can only guess that Sugar Rush must have been bought by someone not as concerned with freshness or natural ingredients. That's all good for the owner, but it will likely keep us away from their door in the future.

I ordered a maple bacon donut, a sausage and cheese kolache, a Conecuh kolache, and a breakfast croissant for me. All were fantastic and fresh, and that donut was one of the best donuts I've ever had. They have a cooler full of drinks that includes chilled coffee drinks, sodas and juice. The place is extremely small. I think they had one table in there, so you might consider getting your order to go. One trip there, and breakfast will be your favorite meal of the day.
